If you have children – this is the dentist you want to use. I have had several dentists in my life – and this is by far – THE BEST dentist office/staff/dentist that I have ever gone to. They took such great care of my son!! I have twins and going to the dentist can be a very scary experience. I can assure you that my child was EXCITED that he has a follow up visit tomorrow!!! My 4 kids have all been going here for years and they always have a wonderful experience. We have seen the Dr. and her fantastic staff for cleanings as well as 1 extraction and 2 fillings. All pain (and fear!) free. My kids love coming into the clean, modern office. The waiting room has games, small toys and TV screens. All the chairs have individual TV’s (with netflix) for the kids to watch. Very happy with our experiences over the 5 years we’ve been going. There has only been 1 hiccup with the billing, but other than that no complaints.

This is the best pediatric dentist office around! It’s super clean and decorated in an adorable fish/aquarium theme with cute toys in the waiting room. Due to the Covid pandemic they now have a “virtual waiting room” you check in through a link sent to your phone and they let you know when you can come up so social distancing guidelines can be followed. My daughter is almost 3 and loves coming in here and has no fear! The hygienists are super sweet and good with little ones and so is Dr Tina. She is smart, friendly and has a calm demeanor to her that the kids pick up on. I was nervous that my daughter was going to be scared for her teeth cleaning appointment but they did an awesome job encouraging her and engaging with her in an appropriate way for her age and making it fun. Highly recommended!

Dr. Tina and her staff are fantastic! We were personally recommended to see her regarding an ortho solution for our 9 yr old son. She was very professional during our consultation, only addressing what needed to get done rather than recommending a bunch of other treatments to keep us there. We currently drive from Irvine to her office in Santa Margarita because we’ve been very pleased with my son’s progress and really appreciate how Tina and her staff have been taking care of him and communicating with us regarding his current status and continuing steps. Dr Tina has a great bedside manner as well as a great way with kids. The office is very well appointed with a beach theme and has great kid amenities (video games and overhead movies) to help with creating a great overall experience. So glad that we found her and would definitely recommend her to our friends and family!

Dr. Tina is amazing. I am willing to make the longer drive to her office because she is the only way I have been able to get my 6 year old Daughter’s teeth fixed. If you have a child who has fear/anxiety at the dentist, Dr. Tina and her staff are the best and I would highly recommend them! I brought my daughter in when I was desperate because my Daughter hardly let anyone take clear x-rays of her teeth, and I didn’t know how we were going to fix her 4-5 cavities. We even had another pediatric dentist refuse to work on her before I found Dr. Tina because she wouldn’t stop moving and kept taking the nitrous oxide mask off. Dr. Tina’s staff was able to get my Daughter to leave the nitrous oxide mask on, and relax enough while watching movies that they could work on her teeth in shorter (4-5) visits to make it more tolerable for my Daughter. With each visit, Dr. TIna has been so gentle, kind, patient and accommodating. She has a very calm and reassuring bed side manner. Her staff is top notch as well, and have always made us feel welcome no matter if my Daughter cried, wailed, moved, etc. The office is very bright, fun, and kid centered. I am so appreciative of this office and would recommend them to anyone for children!

Dr Tina takes care of my grandchildren for the past two years. A lot of the times, I would be bringing them in for heir appointments. My grandchildren really love Dr. Tina and all the staff. We prefer to see Katarina but each of the staff members in her office are amazing and very friendly and always make the children comfortable. Yesterday I brought my grandson in for his appointment for a retainer check and the experience was very nice for both of us. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant. As I walked in, I first noticed the live fireplace screen on the wall and soothing background music. A pleasant waiting room area and fun game shack for him to play in. Dr. Tina has very good chair-side manner and is very professional. She is very kind, gentle, always with a warm smile and made my grandson very comfortable. She did a complete exam on my grandson and provided full instructions about future treatments. Even though it’s a little longer drive to her office, we are very blessed to have found her office to bring our grandchildren for dental and orthodontist care. Keep up the good work Dr. Tina and staff!!

I found Dr.Tina after a horrific experience at another pediatric dentist which left my children terrified of even entering a dentist’s office. I made the staff aware of my children’s fears and we were greeted at the door as if we were friends for years. Everyone in the entire staff from the front desk to the assistants to Dr. Tina herself was absolutely phenomenal. And I can’t say that we were treated specially… that’s just who they are. They are all meant to work with children. They have the calm, nurturing, comforting, caring personalities that you would expect of a person who works in pediatrics. My children are actually now excited to come to their 6 month cleanings!!! What a difference! I’ll never go anywhere else!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The office CLEAN and beautiful. There is a nice sink in the shape of a surfboard and free individually-wrapped toothbrushes provided for your child. There are fun video games in the tiki village hut in the lobby. Dental hygienists are professional, competent, and are great working with kids. Not scary or intimidating at all. There are TVs for each seat with a nice selection of movies to distract and entertain your child. The receptionists are polite, courteous, and professional. They are knowledgable about insurance issues and they take the time to personally call and remind you of your upcoming appointment. And Dr. Azin: the nicest, sweetest pediatric dentist you have ever met (besides my cousin Dr. Melissa Connell who practices in Chicago:). And she knows her stuff. She is honest and highly intelligent. She does not engage in shady business practices or try to upsell you on anything unnecessary. She really does have the best interests of your child in mind. When I found out that Dr. Azin did not take my new insurance, I was devastated. I asked my husband to change our insurance right away to Delta PPO so that we could send our kids back to her. Now you can see why it’s so difficult getting an appointment. She is the best children’s dentist in the OC.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Tina since she opened her practice and my son since he was old enough to go to the dentist. Her and her staff are absolutely amazing! Her office is inviting and they are all so attentive with all of the kids they see. Katarina is excellent and well versed in her abilities. Dr. Tina is genuine and doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to the treatment and expectations. I don’t understand how some people could give 1 star because their insurance doesn’t cover the treatment or they had a problem with a receptionist (I have never had an issue with any of them), etc.. Neither of these reasons negate the level of care and quality of service provided. They have the most up to date equipment and try to stay ahead of the game. My daughter was their first patient to get the new type of braces that they are now solely using, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress. I can’t say enough about Dr. Tina and her staff! I highly recommend her practice to all parents!

Our mission is to provide the highest quality pediatric dental and orthodontic care available while maintaining a fun and relaxing environment. Our state-of-the-art office was designed with our patient's health and comfort in mind. We are equipped with the latest technology in dental care such as digital x-rays, superior dental products, and advanced sterilization procedures. In addition, we offer the latest in orthodontic techniques and materials such as self-ligating brackets (Damon System), ceramic braces and Invisalign. Dr. Tina was raised in Northern California. After completing her undergraduate studies at UC Davis, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA School of Dentistry. She was selected to complete her residency at UCLA’s unique dual specialty program because of her academic achievements. She is among only a handful of dentists in the United States who specialize in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Dr. Tina has been practicing since the year 2000 and is active in many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, to name just a few. Dr. Tina loves spending time with her husband and twin girls! She also enjoys traveling, scuba diving, wake boarding, and snow-boarding when she has a free moment. One of Dr. Tina’s favorite foods is sushi.
