Having a tooth pulled by Dr. Jedian is a painless experience, literally painless.  He has a wonderful bedside manner that instantly relaxes you and makes you feel at ease.  His staff is helpful, friendly and patient.  I recommend Dr. Jedian to anyone who is afraid of the dentist or has had an unpleasant experience at another dentist.

Dr. Jedian is wonderful. Very skilled, gentle, friendly… To say that he’s my favorite dentist, isn’t enough. As a child I had many cavities and orthodontic issues and learned to loathe going to the dentist. Not any more. Dr. Jedian has a calm demeanor and is friendly without being intrusive. But most importantly, he is very skilled at his job, with a gentle touch and nimble hands. What could be rather painful with another dentist is as smooth and as painless as possible. He is also very thoughtful when it comes to deciding what work needs to be done, and values your input if there’s a decision to be made. I’ve gone through many dentists in the past, and have searched hard to find one as adept as he. I’ve been a loyal patient for 8 years, I believe. Thank you, Dr. Jedian.

I had a sudden need for a crown and the original dentist i went to wanted about $1200 bucks! So, after some searching, I found Dr. Jedian through yelp and google. The doctor was able to help me figure out why my original dentist wanted  to keep one of my kidneys as payment and was able to offer me a much better option. He saved me about $500 bucks on everything. So far i’ve gotten the tooth build-up and temproary crown. Next is the appointment for the permanent.  All my interactions with Dr. Jedian and his staff have been pleasant. It’s nice to finally find a dentist who doesn’t keep you waiting.

Usually when I go to the dentist I feel anxious and a bit nervous. This time it was a totally different experience and very pleasant. With mentioning that I had 1 hour and a half of work done on my teeth as you can imagine, not fun. Doctor shahrokh was very easy going and friendly, you could tell he cares about his patient’s. Why do I say that, because when I was there he was explaining to one of his patients over the phone what needed to be done and how to do it properly. He was very professional and explained everything step by step and the reason for it. unlike other doctors that just imagine you know everything and forget that you may be nervous and want to know everything that is being done to them. So for me I found my dentist for life and highly recommend him to anybody that doesn’t like dentists in general!

I wrote my initial 5 star review based on how amazingly kind, caring, and responsive Dr. Jedian was to my complicated dental problems, and how easily and expertly he came up with a workable treatment plan to solve them. That alone is a BIG DEAL. I’d seen 3 dentists before finding Dr. Jedian. The 1st was scary, all ego and bluster, and didn’t even discuss a treatment plan with me! He said it would be emailed to me. It never was. I even called to remind the person in charge of creating it (which wasn’t even him, apparently) and sending it to me, and I STILL never got one. The 2nd said my dental issues were beyond his level of competence to treat (!) and said I needed a prosthodontist for my humongously serious and complicated dental issues. (Is that intense or what?!) The 3rd was the prosthodontist he referred me to. He didn’t explain anything, just slapped me with a $14,000 treatment plan, NONE of which was covered by my dental insurance. When I asked if I could call him if I had any questions once I’d reviewed it, he said “No. I don’t have time for talking on the phone.” Meanwhile the bottom left side of my mouth was starting to ache. SHOOT! What was I going to DO? I went back and pored over the list of providers for my dental plan one more time. I wanted to find a woman dentist this time (these men had shaken me to the core!) I narrowed the search to three- only one was a man. Yet my gut told me to go with him, so I did. Thank GOD! It was Dr. Jedian. When I called, HE was the one who returned my call. When I told him my tale of woe, he LISTENED. He squeezed me into his schedule the very next week. There was no mention at all of how “direly complicated” the work he needed to do was. He easily broke it into segments, laid out how much would be billed to insurance and how much I’d have to pay out of pocket- which was about $4,000, not $14,000! He also guaranteed me that that the amount he quoted would not change, no matter WHAT my insurance company tried to get out of paying. The first segment was most critical–the broken bridge that was already starting to ache– so we scheduled that within a few days. When the pain in my mouth suddenly got worse before then, I called the emergency number given on his voicemail on a Sunday night, and HE answered the phone. The next morning, I was in his office and the broken bridge and the infected tooth beneath it were carefully, gently, removed. Just like that! I could go on. There’s a lot more I could tell you about this wonderful dentist. But this is already really long. In a nutshell, I didn’t think there WERE any dentists like Dr. Jedian in corporate America anymore! And he knows his stuff, by the way. He teaches dentistry part-time at USC. He’s a true healer. THANK YOU, DR. JEDIAN! (I even made him let me take his picture, lol.)

I really like this Dentist a lot.  He doesn’t try to up sell you like so many other do, and he is very honest.  I went there recently because my old dentist was trying to up sell me on a drug for your gums called Arestin that cost $600!   That of course, my insurance wouldn’t pay, so I had to pay for.  I had a very bad experience with that dentist, so I went to smile makers, and not only did they see for for a FREE to look at my gums, but they told me I DON’T need Arestin, and just a good deep cleaning with flossing is all I needed.  I left there feeling good about my experience, and I highly recommend Dr. Shahrokh Jedian.  He is a good Dentist.

Came here for a cleaning and to get a couple fillings checked out… This was the first time since I was a kid that I went to a dentist that I actually liked!! First off, the office is clean, the staff is polite and professional and the doctor didn’t try to up sell me on anything. He was honest, knowledgable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing what he does. My previous dentist in LA had told me I had to have 2 of my filling redone and that I needed to do some sort of covering on the slight abfractions that I have from braces from my teen years. Great dentist, and great staff. Happy a friend referred me.   P.s. They’re in network with blue shield!

This is one of the few times I feel compelled to leave a review. Enough favorable things cannot be said about this dental practice & Dr. Jedian. Rating broken down by categories: Staff: The front desk staff is extremely courteous and help ensure a smooth visit from start to finish. Doctor’s Competence: Dr. Jedian is both confident and attentive with his patients. You know you are in good hands when he speaks. He is methodical and thorough but with ease and finesse. Cleanliness:The reception area is tidy & clean as are the patient rooms. Everything sparkles which is great given that the tools are destined for your mouth. Technology: Smile Makers Dentistry blows away the competition. Their use of email, text & phone calls for appointment booking and reminders is first class. 5 Stars Dr. Jedian & his friendly staff have established a clean and efficient environment for your dental matters. I endorse him to all co-workers and friends who live in the area and now to you. If you need a good dentist, try the SmileMakers, you will be happy you did.

Dr. Jedian by far one the BEST dentists I have ever met. Besides the knowledge, he is brilliant in how he performs every aspect of dentistry. I finally did my 3rd & final bridge with this awesome dentist & I’m finally revealed of all pain & discomfort. So grateful to have found him.  Also the staff is so friendly & professional.
