Before my daughter’s teeth gum area was little swelling and sometime bleeding, since she switched to Dr. Zhu, I noticed that my daughter’s teeth gum area looks very healthy now. Dr. Zhu must have some magic to treat my daughter! When Dr. Zhu is doing the routine clean, she is very gentle on my daughter’s teeth and my daughter feels very comfortable and relaxed; When Dr. Zhu did teeth filling to my daughter who did not feel any pain at all. Dr. Zhu is a very experienced Dentist, she and her staff are all very friendly with patients, the dental office with latest technology equipment. We are so glad to have found Dr. Zhu!

Make long story short, I waited too long and my teeth started acting up at the most inopportune time during this pandemic. I got an appointment quickly and they took my temperature and had all the safety protocol. I was super scared as always when it comes to dental work but the dentist really took her time to explain everything to me. When I walked out, I was out of pain(go novacain!) and felt well taken care of. I’ll be back to get my crown and other stuff done. She’s good!

Dr. Zhu is awesome! I’m not generally a fan of going to the dentist. Her “chair side” manners are reassuring. I had to undergo my 1st root canal. I was so relaxed, that I fell asleep during the entire process. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the entire process. She also explained what was happening throughout the entire process.

Got my teeth cleaned soon after Dr. Zhu opened her office, and found the experience enjoyable (as much as one can call any dental visit enjoyable). She was thorough with her exam and fairly light handed with the ultrasonic tooth cleaner and scraper thing. My teeth were very clean. She also took her time reviewing the treatment plan with me to ensure I understood my options and had a chance to get my questions answered. I really like her friendly style, and I will definitely keep her as my dentist!

Just had my fillings done last week. I waited over a year because of COVID and the cavities in my molars were starting to act up big time. The dentist really numbed me and did a good job. How do I know she did good? For the past 7 years, I’ve been relying on Dr. Zhu’s office for all my health concerns from dental procedures to any physical discomfort. I’m blessed to find this “one-stop-shop”, because Ms. Tingting Zhu, the daughter, is a dentist and Ms. Xiaolan, Zhu, the mother is a general practitioner. I didn’t just go there for the convenience, what keeps bringing me back is their professionalism and their care for their patients. Dr. Esther Park recently fixed 7 teeth for me including a crown . It went like a breeze. And I just can’t say enough good words about her assistant Angeline. She is so sweet and meticulous. Going to the dentist is not a drag, but more like visiting friends to me. Dr. Zhu is most certainly one of the top dentist in Virginia, if not the country. I, like most of you, generally get an acute stress response at the thought of visiting the dentist — which is why I hadn’t been to see one in over a decade. When I entered Dr. Zhu’s office I was instantly taken aback by the modern equipment and decor. She certainly has spared no expense in creating a workspace to match her professionalism. During my consultation I received the news I’d been dreading: eight cavities and two root canals. As you would expect a torrent of anxiety washed over me. If it were not for pride I may have simply said good day at this point. Dr. Zhu however (as I’m sure this is a reaction she is not unaccustomed to) put me at ease with a remarkably candid speech stating indisputable facts. Given little choice in the matter due to sound logic I consented to what I believed would be a living nightmare. The next five hours were far more painful for Dr. Zhu than for me! Her tools and techniques are truly state of the art. I can honestly state that outside of a bit of tugging here and there, I felt absolutely no pain — not even during the injections. Dr. Zhu is a wizard and a master of her craft. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a visit! )

I can’t rate Dr. Zhu highly enough. I hadn’t been to the dentist in far too long before seeing her and needed to have a lot of work done. She was very straightforward and non-judgemental in developing the treatment plan. She is also a very gentle and skilled dentist – numbing injections and procedures were painless. If you are dentist phobic, or just have put off dental visits, I highly recommend Dr. Zhu.
