Now I’ve always been one to run from the dentist because let’s face it I can’t take pain!!! I was referred to Dr Kajah by his wife who is absolutely amazing as well! They got me in for a emergency appt for these wisdom teeth (yes all 4)  The ladies were all kind and patient and so great with scheduling and trying to help find a referral to a oral surgeon. But let me brag on Margarita because she went above and beyond her job duties to comfort and reassure me that what I needed could me done right in the office and that they would take care of me. She explained the process and what could be done. She stayed on the phone with me and didn’t rush me off. Answered every question that I had. So thank you for that. I can not speak highly enough of Dr Kajah. I’ve had 2 appts so far and he is so patient. He takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer any questions that you may have. He has treatment plans that are affordable with and without insurance. My dental Journey is far from over but I’m glad I found a place that fits my needs!

I had my first appointment here a couple of weeks ago after nearly a decade of not going to the dentist. I have avoided going to the dentist because of a couple poor experiences earlier in life. Dr. Khaja and the entire staff at Total Health Dental have made me feel welcome and comfortable. They are friendly and a class act! I have had some serious dental work done in a number of other offices in my life (root canals, extractions, etc.) and I can say without a doubt that this is the best dentist I’ve been to! Communication is top notch. All staff members express a sincere interest in providing patients with a positive experience. Dr. Khaja called to check on me the day after I had a root canal. My experience has been tremendous and has led me to look forward to improving my overall dental care and health, rather than actively avoiding it. I highly recommend!!!

I love Doc and his staff!! They are literally like family! I’m such a baby when it comes to the dentist. I’m so scared of the dentist. But he makes me feel so much better. The girls are also so patient with me and don’t make fun of me! ( until I leave probably) Just kidding! They are hands down the best dentist and I’ve had a few, but he will definitely be my last! Thanks Doc! I had to come back and mention he is amazing with my four children. I also just got my Invisalign and it’s amazing!!! You guys look no further Doc is the one for you!

Doc is amazing! I am terrified of the dentist and he always gets me through it! He is so patient with us all, and we are pretty difficult with our fear of the dentist. He is great with my 4 kids and my Husband, he the biggest handful. I would recommend Dr Kaija to everyone! He is amazing and the staff is great as well! All of them are so welcoming and friendly! You feel like your walking into family soon as you hit the door! They are going above and beyond with precautions of the virus. Checks temperature at the door, mask, 6 feet. Everyone who is in need of a doc look no further here he is!

Dr. Khaja and his team are super professional and personable. They make me feel like family and I’m very comfortable in their care. I trust Dr. Khaja. He cares about what best for you, the patient. He’s very thorough. He creates very clear and accurate care plans. He’s interested in your health not production or pushing a treatment plan. Dr. Khaja also works hand in hand with specialists for the most comprehensive yet affordable plans. I actually look forward to my dental visits and we all know that’s saying A LOT. Today I had the best experience in getting a cleaning. (Just one of the many things I’m having done.) I’m no longer apprehensive about dental visits because of Dr. Khaja and his team. I’m going to take my entire family to his office.

It’s really the best dentist I’ve ever been to. His staff is extremely thorough. After being a patient in his office for the last few years I realize what a true dental cleaning and dental care is compared to what I have had in the last several decades. Strongly recommend

I highly recommend! I’m not one to take the time to provide recommendations.  However, I was so compelled to do one here.  I have one of the worst phobias when it comes to a dentist.  So severe I hadn’t gone in over 4 years.  After a year of building up the courage and then doing extensive research, I chose Dr. Khaja Mohsinuddin and Total Health Dentistry.  Every single person in that office was fantastic, patient with me, and went far beyond the call of duty to make me comfortable.  Dr. Khaja Mahsinuddin and Margarita, were amazing, accommodating, and truly cared not only about my dental health, but me as a person.  Beautiful new office, clean with all the amenities to keep any patient comfortable and provide a one-stop shop to handle any needs.  My phobia has been chipped away, and I’m now on a good path to go every six months as I should.

Dr. Khaja and his staff are great to work with.  Marguerite is always so helpful with any questions we may have and his dental assistants always explain the procedures along the way.  We have been going to him for over 5 years and my family doesn’t mind going to the dentist at all anymore.  They care about our overall health and any concerns we may have.

I don’t often write positive reviews for businesses but this is one that is WAY overdue. With 4 kids, busy schedules and a tight budget, Total Health Dental and it’s employees (past and present) have done nothing but impressed time and time again. Over 6 years ago, I became a patient of Dr. Khaja, and have since referred my father, my partner, our 4 children, and at least 3 families in the neighborhood who all have children as well. Until i was about 30 years old, I had nothing but stressful, horrible, painful, expensive experiences with dentists in Aurora, Naperville, Waukegan, and Woodridge. I remember thinking that the agony associated with dentistry is just an unavoidable truth in life and finally understood why my dad had not even gone to the dentist in 10 years despite having high quality dental insurance through his electrical union. Well, its been almost 7 years and I have to say that Dr. Khaja and his consistently picked team of upbeat, positive, understanding, knowledgeable employees made “total” believers out of not only my dad and I, but also the many parents and children we referred here in the Churchill subdivision of Oswego. My dad had extensive work done to his lowers and a full replacement of his uppers. He shopped around and priced out many others only to realize in the end that Dr Khaja would use higher quality product and a step by step strategy at a price that was 1000’s less than the next Dentist. After years of a mouth with pain and poor aesthetics, his teeth looked absolutely original and perfect and not abnormally bright like the places that offer a new mouth for 30-50k and have you coming out like you’re headed to Hollywood. We could not have been more pleased. As for me, Dr. Khaja has always stood behind his work. Him and every dental assistant that has ever worked on me has been sure-handed, pleasant to talk to, efficient with time, and great at demonstrating/relating a strategy behind what needs to be done on a daily basis based off what they are seeing. When money is tight, they have never been pushy or sales oriented. It is obvious that the focus is more on the customer satisfaction and customer health above and beyond everything else. Also, they are 10/10 when it comes to kids and relaying the message of consistency and daily dental duties. We saw a remarkable attitude change in our children after taking them to a team that knew how to get the message across with positivity and encouragement rather than intimidation and finger pointing. As if that isn’t enough to make a switch if you’re not happy with your current dentist or if you don’t have a dentist, I have to mention a couple other random points. 1.) I can’t emphasize enough how soft/sure-handed and smooth every experience I have had at Total Health. I have high sensitivity in my eyes, I’m a mouth breather, my lips dry and crack easily and my gums/nerves/teeth were always given multiple doses of local anesthetic to have work done at previous dentists. After telling Dr. Khaja this on my first visit, I have not had even ONE problem or painful experience. If ever there was even a tiny bit of discomfort, he would stop, reassess, and fix the problem. 2.) On my children’s account, one of the front counter employees saw that our insurance company had not paid correctly over a few months, took the time to call and plead in our defense. We did not see the problem and we did not even tell her to check on it but the next time we came in, we had around 1000 dollars in credit that we used the rest of the year. Other businesses may have not spotted the mistake, would not have taken the time and aggravation to try and help, and even it they did, who’s to say it would even make it back to our account as a credit. 3.) My front tooth cracked in 6th grade on a hockey post. Its cracked in such a way that over the years it would break about every two years. After going to Dr. Khaja, it only broke once more, the color match perfectly, and when it did break, he charged only his own expenses instead of full price. A++++++

I went in for a root canal. It was my first time here. Everyone was friendly. I was comforted throughout the procedure and the dental team was very patient with me. They told me what they were doing every step of the way. Although the pain of a root canal is always present, I was in pain for a few hours and by bed time, it was pretty much gone. Good job!

I think I am like a lot of people out there that ABSOLUTELY hate going to the dentist.  Well I must say from the minute I walked into the office it was a wonderful experience.  I office staff is extremely polite and helpful and the hygienists are very thorough and take their time with the work they do.  Dr. Khaja truely cares about your individual needs.  What a wonderful overall experience for my family.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding dental care. This is the place for you!!!!

The entire team at Total Health Dental goes above and beyond to make “going to the dentist” a pleasant experience. From routine cleanings, to other…. not-so-routine dental work…we’ve never had to worry about the quality and care we would receive at Total Health Dental. Our entire family has gone here for years, and we would never consider another dentist. Wonderful dentist and wonderful staff!

I love Total Health Dental. I used to live in Aurora when I started going there. I moved out to Sycamore several years ago, but cannot fathom going anywhere else. Dr. Kaja and his staff are truly amazing people. They are so friendly and always courteous. I love that Total Health Dental takes into consideration the whole body and not just the mouth. I will never go anywhere else!

I usually don’t like going to the dentist at all but I do not mind going to Total Health Dental. They are very nice there and do a great job with cleanings and any other dental work you may need. Very pain free! They teach you how to take care of your teeth. Your children will not mind going to Total Health Dental!!! My brothers and sisters and I all agree they are a great dental office!

Went there on April 13th for my scheduled cleaning and was very satisfied with the overall care I received. Vanessa (Hygienist) was very knowledgeable and explained everything what she was doing. Dr. Khaja was there for the check up and was very thorough, as always. Keep up the great work, THD Team! Will see you in August.

I would recommend Total Health Dental to everybody if I could!!! Dr KHAJA and his office staff have a great way of making you feel comfortable from the moment you make your first call to the moment you are walking out the door. I never knew our Dental health was so important until finding this office. Very informative, caring, and passionate staff in this office. I felt like they were really trying to help me stay healthy overall and that’s a great feeling. Lets face it nobody wants to go the dentist right?!!!. I actually don’t dread going to the dentist anymore thanks to Dr. KHAJA and his staff. They have become my new family.

Our family has been coming to Dr. Khaja since the day they opened. Even though we moved to Florida, we make appointments when visiting Chicago so they can take care of us. This trip I had to get a cap replaced and the kids needed cleaning. They accommodated all of us and we were in and out. Everyone on his team is so kind and personable. Amazing office and staff! Thank you all for taking such great care of the our family! Professional, compassionate, talented, knowledgeable, and wonderful people in general!
