I first discovered Tina a year ago when my daughter chipped her tooth while at school. She took us right in and did a fantastic job repairing the chip. Since that time, my entire family has moved to her. The office is great; they work with my insurance, they send e-mail reminders about appointments, and they will fit me in to their schedule on very short notice. All the work she has done on me has been excellent. I wasn’t unhappy with my family’s previous dentist but when we found Tina, we couldn’t help but move our business over to her. She is great with my kids and my husband. I can’t recommend her enough. FANTASTIC!

Went to her for a second opinion after I was told I need extensive treatment by another dentist. She took the time and explained treatment options to me and her assistant helped with insurance and payment options. Nobody likes dental work let alone paying for it. After two root canals and crowns I feel so much better and can now eat and take care of my teeth without pain. She called personally to check on me and held my hand the entire way. Ive found my dentist for life.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tina for over a decade. She and her staff have consistently provided high quality care over all of these years. I appreciate that Dr. Tina provides her honest assessment of how to approach an issue, and doesn’t immediately jump to the most extreme and expensive option. Two years ago when I moved from Washington to Pasadena Ca I was looking for a new dentist in my neighborhood. Dr. Tina Ghotanian was referred to me by a coworker; I decided to give it a try. Soon after my first visit I came to realize there was no need to look further. Dr Tina Ghotanian is professional, friendly and gentle; she is informed on current procedures and technology. The staff is helpful and efficient. Her office offers the latest in technology and Digital X-ray which helps to better understanding of what is going on inside your mouth, each patient has their own flat screen TV’s to entertain during cleaning. I can not say enough great things about my experience at this office. Recently I had some work done, couple of fillings and some cosmetic veneers. First impressions are so important. I needed a last minute appointment with a new doctor because of a cracked tooth and as with most of these experiences, I was expecting the worst. Most places make you jump through hoops when changing facilities and make you wait weeks before being seen. Fortunately, Dr. Ghotanian and her team have their act together. They gave me an appointment within the hour, did x-rays, and referred me to an oral surgeon (who is in the same building). If you enjoy a smile, good customer service, and a clean facility, this is the place to go.

I love this place! I’ve visited this dentist office 2x. First, to get my teeth x-rayed. And second, to get a teeth cleaning. Every office has their system in managing appointments and theirs works. Both times I was in and out of the office within an hour. Everyone is very nice. I’m a big person on customer service and this place definitely has GREAT customer service. Dr. Ghotanian is very sweet. I’m def staying here for many years to come!

There was a dark cloud following over my head this past week. Yep, I was due for a dentist appointment. That’s a lie. I was OVERdue for a dentist appointment…. WAY overdue. To top it off, my insurance had changed, I had moved to a new place, and I was going to a new dentist. If you happened to read my other dental review about Dr. Tubis, you might remember that I was 100% happy with his service and had gone through 3 other dentists before I found him. Needless to say, I was dreading the thought of possibly going through another “dentist hunt”, trying to find a good one again. Well let me tell you this, Dr. Tina’s office staff was pleasant from the start, saw me in a timely fashion, and was incredibly genuine and caring. They did things right, explained things thoroughly, and didn’t treat my mouth like some inanimate object with no nerve endings attached. To top it off, much to my extreme surprise, there was no upsell or recommendation for unnecessary work! Holy cow! I feel like a Lottery winner! Thx Dr. Tina!!! See you in 6 months! I’m actually looking forward to it! =)

I would have to give them 5 stars. I went to another Dentist in Pasadena (located near Lake and Walnut). That Dentist took X-Rays, refused to do a cleaning and gave me an invoice of $5000 for all the needed work (mind you I have insurance, and some of their recommendations were iffy). At that point I was ready to drive to Tijuana (I do not speak Spanish) and check out a Dentist in Mexico (some have very great reviews) … the Dentist in TJ was trained at McGill in Canada, and that appealed it the Canadian in me … My wife intervened (she did not want me border-hopping), and sent me to Dental Arts in Pasadena. The examination was simple and straightforward. They recommended a root-canal (I did need one). My bill was less than 1/5th of what the other dentist was telling me .. They are good … I think I have finally found a good dentist. Staff is friendly, they do what they say they are doing and they did not overwhelm me with price.

There’s such a great staff here. I always feel well taken care of at my appointments. I recently had a pretty big procedure done that took multiple visits over a handful of weeks, and each time I came in, Dr. Ghotanian would check in to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with the work being done. Going to the dentist was always something that gave me anxiety, but not at this office. I’ve been coming here for years now and really appreciate the high level of customer care and great work they do.

Dr. Ghotanian is my new dentist and I am so happy she is. I had been with my previous dentist for over 20 years but had to change when I changed insurance companies. I was very apprehensive about having to find a new dentist but I can now say I am very pleased I am one of Dr. Ghotanian’s patients. She knows what she is doing, she is gentle, she caught a problem before it became urgent. Her Pasadena office is very clean and her staff is very nice. Highly recommend. Don’t know other’s experiences but having Delta insurance really helps cut down costs. All dentists are very expensive without insurance – I know because I paid out of pocket for 10 years because I was afraid to change dentists. I highly recommend. : )

Not a frustrating place!! I have been to a few dental offices and this place is organized! I went in for my first appointment, which was an exam, xray and I met with the Dr. The Dr. was very nice, as was the staff. I was happy that they took the time to explain my treatment . When I first called all I wanted was the cleaning but they explained to me that they need to meet with me first to determine my dental health; I appreciate this for they were able to properly let me know what was and is needed (which is not that much). I didn’t feel any pressure to do my dental work. Great, great office

The staff is very professional and kind. Every time a procedure is recommended it comes with a thorough explanation from Dr. Tina herself. I just had a deep cleaning today and the person who did it was pleasant and caring. She was always asking how I was doing. They recommended I get something additional but didn’t pressure me into getting it. So different than the last dentist I visited. I just wish I could book a cleaning 6 months in advance due to my hectic schedule, but that is not allowed and to their credit they do send email reminders. I’d highly recommended this office.

I am on an HMO plan and if you are too, then you know finding a good dentist is like looking for a needle in a haystack. After hunting for reviews of all plan doctors in the Pasadena area, I can across a review for Dr. Ghotanian’s practice and by some miracle they all seemed stellar. And they were right. All I did was xrays and a cleaning, but the staff was friendly, punctual, the place looked clean, modern, and the cleaning was one of the best I have had in years! It reminded me of my family dentist back home in TX. Anyway, point is, if you are searching for a dentist, HMO or not, give this practice a try!

Only went in for my first appointment and cleaning, but I was really impressed. It’s a small office, but I felt like everything was more personalized. Dr. Ghotanian and her staff were great and very throughout and never tried to upsell me or recommend a procedure that I know I wouldn’t need. Also, they let me send over my previous dentist’s x-rays, so I didn’t need to have a consultation appointment and come back later for a cleaning, which is a huge relief when you work traditional hours and can’t take time off to make multiple visits. Cleanings are covered by my insurance, so I can’t comment on pricing. I am recommending her to all my coworkers who are on the same insurance plan.

Dr. Tina Ghotanian has restored my faith in dentists. I moved to LA about 3 years ago and have been searching for a dentist. I had a horrible experience with a different dentist and was wary of finding another. Dr. Ghotanian was a breath of fresh air. I visited her office on Tuesday for a consultation. I decided to start over and get new X-Rays even though they wouldn’t be covered because it was less than a year since I took my last set – and I did not want to go through my old dentist to get them. She reviewed the X-Rays and examined my mouth. She confirmed my good oral hygiene, and was even able to squeeze in a cleaning for me. She went over all of the things the bad dentist said I needed, and confirmed I did not need the procedures recommended and why. She was EXTREMELY honest and has a bedside manner that puts you at ease. I see some reviews saying she is out to get your money… which I would like to address because it is extremely confusing to me. I had the opposite experience, and have a hard time believing that. She went above and beyond and even comped my X-Rays. She knew what a bad experience I had had at the horrible dentist, and wanted to get me back on track in a positive way. I am SO glad I found Dr. Ghotanian, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Tina Ghotanian for 8 years and have found her and her entire staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and fair. I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes before seeing the doctor or a hygienist. The doctor always explains my x-rays and if I need a procedure beyond a regular cleaning or check-up. Not quite a year later and I continue to be impressed with the professionalism and personal care administered by Dr. Ghotanian and her staff. Throughout the process of having 11 teeth removed and fitted for permanent partials, her team assisted me (and the oral surgeon’s office) by wading through the red tape of both my insurance company and the company managing my flexible spending account. They filed appeals that resulted in me receiving the treatments I needed, and jumped through several hoops to make sure my procedures were approved and paid for. In addition, they worked with the lab and lab tech who created my partials until everything fit perfectly. And kudos to Rebecca, who suggested I consider permanent bridges for my uppers instead of partials for a more natural (and comfortable) look. I took her advice and now have a natural and beautiful looking smile – and it was just in time for my wedding in September. As long as Dr. Ghotanian practices dentistry, I will continue to be her patient and consider myself fortunate and blessed because of this.
