From the moment you step in, you are warmly greeted by the fresh décor, beautiful flowers, and the charming greeting from Gaby at the front desk. Next, the plush chairs and TVs in each room might make you forget that you are not at home. I was referred to Dr. Delakyan by a very close friend of mine for any of my dental needs. My fiancé needed a new bite gaurd and we took our friends recommendation and we are happy we did. This review is long overdue. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to for this place. Hands down Dr. Delakyan is THE BEST dentist! I came here about 4 months ago for an unpleasant emergency situation- one of my teeth that was previously fixed by another dentist cracked and fell out. My regular dentist’s office was not willing to accommodate me and was going to give me and appointment in a few weeks. I called several other other places (with far lower ratings by the way) that were all going to make me wait even longer. My boss recommended that I give Dr. Delakyan’s office a call. I spoke to Ani who was so sweet on the phone and told me she’ll do her best to help me. I explained what happened and how I needed to fix it asap and she was able to accommodate me as soon as the next day. When I got there the next day all of his staff (especially Ani) were very professional, sweet and friendly. Dr. Delakyan took his time with me and explained everything thoroughly even though I came at a very busy time. He was so friendly, down to earth, professional, knowledgeable, calm and reassuring that I never once worried about the procedure. I told him that I have zero pain tolerance and also get really nervous and scared every time I see a dentist and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time, asking me if I was ok throughout the procedure and needless to say I did not feel any pain at all!!! His prices are also great and very fair especially for his skills, professionalism and the top quality patient care he provides. I’ve already recommended him to all my friends and family because he truly is an amazing doctor and person. I’m extremely happy with his work and will be coming back here for all of my dental needs. I wish I could give him 10 stars as 5 stars don’t do him justice! Thank you so much Dr. Delakyan and your staff for your outstanding patient care and for the best dental experience I have ever had!!!

Had my first appointment here today. I haven’t see a dentist in years (partly because I’m a huge baby about teeth stuff) and my wisdom teeth where splitting my head in half. They managed to fit me in same day on very short notice, which I’m incredibly thankful for as I was in an incredible amount of pain. Dr. Delakyan was super nice and incredibly honest with me. He took the time to explain my x-rays to me and form a loose game plan on the few things that where happening. Unfortunately, I needed full panoramic x-rays, which they don’t do in house, but he wrote me a referral to a place that can and said he didn’t want to mess with anything till he got the x-ray. WOW. It’s so refreshing to have a dentist that not only takes the time to let you know whats happening, but doesn’t pressure you or try to “up-sell” you. Best of all, there was no charge for the consultation and the prescriptions he wrote. As someone with no dental insurance, it was a huge relief. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a new dentist, give this place a try. A++

The staff was very nice and helpful and the office is extremely clean! I was looking for a new dentist for a long time and found Dr. Delakyan on Yelp. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took his time to explain everything in detail and was never hesitant to answer all of my questions. He didn’t try to sell me on any procedures and made me comfortable with what I needed like getting my wisdom teeth pulled (which I have been delaying). Going to the dentist was horrifying for me until I became a patient at Greenwood Dental. I was having extreme throbbing pain one day when I tried to make an emergency appointment here for the first time, and was amazed at how accommodating and sympathetic everyone from the girls on the phone to Dr. Delakyan were in seeing me on such short notice & alleviating my pain. I have received treatment from multiple doctors here, including Dr. Delakyan, Dr. Juliet Ebrahimian, and Dr. Girgis, all of whom have incredible bedside manner and show advanced skill in various types of dental treatment. My cleanings are always thorough, my fillings remain perfectly intact, and my extraction sites have healed beautifully. All the assistants and front office workers are also very friendly and accommodating! I no longer dread going to the dentist thanks to Dr. Delakyan and his amazing staff. I feel welcome from the moment I walk in and feel safe in this incredibly clean clinic. Thank you for keeping me happy and taking care of all my dental needs!

I’ve seen both Dr. Delakyan and Dr. Ghookasian and can’t decide which one is the coolest. Would absolutely trust both doctors with my teeth and have for the last four years. Thank God for Jessica and Dr. Spartak Delakyan! After seeing two dentists prior to coming here I had begun to become weary of ever entering another dentist’s office unless I was absolutely in dire need. My previous experiences with finding a dentist since moving to LA was nothing short of a nightmare. I have been under serviced and overcharged and lost trust in all dentist until having a talk with Jessica and Dr. Spartak. They sat down and thoroughly explained the cost and each step of the procedure, about 3-4 times because my head was spinning while trying to make sense of everything (my trust issues were serious at this point), and worked through the costs with me. I’m confident that I made the right decision to book the appointment because now I understand exactly what I need and I know for a fact the prices are more than fair. I still don’t trust dentists in general but it’s no longer a concern since I’ll be coming here for all of my dental needs.

Extremly clean office! Gaby is very kind and helpful! She is on top of her work and is always there to help. They do send out reminders which I think is great for people who have hectic daily schedules to give us a heads up that our appointmnet is coming up incase we forgot to reschedule. This deserving review was weeks in the making. I first found Greenwood Dental & Orthodontics (on Yelp) several months back. I later came in for a consultation about veneers. When I first came in I met with Ariana (front office) who greeted me with kindness and superior professionalism (rare nowadays). She made me feel at home right away and directed me every step of the way. She arranged for Dr. Delakyan and off to the races I went. Dr. Delakyan (lets call him Dr. D) exudes himself to be a people person right away and made me feel very comfortable immediately. He addressed every one of my concerns and answered all of my questions thoroughly without the “scripted” pitch. He took his time explained himself and didn’t make our conversation feel rushed AT ALL. Fast forward to January 2018 and Dr. D has performed a set of X-Rays, a root canal procedure and I’m set to come in for a deep cleaning in a few weeks. So far so good!! I’m very pleased with Dr. D’s work thus far and can’t wait to see what the future brings at his practice. On another note, Greenwood Dental’s office is definitely not a very large place, however, it feels very intimate and not cookie cutter-ish. The rooms are equipped with what appears to be newer technology and are kept very clean. The large flat screens with the Netflix option is not a bad way to wait around for Dr. D! 5 STARS in my book!

Dr Delakyan is top notch, hands down the best dentist. Look no further. Dr Nakashyan, my periodontist (also the best perio in the field, in the country), referred me for cavities and let me tell you, the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff is kind, nice, puts you at ease while Dr Delakyan’s kind and skillful approach are second to none. I had let the cavity grow (my fear of dental work due to previous horrible experiences) to a point that I couldn’t eat sweets anymore. And that’s a tragedy in my book! Lol Dr Delakyan fixed my cavities, changed my old silver fillings into white ones all without me feeling any discomfort before or even after the procedure. There’s is plenty of parking in the plaza for free. The office is in the first floor, easy to find. He’s fantastic. Look no further! Great dentist!

I just went through the trouble of trying to remember my Yelp password so I could log in and tell you all that Dr. Delakyan is the BEST dentist in LA. I’ve never had better a dental experience than what I received from Toluca Dental Studio. Dr. D has an amazing bedside manner and puts so much care into the quality of his work. I had a bad crown done by a ‘reputable’ dentist several years ago. Dr. D quickly identified all the unique problems with it and repaired it flawlessly with a level of expertise that I’ve never experienced at a dental office before. This has to be one of the highest quality dental offices in all of LA, but they charge very fair prices. The facilities are clean, the equipment is super modern, and the entire staff is professional and kind. Appointments were always on time, I received very handy appointment reminders via text message, and they followed up with a phone call after every appointment to make sure my teeth were feeling okay. Can’t recommend them enough. Great place.

Simply the best. From my first appointment at Toluca Dental Studio, I knew I found my forever dentist. The staff members are all beyond professional, kind and friendly. Dr. D is professional, thoughtful, sympathetic and, I suspect, a wizard. For the first time in my dental patient career, I look forward to going to my dental appointments. No matter what horrific procedure I need to have done, (root canals, fillings, debridement, extractions, implants, etc…) I always feel like I’m in for a pleasant time. I am aware of how bonkers that sounds, but nonetheless, it’s the truth. When I say simply the best, I humbly do so with what I consider great authority; me and my mouth full of drama having been to countless dentists over the past few decades. The short version of my long sad dental saga is that my teeth were apparently designed by the good folks at IKEA. They are nice to look at, but not designed to last. Unfortunately, my IKEA teeth have cost me a Restoration Hardware fortune over the last 20 + years. I have had a major dental procedure almost every year since I was 15 years old. In order to pay these insane dental bills, I have to keep my job with my fancy dental insurance and not so fancy salary. This means, like most people, I am always busy and it’s hard to find time to get to the dentist. Dr. D. and his team have always been incredibly flexible and repeatedly fit me into their schedule as needed. I have never felt rushed, or like a cog on the assembly line. They are very considerate of their patients time and scheduling needs and sensitive to the financial aspect of the work. Dr. D assess the situation at hand and will provide options and work with you on a strategic plan to move forward. He has performed clutch procedures salvaging the Titanic disasters left behind in the wake of less competent practitioners. In short. I highly recommend Dr. D and the team at Toluca Dental Studio. If you decide to give them a try, you will not regret it.

The best dentist in LA! I had trouble finding a reliable and trustworthy dentist when I moved here and avoided going to the dentist for far too long. About a year ago, I had a calcified nerve and half of my tooth fell off… I went to a couple dentists and felt that they were trying to rob me. And then I went to Toluca Dental Studio and finally felt I was in good hands! Dr. Delakyan told me straight up that I should go see a specialist for the problem I had and sent me to a great doctor. He didn’t try and do it himself first to make a quick buck and he took both pictures AND x-rays of everything to fully explain to me what was going on. I knew then I was in good hands! After I went to the recommended specialist, Dr. Delakyan did a GREAT job doing my crown, a deep cleaning, and replacing some of my old metal fillings. I just went back this week for a root canal and another crown on a tooth with old fillings. I have a little bit of a tolerance to the numbing and he has been awesome monitoring my pain and helping me feel as comfortable as possible. The whole staff is so sweet and helpful. You’ll receive text message reminders for your appointments. And if you need help with payment plans, they will work with you to find a good compromise. They really have your best interest at heart. Let me begin by speaking about the staff. The front office staff has always been so kind and welcoming. that alone calms any nerves/fear of your dental visit. The waiting room/area is always clean and pleasant to sit in. I have been a loyal patient of Dr.Delakyan for years. His attention to detail and the constant explanation of what he was doing and why he was doing it was always incredibly thorough and appreciated. I’ve never felt taken advantage of or forced to do dental work I didn’t think was needed. The honesty nowadays is rare, so this is appreciated. In my most recent check up, I was seen by Dr. Vahe. Dr Vahe was not only very professional and gentle but also had the same attention to detail and proper explanation of his every move. He was constantly checking on me and making sure I was ok. He gave me a numbing injection and I DIDNT FEEL A THING! it was by far one of the most pleasant dental experiences I’ve ever had. his perfectionism is respectable as he takes pride in his work and the satisfaction of the patient. Best dentist experience ever! Dr. Delakyan is super nice, hilarious, and really, really quick. When I came for a cleaning and consultation I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time, so I had a couple cavities, and instead of shaming me or saying anything negative he just laid out a plan for what we needed to get done and we got me scheduled in for my 4 (ugh) fillings. The cleaning was intense as it had been awhile, but they do give you a choice of numbing options which is pretty cool. During that appointment as well the front desk staffer (sorry, I forget her name) showed me a very clear payment schedule and offered to do a payment plan which I didn’t need but it was nice to have the option. When I came back for the fillings the good doc was done faster than I would have believed and with the lightest touch. Even his Novocaine injection technique is amazing, as I practically felt nothing with the needle going in. He gave me a little break in between quadrants which was much appreciated, and even offered that I could come back another day if I wanted to split up the fillings. I was like, “No way man that was super quick and easy, let’s finish this!” I have never raved to my friends about a dental appointment before this–I think that says it all!

I just has my second visit with Dr. Delakyan at Toluca Dental Studio. He is so gentle with the drill that I actually fell asleep getting my cavity filled. He also did some bonding and other cosmetic work on me. I’ve had similar work done by others dentists in the past but I’ve never been nearly as pleased. It’s very difficult finding a dentist that not only does good work but one that you could trust. I have found that some dentists, like auto mechanics, want to charge you for work you do not need. I was so relieved that Dr. Delakyan did not try to SELL ME on anything. I highly reccomend Toluca Lake Dental.

I have been to different dentists and so I observed and compared. I am picky with my service, and my teeth are super sensitive, I am always afraid of dental work, to the degree that I had to hold someone’s hand and still cried… Until I met Dr. Delakyan. He makes me feel at ease, procedures and steps are always explained thoroughly, he takes his time to answer all the questions. Even when he is working on my teeth, he always makes sure to tell me what he is doing, how I may feel. There is no surprises and hidden costs, prices are explained, straight forward, reasonable, and very transparent. Most importantly, Dr. Delakyan does a great job on my teeth, there was no pain, no discomfort, he does not mind spending extra time working on my teeth until I was completely satisfied, he always asks how my teeth were feeling and never got annoyed if he had to repeat some of the steps just to make sure I’m 100% happy… the quality of his work is superior!! His assistant Stephanie is also awesome, the best dental assistant who deserves a shout out, she provides great quality service, makes sure I was comfortable, and explains everything thoroughly. When she works with Dr. Delakyan, she makes sure my mouth is clean, not over-dried, at all time. Dr. Delakyan is no doubt the BEST, I would recommend him to everyone. He is honest, caring, a man with integrity, great business ethics, he has a sense of humor, and calls me by my name, he even remembered how I met with my fiance. Lol, very sweet.

My brother kept urging me to visit Dr. Delakyan for my excruciating toothache, and I am more than happy he did! I don’t mind the whole process, I’m quite comfortable visiting the dentist, all I ask for is quality work and a professional / caring team — and received absolutely nothing less here! My tooth was in horrible (and I mean horrible) shape, bad enough that I was losing bone density in my jaw, and Dr. Delakyan made the procedure feel like a walk in the park. Dr. Delakyan is great. I visited him with a painful wisdom tooth and found out that I need to have it removed. I was initially hesitant of getting my tooth pulled because of the pain, but Dr. Delakyan and his assistant were very nice and assured me that it will be painless and I will not have anymore pain after. I took their word and went with the procedure and soon after they were done. After the numbing went away I thought I would be in really bad pain but I wasn’t. Wow. I can’t believe what I’m about to type, but I had a wonderful experience going to the dentist! I had avoided going to the dentist for YEARS because of my own fear and the tediousness of wasting hours. Obviously that didn’t happen here! Every single member of the staff is professional, understanding and genuinely nice. I think my favorite part is how on top of everything they are in this office. Any and every stigma/stereotype associated with dentists and dental offices in general is eradicated instantly at the hands of Dr. Delakyan and his exceptional staff. Like many, needles aren’t my most favorite thing ever, and when I found out I needed local anesthesia for a couple of my deeper cavities during my first visit, I was pretty nervous. However, he somehow managed to be so gentle and efficient at handling the syringe that I can honestly say, much to my delight, that I barely felt anything at all. Put simply, Dr. D. tells you just like it is. He explains everything he’s doing in great detail, gives as many options for treatment plans as he can, and does not pressure his patients into their decisions. There are no tricks, loopholes, or unexpected surprises with him, and it’s all done with a warm smile on his face. I can’t imagine that anyone wouldn’t overcome their dental phobia after just one visit with Dr. Delakyan. Definitely worth the commute!

In detail: I have been a patient with Dr. D and this team for about 1.5 years and am extremely pleased. I have done Invisalign, check ups, cleanings, x-rays, bruxism diagnosis, take-home-whitening trays, and 7 filings with them. The team: They have been wonderful every single time. Dr. D, Dr. J, and the hygienists have great chair-side manner and always help make the work as stress-free and comfortable as possible. They also always explain the pictures, x-rays, and procedures. I also really appreciate that someone on the team always calls a day or two after a procedure to followup and make sure I’m doing well. Also, really huge shoutout to Gabby at the front desk! She’s always a bright, knowledgable presence who makes sure patients are comfy and well-informed. She is an insurance expert and makes sure patients know exactly what insurance will/won’t cover and total cost of visits/procedure. She’s very patient and is always happy to explain how things are billed/charged to the insurance companies, for those curious about these intricacies. Office: Always clean and nice looking. The chairs in the waiting room are comfy. The dental chairs are also comfy and clean, and each room has a TV for patients who have to wait a bit for novocaine to take effect or trays to set, etc. So, once again, TDS is the best dental practice I’ve been to since I moved to LA! I plan to stay a patient for as long as possible. Thank you, TDS team!

I was referred to this dental office by both a close and another even closer friend. Besides the convenient location within walking distance, everyone from Gabby at the front desk, to Dr. D (my new FAVORITE dentist, btw) were PLEASANT, PATIENT, and PROFESSIONAL. Mind you, I went in for a bloody Root Canal Therapy treatment and was a wee bit apprehensive because I’ve had shoddy dental work done in the past, but my concerns immediately dissolved. I had to be seen for a series of appointments and during each visit was treated with consistent care. From the x-rays to consultation, from the dreaded drilling to follow up calls, the staff really took care of me. It eventually reached a point where Dr. D was so concerned with my comfort and checking in with me that I wanted to hug him and say, “Bro, chill. You’re doing great! Trust that I’ll tell you if I’m in any pain.” But that’s just the level of care and professionalism they practice here, and I’ve appreciated it every step of the way! If I had more hands I’d give more than two thumbs up. If I was allotted more stars in this universe then you all would get more than five. You get a referral! You get a referral! You all get referrals! Lastly, everyone feels pressure to donate to their alma mater but I say give back to your dentist, and your dentist should be Dr. D at TOLUCA DENTAL STUDIO!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Delakyan for about 4 years now. I can say without hesitation that he has been the best dentist I’ve ever had. His dental work is flawless and he will go above and beyond for his patients. Also, he is cost-conscious when making dental recommendations. Most recently, I have seen Dr. Ghookasian and she was amazing as well. She thoroughly explained all my options, encouraged me to reach out with questions, and personally called me after my procedure to see how I was doing. Dr. Delakyan, Dr. Ghookasian, and the entire Toluca Dental staff are all very welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, I will not be able to visit the office anymore as I’m moving to the east coast…maybe a 5 hour plane ride is not so bad! hehe

Dr. Delakyan is simply amazing. I was suffering from tooth pain and inflammation for days. I called the office and the Dr. told me to go in right away. He took care of my tooth, and I felt no pain during the procedure. He numbed me at first and he kept asking me if I was ok and made me feel super comfortable. I have to admit I was very nervious at first but within 5 minutes I felt relaxed and more confident. No one likes going to the dentist, it’s a scary thought, but I found my permanent dentis and I know I’ll be going back to him. Overall I had a great experiance and Dr. Delakyan is the best!

I used to hate going to the dentist until I found Toluca Dental Studio! I have had numerous visits with Dr. Delakyan within the past few years to get work done, including cleanings, crowns and four wisdom teeth removal with no pain! At each and every visit Dr. Delakyan has made me feel at ease. He is very personable and his expertise and knowledge in the field of dentistry is phenomenal. I always know I am getting the best treatment! I can’t finish this review without mentioning the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the office. The office itself is spotless and does not smell like a dental office. The staff is professional and was readily available to help me when I had any questions. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes! I can confidently say that I have my go to dentist for life!
