Dr. Elloway  is more than you can ask for in a dentist, he is professional, his staff are exceptional, he lets you know what he is going to do, then explains it so you understand why he does what he does. And what he does is excellent work including the best cleanings I have ever had. He takes his time to talk to you and he truly cares about you.

The initial evaluation was detailed and thorough. Dr. Elloway spent time to explain in detail what work I needed done in my mouth and teeth. The office staff and assistant are very lovely and pleasant and I looked forward to getting the work done. Today was my second visit to fill a molar tooth and do lower root plaining. I was so glad Dr. Elloway was performing the entire procedure with a very skilled assistant and that I felt absolutely no pain. Dr. paced the pain management perfectly and kept me informed during the process. I got home in an hour after the procedure and had lunch as usual. I assured my husband not to be apprehensive about the deep cleaning he was scheduled for with Dr. Elloway. Based on past experience with 2 other dentists; I was apprehensive. I know this may sound crazy, but This process was a Real Treat by Dr. Elloway and his staff. I am looking forward to get my upper teeth cleaned as well. Several years ago, I suffered a traumatic injury that rendered one of my canine teeth dead, and an incisor snapped in half. I went to Dr. Elloway for a permanent crown to replace a temporary one I had after a root canal. Having grown up around lawyers and doctors in my family, including a dentist, and as an engineer and photographer, I am often scrupulous among the detail-oriented, and am especially so when the matter is my health. So, take the following review with not even a grain of salt: Dr. Elloway’s expertise is shown in his meticulous nature and deep, decades-long knowledge. His ability to answer every question in approachable terms and with appropriate humor makes the otherwise intimidating ordeal relaxing and enjoyable. When discussing teeth shades for my crown, he used visual scales, explained how differences in light affect perception, and how choosing the right hue relied on any future plans of whitening I might have. About other crown particulars, he described the balance between proper alignment and natural alignment with respect to sizing, and how minuscule details like teeth banding are mimicked, something I had not noticed. All of this is not to say that Dr. Elloway is without personality and the office is as dull as a government processing center. To the contrary, Wendy and Brenda are quite friendly and helpful, happy to help and facilitate, and know their professions. Both of my visits were smooth and professional, and I didn’t feel rushed or like just another patient in the books. The quality of work exceeded my long-standing expectations; I cannot, staring at my own teeth, tell that one of my incisors is not natural. If you have need of dental work, Dr. Elloway and his staff are exceptional. edit: typos.

I’ve only been coming to him since the fire. My former dentist who retired recommended him. I am very pleased with the service I’ve got from Dr. Elloway and the gals in his office. They are very helpful and personable. I also like the fact that he does the cleaning and educates me. I feel like I’m getting the best care there.

I’m glad Dr Elloway is back up and running after the Camp Fire put him out of business…. along with thousands of others. The new office site in Chico is welcoming and warm and easy to find. I’m grateful for continued, good dentistry. I appreciate Tim’s integrity as well as that of his staff. I recommend Dr. Elloway as a great dentist….personable and careful work.

Dr Elloway is fantastic, along with Brenda and Wendy.. I always appreciate how much time he takes to explain everything and answer questions at our appointments. He has done an excellent job with my every filling, root canal, and more, and even fixed the mistakes of previous dentists. He’s understanding of hard working families and helps me to prioritize my visits, making payments more manageable. I always leave feeling well taken care of. I’m extremely grateful for Dr Elloway and his staff and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for superior dentistry.

Our Dentist disappeared after the fire. We knew Dr. Elloway personally and decided to give him a try. Great choice! He detected and corrected a very small gum line cavity that was repaired immediately. He’s thorough, communicative with a caring demeanor, and high tech with a great staff. An additional plus: he’s a Rotarian!
