Dr. Thornton and his team are nothing short of amazing! I just completed two years of braces, and now my two daughters have started on their journeys. My oldest has a pretty straightforward case and always feels comfortable in the office. My 8 y/o has a very complicated tooth situation and will have to go through two phases of treatment, including exposing a tooth that is 180 degrees backward and upside down, then getting it into the place it should be. Dr. Thornton is very excited to meet this challenge. His enthusiasm makes the situation way easier on this worried mommy

I had visited 3 different ortho’s before deciding on Dr. Ben. In my consult he was the only one who hadn’t mentioned any kind of surgery or traumatic sounding treatment. I’m extremely dental phobic and quite frankly freaked out by anyone in my mouth and my teeth are severely sensitive. I was having a hard time not freaking out just being there in general (I get shots to numb just for dental cleanings even) Him and his staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I even got numbed up when it was time for removal and cleaning the glue off! they were very empathetic of my apprehensiveness. My 8 yr old daughter had a consult with Dr. Ben as well and the welcome back for me when we were seen by front office felt very heartfelt… Like I belonged. We very well could be starting treatment with Dr. Ben next month for her!

Dr. Thornton and his staff were amazing throughout the 5 years my son had braces and continue to be so with his next adventure with a retainer. They are very personable, highly knowledgeable, extremely patient, and my son has always enjoyed his appointments. We highly recommend Dr. Thornton for all of your orthodontic needs!

Our experience with Dr. Ben Thornton and staff has been exceptional. Our oldest son recently had his braces removed, and not only does he have a beautiful smile, it was a seamless process. Dr. Thornton is very knowledgeable and thorough, as is his staff, and they have the most innovative methods for straightening teeth to offer. Not only did they remember my son’s name with every visit, but mine as well, and they always explained exactly what the goal was after each appointment. I would recommend Thornton Orthodontics to anyone, and we will be back when my youngest son is ready for braces.

Thornton Orthodontics is a wonderful establishment and Ben Thornton is amazing, professional, and exceptional with children, and adults! I first brought my pre-teen to Dr. Thornton after being referred by our dentist. Not only did they do a great job on her smile, but I returned to have them do my smile next! Now, my two younger children are receiving treatment from Thornton Orthodontics and I couldn’t be happier or any more pleased. To come back not once, but four times really says something about the service and care they provide.

Just finished our third phase of braces between two daughters. We have had nothing short of a perfect experience with Dr Thornton and his wonderful staff. They have always treated us with kindness, they all know our names when we walk through the door, and the treatments have produced great results. I have recommended Dr Thornton to several friends and they have all had the same great experience. Thank you, Dr T and company for being superb!

Friendly service, great work. My daughter’s first orthodontist tried to tell us hr had to pull a bunch of her teeth. Dr. Thornton and staff said that wasn’t necessary. Instead they created a plan that worked great without pulling teeth. She has really nice teeth now. Phase I wasn’t fully covered by our insurance, but Phase II is. Our daughter also liked the rewards program, and loves her lava lamp. We would recommend Thornton Orthodontics.

PLEASE READ!!! My daughter Casedee Tough was born on September 10th 2007, with cleft clip and palate. She has been a patient at Shriners Children’s Hospital since the day she was born, undergoing 4-5 surgeries in her young life. The dream team at Shriners were the ones who referred my daughter to Dr Thorntons office for her orthodontic care. She became a patient of Dr Thorntons when she was just 5 years old. he and all of the lovely people in his office, have been welcoming understanding and caring the entire time we have been with his office. My daughters treatment was, for the most part, paid for by her daddy’s insurance. On our way to one of our most recent appointments, I received a phone call from my father in law with horrible news. He was calling to inform me that my mother in law, who is only 50 years old, was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer earlier this year, had two more tumors show up on a recent MRI. Our family means a lot. My mother in laws treatments for chemo, just to keep her with us a little longer, cost $589 a week. We helped sharing the cost to ease the burden for my mother in law and father in law. My husband and I have 5 children and three grandchildren in addition I take care of my mom who lives with us. This last year’s events have taken a toll on our finances. We are currently in the process of a foreclosure on our home. Receiving this news was very devastating and it took all I had to hold it together with my daughter in the car. We arrived at her appointment and my daughter was quickly taken back as usual. Sarah, the office manager, asked if she could speak with me a moment. She was informing me that she has been in a back and forth battle with my husband’s insurance, who was refusing to pay for any more ofCasedee’s orthodontic care. We had an unpaid balance of over $2,500, which obviously we could not afford. I lost it. I broke down in tears sobbing uncontrollably right there in her office. I’m sure this made Sarah feel a little uncomfortable, but she did not show it. She said with me, she held my hand, she hugged me, even cried with me. she said to just bring the paperwork home don’t worry about it right now get ahold of her when I had some time to go over a payment plan. For the next couple weeks ignored I think 2 or 3 phone calls from Dr Thorntons office. I was in a state of complete depression. The next time Dr Thorntons office called, I accidentally answered the phone, to tell you the truth. Sarah was on the other line, stating she had great news. she said after Casedee and I left Dr Thorntons office the last time, she spoke with Dr Thornton, informing him of my family’s situation. Dr Thornton, and his gracious heart, was forgiving our past due amount of over $2,500, and continuing this phase of my daughters treatment for free. I could not believe my years! Poor Sarah, I was a blubbering idiot all over again. I could not thank them enough, & I will never have the right words to express my family’s gratitude for Dr Thornton and this miracle he gave to my family. This Christmas season, is much different than our previous Christmases as a family. Where my family is usually the givers for the season to Toys for Tots and similar Charities, this year I have to sign up to be a receiver of these charities. I am thankful for Dr Thornton and all of the wonderful and friendly people in his office and I am thankful to God for putting me in the direction of not only beautiful, loving people, like those at Dr. Ben Thornton’s Orthodontics, but also for having our mother with us during this season of memories and miracles.
