Short review: Best dentist and staff combination ever! Easy parking, access and nice waiting areas. Long review: Dropped in the Friday before NYE with major tooth pain, the fit me in, did exam, gave scripts for meds for infection and pain and I was their 3rd appointment of the New Year! Dr. Ashland called me the next morning to check on me herself. I am THE worst dental patient but she was patient and explained everything each step. The office and medical areas are clean but warm and they make great use of mobile/shared equipment. In less than 4 weeks I have had three appointments, never waited an unreasonable amount of time, and exact prices were given before any work was done. I am thrilled to have found a wonderful dentist and staff in my own home town. Regards,

By far the best dentist I have ever been to. Never have I had a dentist be so attentive to the individual needs of her patients. She calls me herself sometimes to reschedule and always has a bright and cheerful attitude. Her staff is so professional and have followed Dr. Ashland’s example of mailing sure every patient is treated with respect, and the utmost professionalism. The demonstrate their continuing education and interest in their careers every time I’m there. I’ve been seeing her for 6 years now and wouldn’t dream of switching.

I took my 3 year old son to the The Tooth Fixer (Dr. Ashland) for his first dental appointment. The appointment was a great experience. Dr. Ashland personally attended to us, was great with my son and set aside plenty of time to allow my child to become comfortable. The office is spotless, modern and state of the art. The staff was very helpful and made sure every thing was squared away with my insurance since I hadn’t been to Dr. Ashland before this appointment. I highly recommend this practice.

As a former dental professional, my standards are extremely high in regards to the dentist, dentistry, staff, cleanliness of the office and operatories . Dr. Ashland and her knowledgeable, professional and personable staff have exceeded my expectations; they have created an atmosphere of comfort and friendliness, you almost feel like you’re at home. My six year search for a gentle, caring and clean dental office has finally ended. “The Tooth Fixer” has a patient for life!!

Amazing dentist! Dr. Ashland does a  wonderful job! I had to leave my prior dentist after almost 10 years and I’m so glad I switched. She is super nice, friendly, knowledgeable, competent. I highly recommend her. The office is extremely clean and go above and beyond with the COVID precautions. All patients must wash their hands. The office staff are also friendly and nice. Don’t hesitate to call them!

Thought I had an serious complication so I contacted the emergency number. Met with me outside of office hours only to find out I was being a bit dramatic. Still did a very thorough job and was cheery as ever. One of the most delightful experiences at a dentists office Ive ever had. Highly recommend this location to all.

Everything the other reviewers say here is TRUE, so true. I just moved to CT last year (new job at UConn) and after 25+ years at a good (but kind of boring too) family dentist in Columbus OH, I was dreading the chore of finding a new (and good) dentist. Dr. Ashland’s office was my third trial office (and the other two were so bad… and also lined up procedures that I was pretty sure I really didn’t need) –and, well, third time is the charm (as they say). Everything about the office itself made me feel comfortable. GREAT communication skills (I’m essentially deaf and they didn’t blink an eye about this and worked hard to communicate well, and visually). Dr. Ashland and her assistant, Carol, interact with care and personable attention. Never thought I’d say this: but I look forward to my next dental appointment!!

Dr. Katerina Ashland is skilled, kind and professional with her patients and her staff. All of the hygienists seem to really enjoy what they do and perform well. The whole practice works as a team, always helping each other out. The receptionist is pleasant and always gives me a breakdown of costs before the work. I highly recommend!

Have been putting off going to the dentist for quite some time now, especially since I moved & it is always a tough time to find new doctors that are accepting new patients & your insurance. However, this was the best dentists appointment I have ever had. I was extremely nervous because I knew my teeth weren’t in the greatest shape due to me waiting to see a dentist for as long as I did but I am so thankful I gave The Tooth Fixer a chance !! Everyone was so nice & understanding, all of my questions were answered & they gave me a lot of recommendations. I look forward to my next appointment knowing I’m in great hands. Thanks again to everyone who I met today (2/2/18) who made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is in need of a dentist!!

The absolute best!! My son had a root canal done. Leaving aside no pain during or after. The doctor explained every step to my son in such a simple and comical way. The tooth shower explanation was his favorite lol. My son went in worried and left super happy. Will never go anywhere else.
