Let me start by saying that I have a severe phobia of Dental offices. I guess a few bad experiences as a kid and I’ve been wrecked for life. Before coming to see these guys I hadn’t been to the Dentist in 6 or 7 years. I found my way here after I broke my front tooth in half and the dentist I had previously seen said the best they could do was an appointment over a week later. I didn’t want to walk around for a week with half a front tooth. My wife comes here and so she called them to see what they could do for me. Sure enough, Dr Chin said I could come in and they’d squeeze me in. Great customer service. Like I said before I really dislike the dentist. I have always had a hard time with dental X-rays and find myself gagging to the point of vomiting during most attempts at X-rays. I explained my situation and they recommended using the Nitrous gas to help calm me down. For the first time ever, I can go in and have all my dental work done using the nitrous and no gagging or vomiting. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and they are awesome. Dr Chin is amazing. A great Dentist and he has a great personality as well. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I get here. I recommend this place to anyone that asks for a good dentist.

I used to live LA and moved to the bay to be with my husband. Dr. Chin has been my dentist for the past 15 years because he is nothing short of amazing. I am terrified of the dentist, but every time I visit my family, I also set a appoint to see him for my exams and cleanings. He really knows how to put me at ease. He always explains to you what he is going to do and/or what to expect. They have an amazing team with knowledgable hygienists and their staff are super kind and sweet. For as long as I can, I will continue to go see them.

This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to in my lifetime, and believe me, I have been to quite a few. I have been seeing Dr Chin for over 10 years and have had extensive work done there. The environment and staff there in the office are awesome! I was taken timely at Dr. Chins office. Daisey, the x-ray technician explained exactly what she was doing at all times. It was a very sophsticaed x-ray machine that I had never encountered and could of been intimidating if not explained properly. State of the art equipment. Office was immaculate and Dr. Chin took a long time explaining options that I had. His demeanor and professional made you feel comfortable. This is the first place that I felt very comfortable getting my teeth thoroughly cleaned! And Dr. Chin is amazing ! I and my family have been going to this dental office for many years. The people who work there are extremely friendly and polite and they take a caring interest in how you and your family are doing, how’s work going and life in general. This care is from the women in the front office. the hygienist and of course the dentist too. The office has been newly remodeled and they use the latest technology such as having them take impressions of your mouth them imputing them into the computer then a machine makes your new crown right in the office. Before you leave your new crown is has been installed. So, with 5 stars I highly recommend Tri-City Dental Care of Cerritos!

Consider this my family dental provider. I started coming here because my late uncle, my aunt and other uncle, some cousins, and my grandmother comes here. I started coming to Fran and Dr. Chin because my last experience with other dentist have made me super scared and have definitely scarred me for life. I joined the office about 1 year ago after trying few different dental offices. I needed major dental work and I was getting desperate about finding a dentist that will take the time to explain the details, find solutions to my problems, coordinate with my dental specialists etc… Dr. Andrew Chin and his staff did just that and for the first time in years a got some hope. My wife Rose and I have been patients at this dental office for about 33 years; my son and daughter from the time they started dental care. We first started seeing Dr. Jen Kin in 1980 to correct some bad dental works done by another dentist. Eventually, we also get to see Dr. Miyasaki and Dr. Chin after they joined the Group. All three are highly skilled and are perfectionist dentists, the bests. They have done almost all kinds of dental procedures on us, from thorough examinations, root canals, cosmetic works, implants involving bone grafts , etc., with excellent results. Each procedure is done with utmost care (almost no pain), with state-of-the-art equipment and processes (watch the monitor), and in sterile environment (like surgery room). We had so much confidence and satisfaction with them that instead of the dreaded visits to the dentist, we now feel like dental appointments are just visits to some old friends. The dental phobia is completely gone in this office. Aside from our dental “tres amigos,” our satisfaction extends to all the hygienists, dental assistants, and front desk staffs who are all also very nice, competent, and professional in dealing with us.

This place came recommended to me by a close friend of mine after I complained to him about my previous dentist. I believe it was Dr. Chin who gave me my teeth cleaning and x-Ray. Prior to my office visit, I was given timely reminders of when my appointment was just so that I wouldn’t forget. Upon arriving at the location, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who promptly walked me to one of the rooms where I would get my teeth cleaned. Unlike all the other places I visited in the past, this place actually take appointments seriously and do not make people wait. When dr. Chin first walked in, my impression was, this guy’s too young to be my dentist. I’m used to grandpa looking dudes cleaning my teeth. As I later learned, because he’s younger, it was easier for me to relate to him. On top of that, he did a great job cleaning my teeth. I’m definitely coming back here again

I have been a patient of Dr Chin since 2007 and this office is the best! They are very efficient, I have NEVER waited for more than 10 mins in their waiting room. I was wondering how 3 dentists can practice in one office and still have a clean, uncrowded waiting area. I’ve had multiple dental hygienists for my teeth cleaning and each one of them spent at least an hour with my regular cleaning! I love Ruth the best because she demonstrates everything she wants you to practice at home and she educates you the whole time she is cleaning your teeth. Dr Chin is a very good dentist and would explain everything in detail. I always leave their office knowing a lot more about oral care

Been a patient of Dr. Chin for years, since his prior practice. I actually look forward to my twice a year visits now, and that is a rare thing to hear someone say about their dentist. I guess I’ve been coming to Dr. Chin for so long that I’ve developed a real friendship. Besides being an excellent dentist, he is very personable and can relate to him. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Our practice started in it's present location over 42 years ago in 1975 by Dr. Jen Kin. Over the years we have added more space, Doctors, Staff, and procedures. We continue to grow in knowledge, skill, and technology, yet we never lose focus of our mission- and that is to treat patients as friends rendering the best possible care at affordable fees. Being on time and treating patients with kindness and care is our strength. Dr. Chin attended the University of California where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He went on to graduate from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1996. After graduating, he attended the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, where he became a chief resident and completed a 2-year general practice residency program. Through training, he learned Esthetic Dentistry, Implantology (placement & restoring of dental implants), and worked on medically compromised patients. He also published an article in a renowned dental journal and has presented his work at both local and national dental conferences. He is an active member of the Harbor, CA, and American Dental Societies, as well as the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Chin is a credentialed member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where he continues to advance with the changes in the field of Implantology. He has taught at UCLA School of Dentistry. He has also taught the Dental Materials Course to senior students at the Cerritos College Hygiene Program. Dr. Chin and his wife, Stephanie, have three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family. “The mouth is connected to the body, and I would love to help others achieve a higher level of living. I believe I can do this because we are extremely blessed to have all of the treatment choices we have today. These are some of the many reasons dentistry is very exciting to me.”
