Dr Chen’s office is great! They have taken precaution in keeping their office safe during the Covid outbreak. Taking temperatures before exam and social distancing. I have four children who come to Dr Chen and we always have a great appointment. Dr. Chen and her staff take their time to inform you of issues and concerns that may arise and are great explaining to my kids the importance of their dental hygiene.

Dr. Toni Chen is great. She is really good with kids. She is very informative. The staff at the office is really nice too. We found out my 10 year old was not brushing properly and Dr. Chen took her time to show her the correct way of brushing. My kids really took her advice and is following all the instructions given. We have been seeing her for 10 years already. We started when my oldest was 6 months old. We also had an emergency visit on a day they were closed and they were able to accommodate us due to the injury my 3 year old had. We love Dr. Chen. I will be sad once my kids are older when they no longer need a pediatric dentist anymore.

Love Dr. Toni! She is always so amazing. She listens to my concerns and gives me suggestions to help with my children’s oral health. I have trusted her since I brought my first child to her at the age of two and she has continued to be just as wonderful with my 2nd and 3rd child. She is also fast. I always schedule all 3 of my children’s appointments at the same time and it takes us about 30-45 minutes for all 3 of my children to complete their check-ups (depends on how much I end up talking with her). My kids love her as well. She is kind and a very sweet ‘mom’ like figure to all 3 of my children. Even after we moved an hour away, I still make to commute to see her twice a year for my children’s check-ups. She is awesome and my kids actually like going to the dentist. That says a lot to me with just that.

Dr. Toni and staff are just so GREAT! They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. My 3 year old has been twice and has not shed a single tear. They really take the time to make your child feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this clinic to everyone. Dr. Toni will definitely be our daughters dentist for a very long time! At our first appointment Dr. Toni really took the time to get a thorough history and go over healthy habits and at follow up we got a good update. I like how they take the time to incorporate kids into being an important part of their own health care. They communicate everything they are doing as they are doing it which really takes away the fear and intimidation that can come with going the a doctor or dental visit.

This was my 2 y.o.’s first visit to the dentist. I was nervous because she cries and clings to me super hard for every doctor’s visit so I imagined the same with the dentist. Dr. Toni was awesome! We chatted about my concerns, answered questions, and gave me background knowledge about toddler teeth (without confusing me with jargon), and offered recommendations. While we chatted, my daughter played in their play area…and warmed up to the back space where she’d be getting her treatment. Today, dr. Toni did a demo brushing and gave her a fluoride treatment. Of course, my daughter cried and clung to me but it wasn’t bad at all. She stopped crying once Dr. Toni gave her her fluoride. Dr. Toni is super kid friendly; knows how to make a nervous mama feel calm and at ease. I’ve been raving about her all morning to my family and friends. She will be our primary dentist, for sure!

Dr. Toni and the her assistant Tim are the sweetest in the world. We came in around 8:30 am for my 4 yr old checkup, my daughter was so nervous and she would not open her mouth, luckily the assistant Tim ( Hope I got the name right) was very patient and gentle with her and got her teeth cleaned and polished. My daughter relaxed a little bit and let the doctor checked her teeth and took the x ray of her front teeth happily. Everyone in the office is very professional and nice, the office is clean and organized. Highly recommended!

I really enjoy this dental office that specializes in pediatrics. The office is calming and staff are nice. The office is clean. Dr Chen is super nice and takes her time with each patient. I really enjoy walking into her practice where it is calming. I have been to others where there may be a lot of patients waiting but its more chaotic and stress inducing and the wait time is long. Here you walk in and you are usually seen within 10 minutes.

I have 3 kids and they have been coming to Dr.Chen since for years now. She has a unique balance of amazing bedside manners and clinical knowledge. My kids are very comfortable with Dr.Chen and she motivates them to take care of their teeth in a very friendly way. She is also not overly aggressive in her recommendations you can tell that she treats all of her patients and families with respect and compassion (and not as dollar signs). We moved from the LA area to Irvine and we continued to come and see Dr.Chen. A few years ago we moved to the Princeton NJ and over winter and summer break we still bring the kids to see Dr.Chen. I’m sure there are other good pediatric dentist out there, but I haven’t found one in LA, Irvine, or Princeton that measures up to Dr.Chin.

My son has seen Dr. Aneri and my daughter has seen Dr. Toni. Both dentists and experiences were amazing. My son needed some fillings, an extraction and spacer put in with Dr. Aneri and she did so great with him. She made sure to make him feel comfortable which definitely kept him from being nervous or afraid. My daughter is 3 and autistic. So I was really worried as she has never been cooperative at the dentist before. Which actually put us off of trying to go again for a year. But after my son had a great experience here I figured we would give it a try. Dr. Toni and her assistant have been amazing with her. They have even worked out a schedule for us to do mini visits to get my daughter used to the routine of going to the dentist. They never push her with more than she can handle or is comfortable with. We really appreciate the consistency they’ve provided us with to make my daughter feel more comfortable. Highly recommend them for any kiddos who might have special needs or be anxious about going to the dentist.

I had been taking my children to another pediatric dentist who resides on the same street as Dr. Toni…I won’t say who that Dr. is… and noticed that the level of care had been dropping over the years. The warm & friendly family atmosphere from this family established practice was gone. I also noticed a drop-off in the level of care. So I decided to make a switch to Dr. Toni and I am so glad I did! Dr. Chen had found quite a few cavities and a chipped tooth in my son’s month. Her and her staff had presented the two different procedures that would best fit my son and his condition (he is on the spectrum), so I needed a team of people I can trust. They had coordinated the entire procedure with insurance, scheduling, arrange Dr. Stafford (the anesthesiologist), and checking up on my son’s health weeks before his procedure. They had made my son and myself felt very comfortable before, during, and post procedure. They understand how stressful it is for a parent to see their child get sedated, Dr Chen offered to have her staff pick up lunch for my mother and I which we thought was very thoughtful and we didn’t accept, but at the end of the procedure when we were waiting for my son to wake up, she personally went and got my mother and I lunch. That gesture was beyond what I would ever expect from a doctor. Her and her staff were amazing and Dr Stafford was a very informative and intelligent man who also works very well with kids, my son loves him, but will remember that he tricked him in getting a shot (which my son had claimed he poisoned him since he couldn’t remember what happened after getting a shot ☺️). In summary, I would highly recommend this exceptional team to take care of your child’s teeth. I thank my son’s pediatrician for referring Dr Chen to my son. And lastly, Dr Chen truly understands the behavior of kids. Her recommendation for my son was perfect! I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to the team!!!

My son was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, and is very sensitive and reserved about who touches his mouth. My two daughters have always had a good experience here. As much as they dread going to the dentist, they usually come out happy and relieved after seeing Dr Toni. My older daughter who is 8yo had her teeth pulled out but the laughing gas actually somehow calmed her down and she was not terrified as she was with her previous dentist who had traumatized her with painful injection to he gums to the point she never had her teeth cleaned since due to that incident. So transitioning to Dr Toni was a win for all of us. Overall, the staff is great and does not seem to overbook. We have not encountered any issues so far so we are very happy.

Cannot be more thankful for Dr. Toni today as she extracted out my son’s baby tooth. Dr. Toni’s office has good facilities to calm down the anxious kid (and myself) and the procedure went much smoother and quicker than I anticipated. Kid didn’t cry a bit even though he was awake the whole time and only his gums were numb. Dr. Toni even noticed my anxiety and shielded materials from me during the process. A good dentist is all you need during those moments.

I’ve been going to Dr. Toni for a few years now. With twins, I’m in and out every 3 month or so and everything my experience with the entire staff is positive. I see parents with little ones that are so well behaved, while my boys are always put in the “back” room. The team are really experience handling all personalities. I’ve also worked with Dr. Stafford a couple times, who is the anesthesiologists is also amazing. Dr. Toni would never recommend a treatment unless it is necessary. She also takes the conservative approach in all services.

I really recommend Dr. Toni to every parents. She’s awesome ! During our first visit we chatted about when should baby start going to dentist, how to brush their teeth and giving us a lots of knowledge on keeping my baby with healthy teeth and gum. She also demonstrated on how to brush her teeth and check out the toothbrush that I’m using for my daughter. She also gave us a toothbrush that she recommended. She’s super friendly to the kid and know how to comfort them. The staff are also amazing. One more thing to mention, She can speak mandarin.

After a traumatizing experience at another pediatric dental office we found Dr. Toni through my moms dentist. Dr. Toni is AMAZING and so is her staff. My son had to have some pretty extensive work done under sedation. Dr. Toni made my mom, my son, and I feel at ease with what was going to take place. She took her time to talk with us and show me the X-rays and detail what needed to happen. She worked so hard for over 3 hours and did an amazing job. Her sympathetic nature made me feel at home and safe to have my child under her care. I love that while he was in there everyone’s attention was on him. Doctor Toni is amazing! Our six year old has serious anxiety when it comes to doctors and dentists. After more than 6 visits with another pediatric dentist we hadn’t gotten anywhere. When my first child was 12 months old I took her in for her 1 year check-up at the pediatrician & during our check-up our pediatrician asked me if I had a pediatric dentist that I was going to take her to (since my daughter had all her baby teeth by 12 months old), I said no, I don’t know any in this area (since we had just moved to the area about 2 1/2 years prior). The pediatrician handed me about 6 pediatric dentists business cards & I thought “how am I going to choose between all of these & what if none of these dentists are what I’m looking for; what if they don’t meet my expectations, then what?” I shoved the cards in the diaper bag & didn’t think about it again until her 18 month check-up when our pediatrician asked me if I had picked a pediatric dentist yet. I said no. She said “you need to schedule her first check-up by age 2. Oh crap! Ok, I pulled out all those business cards from the depths of my diaper bag & started doing some research. One had good reviews but didn’t specialize in pediatric dentistry. Another had fairly good reviews but the reviews were such a mixed bag I knew I didn’t want to go with that dentist. On to the next one, to few reviews & not really any information on that dentist so I couldn’t be sure if they would be good or not. Next one looked like a nice facility, lots of patients, but,…. although the reviews were mostly good, I started to think that she (my daughter) would be just a number & not get the customized care that I wanted for her. Last card; I was starting to loose hope & I was worrying where should I start looking now, word of mouth, Google? I typed in her name Toni Chen, Pediatric Dentist…enter. Reviews were all 5 stars with great things to say about her & it didn’t look like she had SO MANY patients that we would just be one amongst the crowd. Humm, maybe this one will be good? I decided to call & make an appointment. First appointment was a few weeks out but that was fine with me. Finally, first appointment, & my husband came with me. We both loved her! She was patient, answered ALL of our questions, and was SO SWEET to our now 2 year old. She took her time with us & gave me tips to help with her daily teeth matinance/brushing. I was so happy when we left. Only issue was that we had to change our dental insurance but my husband said that wasn’t a problem. We now have 3 children & all 3 of my children now go to her (my youngest is scheduled for his 1st check-up)! We even moved 2 years ago about an hour to hour & a half away from her & I still don’t want to switch pediatric dentists. She is wonderful with all of my children & they love her too & I couldn’t be happier. I’m sure you will love her too!

Our daughter has been a client of Dr. Toni for seven years, since she was three years old. She has always treated our little girl as if she were family, and we couldn’t be happier with her. She is exceedingly capable, professional, and puts the children at ease.
