THANK YOU UNIVERSE FOR DR. STACY SPIZUOCO! Where Do I begin? Dr. Spizuoco and I met a year ago, spring of 2020 during the pandemic. She was discussing the impact of teeth positioning and our ability to speak with ease. As an educator, I was immediately curious! More, as I listened to Dr. Spizuoco, I felt like she was speaking to me as she showed various bites, explained how teeth wear down from misalignment, and the jaw pain that generally follows/persists. I set up a consult with Dr. Spizuoco immediately! Within two minutes of the consult, Dr. Spizuoco looked at me and shared I had options that were completely different from my current protocol. With misty eyes, I listened as Dr. Spizuoco consciously and compassionately explained why my jaw was still in pain after years of mouth guards and botox injections (below my jaw joints), what caused the continuous chipping of teeth, and the ramifications of never having braces and jaw surgery as a child. More, Dr. Spizuoco shared what no other dentist shared! IF I chose to continue with settling for what I had always experienced, I would most likely crack more teeth during my younger years AND the pain would worsen as I get older. Not only did Dr. Spizuoco strategically map out the relief I would receive by shifting my teeth (realign) and bite (surgical procedure), she enthusiastically helped me find the best orthodontist, oral surgeon, and periodontist in NYC. As one that grew up truly believing my cross and under bite were permanent, Dr. Spizuoco showed me that not only does she have my best interest at heart, SHE IS FULLY COMMITTED to making sure I’m supported beyond her office! Truthfully, I’m unsure if I’ll ever be able to express my fullest gratitude for Dr. Spizuoco. I HIGHLY recommend all ages use Dr. Spizuoco for her brilliance and mastery!
