I’ve been to Tranquil Dentistry two times for cleanings thus far and not only was it painless, but I really enjoyed my experiences! When you walk in the office feels more like a spa than a dental office. The front desk lady was friendly and called me by name. There hasn’t been a wait either time. The dental chairs massage you and you can watch tv the whole time. The technology in the office is also state of the art. What I was most impressed with though was Dr. Savage. She explained everything the was doing to me as she did it and why she was doing it. I told her that my old dentist office made me have fluoride each time and she explained that that wasn’t necessary. It would have been very easy for her to upcharge me since I was already used to having that service each time. It’s so nice to finally have a dentist that I can trust and know is taking great care of me.

When I was looking for a dentist in Charlotte, NC covered by my insurance- I honestly didn’t know where to begin. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this office! Everyone here is professional,easy to work with and the office itself puts you at peace of mind. Though I’ve since moved from Charlotte, I still highly recommend this office and I find myself missing this place all the way from Washington, D.C.!

I used to hate, HATE, going to the dentist. The pain, the drill – ugh. I’ve probably been through a dozen dentists in my lifetime. All were competent, but none were people I’d want to hang out with. That’s what makes this practice different. Dr. Savage and her staff actually make visiting the dentist an okay, almost enjoyable experience. It was very easy to make an appointment. Everyone is very friendly. Dr. Savage, the staff and I catch up when I go in for my visits. It’s like hanging out with the girlfriends for an hour, but without the wine. I’m still not thrilled about the drilling, but I’m no longer looking for excuses not to go.

If you value understanding your treatment and having an objective dentist *very* dedicated to staying up on all the newest technologies, trends and research in dentistry, look no further. Even though Tranquil was outside my insurance preferred network for the first couple years I went there, I stayed anyway because it’s sooo hard to find this level of excellence! This is as good as it gets. I love that the reviews for Tranquil are all either five star or one star and all the one stars are based on appointment making. In my experience, appointment making has been easy but I feel for the people having difficulty making first time appointments. As an existing patient, I am so impressed! It’s really difficult to find a dentist who is extremely intelligent and pragmatic about your health. Dr Savage is highly skilled, honest, clear and makes sure you understand all procedures and expected outcomes. Amazing

I cannot say enough awesome things about this office! I have had to see many dentists throughout the past 8-10 years and I FINALLY feel completely confident in this one. First and foremost, Dr. Savage is so great and knowledgable. It was the most pain-free treatment I’ve ever had- I didn’t even know she was numbing me until it was over! They also watched (shoutout to Ambrosia!) my two children (ages 1 and 3) for TWO HOURS in their special “nanny room” while I got my procedure done and my 3yo didn’t stop talking about how much fun she had at the dentist all day. What an amazing service to provide. Dr. Savage said, “we moms have to help each other out!” They also called to check on me the next day– very thoughtful and thorough. Aesthetically, I am also really pleased with the work done. I highly highly highly recommend this office- from start to finish, appointment booking all the way through. Thank you, team Tranquil!

WOW, WOW, WOW!
I have been looking for a new dentist since my childhood one could no longer work with me (the search has been a couple years). Anyways, I just happened to stumble upon this place – mostly because they accepted my insurance and it is not about half way from home to work. Everyone is super friendly and polite. The chairs that you sit in actually massage and help relax people! Doctor Savage (do not let her name fool you), was super nice and sweet. She answered all my questions I had for my teeth, and did not seem to be irritated that I was asking so many! Chelsea, I think that is her name, is the best! She explained exactly what she was doing and checked on my frequently during my cleaning. She even asked if I prefer music or television. She made going to the dentist almost enjoyable! I cannot wait to come back for my next cleaning!

These ladies are awesome! Very Professional, extremely competent and very caring. Your ease and comfort is a priority for them. The whole staff is open, friendly and courteous and office is state of the art. They explain everything and make sure you understand your treatment and options. Really great clean & modern dental office, the staff was amazing every step of the way! Dr. Savage was so thorough, explaining everything along the way and stopped often to make sure I was ok and not feeling any pain. I think my visit took extra long because I was so chatty, but I never felt rushed and the whole experience was extremely welcoming. Dr. Savage explained some treatment options, and I felt like a real person and not just a number. They even arranged for Kristin, the nanny, to watch my daughter while I had my teeth cleaned (in a chair that massaged and watching TV, Ahhh. More like a spa!) my daughter had so much fun with her new friend! It so easy to schedule an appointment, I called Monday afternoon and was seen first thing Wednesday morning. Carolyn, the front desk employee was so sweet every step of the way, between calls and emails and follow ups, she is so professional and kind. I have a feeling that i will have a long term relationship with Dr. Savage and staff for many years to come. Highly recommend this place!

I am from Charlotte and have been going to the same dentist for over 30 years. Upon his retiring I had to find a new dentist, a scary thought. My first visit to the new dentist did not end with good results. I needed to find someone quick. An acquaintance recommended Tranquil Family Dentistry. The staff was able to work me in fast and take care of my problem. I could not believe the amount of time Dr. Savage spent with me explaining and giving me my options. I was amazed at the office and equipment, but more with the knowledge, knowledge that they share with you. I look forward to my next visit.

From the day I was born I visited the same dentist up until about 2 years ago when I relocated to Charlotte. I’m very passionate about my teeth and was terrified about finding a new dentist. However, I feel so lucky that my path crossed with Tranquil! Today I had my 3rd regular check-up with Dr. Grace Savage and the wonderful hygienist, Beth. I felt it was about time I write a review as I am not only passionate about my teeth, but now I am passionate about the amazing team that is Tranquil Family Dentistry! (I have to say, too, that this office is absolutely stunning. A chair that gently massages your back is an incredibly calming touch, especially if anyone deals with dentist office anxiety.) When a patient visits TFD, they feel like they are truly being taken care of and that a trip to the dentist office isn’t what it used to be (take from that what you will). I tend to ask a lot of questions, and Beth was so thorough in answering every single one for me, and then some. She was also very patient with me. Dr. Savage is also a spirit that I can easily describe as sincere, encouraging, and passionate about what she does. If I ever have a concern she is willing to go the extra yard to put me at ease. The condition of my teeth have only improved since being a member of the Tranquil “family”.
