My daughter is 6 and had such a great experience! Dr. Patel was patient, kind, creative, welcoming, and made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease. I appreciated her use of imagination with my child and the way that she wasn’t afraid to be silly for the sake of making her less nervous.

I find this dentists office the best place to bring your kids! When you walk in you find it to be very clean, very friendly looking, and very comfortable. While your child is waiting, they can Entertain themselves by playing on one of the Tablets they have in the waiting room. The people at the front desk are very friendly. When you walk into the dentists office you notice that it is very clean, and very friendly looking as well! The dentists are very professional, and kind. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Your young child can also watch something on the small TV hanging above them when their teeth are getting worked on. Clean, friendly place, peak entertainment for your kids, friendly staff and dentists, and professional dentists, all make a great dentists office.

Dr. Patel is very thorough, patient and practical. She took time and care to examine my son and shared useful advice afterward. She’s great with kids and really understands the incidents and accidents that can happen to toddlers as well as how to address the myriad of dental concerns arising from them. I highly recommend her! I brought my daughter here first at the age of 3 after a stressful experience at another pediatric dental office and had a great experience. We have been coming twice a year since (my daughter is now 6) and it’s just great. Dr. Vanessa hits just the right balance to my mind of making sure there are no real dental issues and doing a good cleaning, and giving a child a relaxed experience and positive associations with going to the dentist. She asks thorough questions and gives good guidance to you as a parent as well. I also really appreciate that it’s possible to schedule appointments via ZocDoc, which is so much better for finding a convenient time than trying to do it over the phone. The office waiting room is set up well, and my daughter would love a chance to spend more time in it, but we’ve never had more than a 5 minute wait. (We arrive on time.)

This was the best dentist experience my daughters (or I, for that matter) have ever had. Dr Vanessa is a lovely pediatric dentist who made them feel completely at ease (so much so that my four-year-old was having a hard time saying goodbye). The practice is new and child-friendly, with cute pictures on the walls, TVs above the reclining chairs, pint-size furniture in the waiting area, and some educational toys to help explain brushing. A wonderful experience!!!

Dr Patel is INCREDIBLE, with a capital “I”. Highly recommend. The office is clean and friendly with books and iPads to occupy yourselves with while you wait, and mounted horizontal flat screens above the chairs for the kids to watch while they get their teeth cleaned. We see Dr Patel, who is extremely sweet, amazing with kids, and her bedside manner could not improve– it’s impeccable. She spends loads of time with you on your visits, explaining what she’s doing, taking her time, and answering questions. She even really acknowledges the kids and shows interest in them, chatting with them. She laughs and is kind and genuine is VERY knowledge in her field, obviously the most important part. I highly recommend her to everyone I know now. I now offer you this story, to prove her competency and actual dental work expertise…. Early on my sugar free, processed food free, juice free, breasted & solid eating 14m old son developed these black spots on his two front teeth, which is when I first scheduled to bring him in to be seen, but by another place– Twinkle Dentist. The doctor there, Emilie, basically said there was nothing to be done but sustain their current state in hopes it doesn’t worsen, but they were uncleanable, and unfixable. I of course asked a million questions about it and what it was, but she had no real answers for me. Just staining that couldn’t be removed. Seemed so weird to me. After my switch to Tooth Works, my son walked out with the spots virtually gone! Dr Patel explained *exactly* what it was, and buffed them clean!! Because the nature of the pockets where the discoloration was, she couldn’t get it 100% white again, but unless you stared up close you couldn’t even see it anymore. (Whereas before you would notice simply when he smiled– it looked like he had something stuck in his teeth, or had just eaten chocolate or something!). I was in shock. And so happy. She gave me instructions on an above average brushing regime and said as long as I maintained it diligently (and of course continued his sugar free diet), that it should absolutely not come back. And I have and it hasn’t. He’s now 4 years old and his teeth are beautiful and white. I don’t know what Emilie at Twinkle Dentist was doing, or why she failed to have a clue a) what it was and b) how to clean (or even that it was cleanable), but the fact is, she essentially provided no service to me whatsoever. I’m so happy I am now Tooth Works and highly recommend Patel’s expertise.

Love this place. My 9 year old has been coming here at least four or five years. Dr. Vanessa is a gem. My daughter could not be happier. Thankfully, she has had perfect checkups.  Dr. Patel took care of my daughter for an emergency when she fell and injured her primary tooth when she was younger. Yesterday, while playing in the park, my daughter unfortunately had an accident and broke her front permanent tooth. I was immediately given an appointment to bring her in to see Dr. Mallory. Dr. Mallory and dental assistant Abigail were the best! My daughter was very scared and anxious about the accident and the treatment until they spoke with her. They were gentle and caring making sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the treatment and restoring of her tooth. As a very anal and protective mom, I have been very pleased with the care my daughter has received from all the dentists and staff.

My 5 year old daughter loves Dr. Patel. She’s been a patient of Dr. Patel for 2 years now and she looks forward to her bi-annual check-ups. Dr. Patel is very warm and sweet and knows very well how to make children comfortable in her office. She explains to children everything that she will do before she does it and she does so, on the child’s level so when she starts the bristle machine to clean teeth, the child won’t panic or be scared of what’s happening. She definitely has a great way with children and we love her very much and feel grateful that she has made the dental visits experience very positive for our daughter. We highly recommend her and her office. Everyone there is super sweet and nice and the office is very much child friendly.

Dr. Sejal Patel is a truly wonderful pediatric dentist. My son immediately felt so comfortable with her on his first visit that he never raised a fuss when she cleaned his teeth. She has a very natural and fun approach when interacting with children, and her staff are wonderful as well. My three year old son actually looks forward to getting his teeth cleaned.

Wow, ToothWorks is GREAT at what they do. Took my 2 year old daughter here for her first dentist appointment and she left smiling and proud. The staff explain everything that’s going to happen on a stuffed dinosaur and my daughter felt completely at ease with the process. They also have TV’s above the dental chair. I live in a different neighborhood but it was well worth the travel. Highly recommended.
