I took my 21mo daughter for her first dentist visit yesterday and I LOVED this place. The visit was very quick, no wait time at all. I drove up and called to let them know I was there, they told us to head right in, took both mine and my daughter’s temperature (and the lady doing it was very welcoming and sweet to my daughter, who is not used to being pointed at with a temperature reader  They asked us to wait by the fish tank which my daughter was amazed by, and we were brought into a waiting room within 5 minutes. I wish I remembered the name of the dental assistant, she was probably the best part of the visit! She was very informative, honestly with everything going on not only in the world but also in my life right now I didn’t even think to come up with a list of questions for the visit, but she answered any I would have had! She gave me a demonstration on how to brush my daughter’s teeth, didn’t guilt me about us still using a soft sippy bottle before bedtime as long as we’re brushing her teeth right after, and paid so much attention to my daughter that she ended up getting so comfortable around her and following her around as she prepped the room for the dentist to do the check-up. Dr. Spaulding was also very informative, carefully checked my daughter’s teeth and dealt with her being a biter (what toddler isn’t ) very well, and went over how to care for her teeth again. And then we were out! Short and sweet! And my daughter walked out with a brushing goodie bag, some stickers and an adorable rubber ducky ready to brush his teeth  Scheduling the appointment was also a breeze, and they sent all the forms electronically so I could complete them prior to our visit, which is so convenient! They also sent several reminders of the visit so which was nice because it’s so hard to keep up with everything these days. Anyway, yes, 5, 6, 7 stars for tpdo!

Dr. Spaulding and his team are outstanding. They are very thorough and always will to answer my questions. They are so kind with the kids and their parents. We are always brought back on time and never feel rushed. You know they are good when your kid is excited about going to the dentist. Hats off to Dr. Spaulding and the whole team.

This was our first time here and I can say that we had a great experience. My son is 3 years old and was pretty scared about sitting on the dentist chair and having anyone look or touch his mouth. That’s when the dentist assistant started explaining patiently to my son how everything would work and also made it playful and fun. After a few minutes, he was cooperative and dr. Spaulding was able to do everything that he needed to do. Now, on a different appointment, I took my daughter who happens to have Down syndrome for her regular check up. She is even less cooperative than my son when it comes to people being on her face. Dr. Spaulding had to come up with a different tactic for her. Basically, me and 3 other people held her down, but again, Dr. Spaulding was able to check her and do what he needed to do. We agreed that we would schedule appointments every 3 Months in the hopes that she gets used to the people and the dentist office. They also offer, we can come anytime just to say hi, so she gets more familiar with everything. I think we had successful appointments overall and we will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to people with typical and non typical children.

Its a very nice dental and clean office very friendly with kids, I had an excellent experience my daughter and I were so nervous, I had looked for a dentis in plenty of places and couldn’t find the right one, until I found Torrance Pediatric Dentistry, and the staff is wonderful I got the help my daughter needed, I am so thankful with the staff and Dr. Spaulding he is amazing, we found the right help, with a short wait. Will recommend for sure if you are looking for a good quality dental office will sure recommend this dental office for sure all yor questions will be answered.

Parents I understand  how it is, taking your little  ones to the dentist  for the first  time, it  can be scary  for you as much as it is for the little  ones. But I can honestly  tell you we had and amazing  experience  from the from desk to the tech to the dentist. I have a 2 1/2 little  boy  who is not to happy so see adults  in white  coats.  There are toys in  the waiting  area  that helps ease the uneasiness of your children. We were called by the tech who asked questions  regarding  brushing  routine  of the baby.. then the dentist  came in explained  what he was going  to do checked  the baby’s  teeth  flossed his little  teeth  and gave us good news  that he had no cavities.  At the end he was given  a choice to  pick a toy.  He was happy  and we were too.

What a great dental office!  The office staff was very friendly. We were greatly surprised by a welcome sign for my children at our first appointment. The office ran on time. The hygienists taught told us the problem areas on the children’s teeth that we could work on.  The dentist, Dr. Spaulding, was knowledgable and great with the kids!  Very importantly, he is a pediatric dental specialist and not a general dentist.  I felt so comfortable following his advice and know he will help to keep my children’s teeth healthy.  I give Dr. Spaulding and his office 5 stars!!! I would definitely recommend him to others!  I am super excited and happy to have found a great dental office for my children!!! Addendum — we have been seeing Dr. Spaulding now for a while and still love this practice!  I recommend it to all my friends!

I took my 17 month old daughter for her first appointment with Dr. Spaulding. I walked into the office and the waiting room was very clean and new. They even have a fish tank to entertain kids. We were taken back to a room pretty close to our appointment time, which I feel is helpful with a squirmy toddler. We were welcomed into a room where we went over my daughters health/oral history and what to expect during the visit. Dr. Spaulding and his staff helped put my daughter at ease. He’s a kind and gentle man and took time to explain everything thoroughly. We look forward to coming back.

Our daughter turned 3 last month, so we figured it was time to take her for her first dental appointment. After searching Yelp for reviews on pediatric dentist in the area, we chose to have our daughters first visit with Dr. Spaulding. The office was so clean and bright, and the front office staff were so pleasant and professional. Our daughter did so well in the chair and even while having X-rays done.  The RDA’s Markie and John were so good with our daughter.  Dr. Spaulding was gentle and pleasant, explained and answered all of our questions in detail. Overall with are extremely happy and pleased with choosing this office. Our daughters first dental visit was an extremely pleasant and memorable one! Thank you Dr. Spaulding and staff !

The dental hygienist, John, was great working with my amazing non verbal Autistic daughter to polish her teeth. She arrived at the office crying but he had her laughing at her teeth being tickled with the buzzing polisher tool in no time. Dr. Spalding is wonderful and looked over her teeth with his mirror and she did not bite down. They gave her a toy at the end of the visit and have me a goodie bag with dental treats, like a new toothbrush and kids toothpaste. The front office staff did a nice job with Halloween decorations, as well. Thank you for making us feel comfortable. I recommend you to all my friends with kids.

Maritza (the lady up front) was very kind and patient when explaining the prices and the breakdown of payments to work with my pay. Dr. Spaulding was really nice and explained everything to my son and I in words that we both understood but didn’t terrify him. I was more nervous about his visit than he was. My son went in with a smile and left with a smile. The staff is great! We have definitely found the dentist for us!

No words can explain how thankful I am with the all the staff and doctors in this office. I called them today to ask if they can see my daughter because of a trauma in her front teeth and they saw her today. The doctor explained in detail the problem is and recommended a solution… tooth extraction. I asked if they have time today or we need to come back on the next opening and they did the extraction today. Also my daughter had a cut in her upper chin and the doctor took care of it too! (we were at the urgent care earlier bec if the same problem but the doctor there didn’t addressed it) If you are looking for a great and a compassionate dental office, you guys should make an appointment here. (I was so stressed earlier that I forgot the doctor’s name and the staff that helped us.

I was very nervous about my child’s first dentist visit since she hates doctor visits already… reading all the horrible reviews from other dentists didn’t make it easier…but this was such a GREAT experience; my child felt comfortable from the very beginning. Staff is amazing and made sure to have things to make my baby feel at ease from the moment we walked in. I definitely recommend them. John explained everything in detail as to how to properly care for my baby’s teeth. Again GREAT experience!!

This the best Dentist ever for kids! I love them! On Sunday my son noticed he had something on his Gum and I took a look and took a picture I had no idea what it was. I emailed the office and about 35min to 45mins later I got an email saying that they got my email and that they would call me monday morning. Monday morning came I got an email saying that they had an opening that morning around 9am. I was unable to make it so we set it up for Friday. Friday came my son and I went and the staff is always so nice and helpful. My son was a little scared and after talking him into the chair the assistant offered my son a blanket to make him more comfortable in the chair. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they talk to kids a very nice tone and In a way so the lids also understand. This place is great! I love it!

I am very satisfied with the quality of care that Dr. Spaulding and his team provided to my son.  My son is only 3 years old and he absolutely loves it when he has to come in for his gum cleaning every 6 months or so. On top of that, Dr. Spaulding is very prompt is responding to any questions or concerns that I had.  There were a couple of times where I left a voicemail or sending him emails asking him questions, and he responded within 24-48 hours.  Typically, he would call you directly on the phone number you provided him with and usually after business hours – which worked great for me. I definitely recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a dentist for their little ones.  I will also bring in my daughter to him once she’s old enough.

No words can explain how thankful we are to Dr. Spaulding and the wonderful staff for today. My daughters and I were having fun singing and dancing when my older daughter tripped and hit her mouth at the edge of the coffee table. I rushed her to the urgent care and was recommended that we see a dentist to check her tooth out. I got my phone and searched “pediatric dentist near me”. I called this office, explained the problem and with no hesitation the receptionist said to come and they will see us. What a relief! Dr. Spaulding explained in detail the issue and the solution and he even took care of my daughter’s tiny cut on her bottom lip that the Urgent Care doc didn’t addressed. I am very happy that I found you guys, compassionate and amazing. Thank you very much.

Special thanks Dr. Spaulding and all assistants to make my 3-year-old son ‘s first dentist visit was so pleasant. He really enjoyed his time at your office. Thank you Dr. Mashni for taking good care of my son. I should have asked you for an extra shinny band-aid. He didn’t take his until the 3rd day. Lol. No single doubt, this is one of the top dental offices you ever want for your children.

Well I have said it before on yelp and will say it again! I found these guys years ago now – I discovered them after reading dozens of yelp reviews on pediatric dentists. Here we are 3 years down the line and they are more like friends. We have two kids in braces and one not. This means 3 monthly check ups with cleaning and 3-6 week orthos. I literally am here weekly. So much so I think my boss no longer believes that my kids have “another dentist appointment” point is …..I’m here a lot and these guys are incredible. We have literally recommended Dr Sepi (ortho) to EVERYONE. We lovd Dr Spaulding, Jon and staff for all the kids regular dentistry, -but on top of all of that ….. honestly…. the reception staff are the best! Maritza is my friend – genuinely they are not just admin / reception. They get it! We chat and they are all GREAT women.  Join this dental practice they are without doubt the best in the South Bay!

My six year old had a dental emergency he was in so much pain ,I called Dr Spaudling office and requested to be seen immediately I was thinking I will have to wait for a day or two as told by pervious dentist but stafff here was amazing they immediately accommodated us realizing the emergency.Their office is  well maintained extremely kids friendly.Staff too is extremely helpful and very courteous.Doctor Spaulding was amazing.  Absolutely keeping his little patients comfort a top priority and making sure they want to come back to the office again.I am my guardian angel guided me to the right place.

My kids love this dentist! We went there as new about a month ago to review and orthodontics, and the staff is GREAT with the kids, they have a waiting room for kids to play even with tablets! Then you go in and my kids loved it because they can watch movies during the visit and treatment and also, i have 2 and both go on chair next one to eachother so they feel more confident because of it. They also gived them toys and tooth paste and brush and teach them how to properly clean their teeth and they LOVE to go to the dentists. They go super happy to the visit! even the treatment! its an awesome clinic!

First time going with my 3 year old son Levi , he was extremely entertained with their children’s play area. Once inside he was a little restless due to nap time arriving but the staff here were very caring and patience. He was far to fussy to sit in the chair so they had him sit in my lap and lean back onto a pillow which I LOVED. Of course he hollered the whole time lol but the dentist didn’t mind !! He completely the exam quickly and effectively. He was then rewarded with a toy and ballon and I was educated more on brushing and the health of his overall teeth. Very happy will be back in 6 months.

We had our first visit with Dr. Spaulding and it went really well. My 15 month old daughter felt comfortable with Dr. Spaulding and had a great experience. He addressed all my questions and concerns. The office is modern and fun, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. We look forward to our next visit

Our three children, since ages 8, 9, and 14, have been with TPDO since 2016, including 2 kids (so far) receiving orthodontic care–and now my wife and I are both starting orthodontic care. We have RARELY had to wait more than a few minutes for either dental or ortho–and that is only when I take all three kids at the same time. Their lounge has a little coffee machine, comfortable chairs and couches and cool kids’ area with animated films playing. Of course the aquarium is pleasant to look at too. They take care of all the insurance work and show up front any expected charges before any procedures. Doctors, hygienists, and front desk staff are all professional and always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend TPDO.  All positive experiences.
