I was in a lot of pain and I called Torrington dental care. They gave me an appointment right away. First I met the assistant named Heather who was very friendly!! Then Dr Graicerstein came in, I told her I was in a lot of pain and I was very nervous. She started off joking around with me and immediately I felt relaxed. She is very friendly and professional. She treated me the same day and by next day I was better then new!! I highly recommend her to anybody who is looking for a great dentist . Highly recommended

My experience with Torrington Dental Care was amazing. I don’t know anyone who likes going to the dentist. I’m a changed person. Anxiety about the appointment was high. Walked in and immediately greeted with a smile. The girls working the desk are thorough, kind and caring. I saw Lori. Incredible! Explained everything prior and so very patient. The Dentist is wonderful. She’s got a great chair side manner. I’ve recommended someone already to go see these guys.

This is the best dental care I’ve ever received. From a patient perspective the team seems like a well oiled machine. I’ve never been left waiting more than 5 minutes and every procedure has been quick and painless as possible. Prior to this experience it had been 10-15 years since I’d see a dentist and I was met with compassion and understanding right from the get go. The transition to Dr. Graicerstein has been seamless, you would think that she’d been working with the hygienists for years. (I’ve worked with Heather and Christine and these two -in conjunction with the rest of the team- are so kind, gentle and have really relieved my anxiety about going to the dentist!!!) Beyond the actual dental care, it’s impossible to miss an appointment with the reminder texts and phone calls. When I arrive, check in staff is quick to greet and complete a COVID screening right when I walk in the door. I feel very safe, everyone’s properly wearing PPE and even the patient pens are sanitized between use, waiting room seats are distanced, and it is very clean!! Lastly, the office manager is seriously on top of her game! She has been wonderful helping me figure out the financial piece of all this, making sure I get the most out of my benefits with the smallest possible out of pocket costs…and again, so friendly and open to answering any questions I have. Overall, I feel well cared for and feel as though this team truly has my best interest in mind at every stage of the process! Thank you all so much for your hard work, especially during these trying times! I never write reviews, I’m genuinely moved by the compassion you all have shown me!!

On our local radio recently there has been an ad about how “everybody hates the dentist.” I always laugh when I hear it, because I truly love the dentist. The 2 hours or so I spend in Gayle’s chair for my cleaning each year, are really very enjoyable. Gayle is always so friendly (as is the rest of the staff) and I love sharing “adventures” with her. I always look forward to my appointments and I know that I will have a good experience. I am probably one of the world’s most impatient people and I can’t think of even one time that I’ve ever had to wait for more than 5 or 10 minutes- tops!. The office always somehow seems to run on time, which I can’t say about any of my other health care providers. 🙂 If you are looking for a great dentist in the Torrington area, with caring staff that always seems to be up on the newest dental gadgets, I very highly recommend Torrington Dental Care.

I am extremely impressed. My experience with Dr. Virginia Graicerstein and staff has been excellent. She has some very impressive credentials. They were very accommodating to me in my power wheelchair. I was able to move it in their Exam/Procedure Room for a long overdue process of replacing 2 Crowns. I expected some degree of pain But there was absolutely No pain at all! I could not believe it! They both took note of how comfortable I was in my wheelchair during the whole procedure! I left feeling very well cared for! Very Highly recommended!

I was having unbearable pain on the right side of my mouth. Even though I hate going to the dentist, I couldn’t take it anymore. I called Torrington Dental and explained what I was going through. They told me to come in right away and they would fit me in the schedule. I was so nervous my palms were sweating. Dr. Graicerstein came in and immediately calmed me down with humor, compassion and professionalism. I ended up needing a root canal and crown. It was a great experience. She explained everything she was doing during the procedures. I didn’t feel any pain during the whole process. I am now better than new. Special thanks to Dr. Graicerstein and her super friendly and caring staff. I highly recommend this office! 5 Stars

I have been going to Torrington Dental Care for many years. My parents use their services as well. Everyone at the office is very friendly and knowledgeable. Appointments for any service they provide are fast and efficient.No long waiting times. They also give excellent references if a patient is in need of a service they can’t provide.
