let me just start with wow!!! i moved to nj last year and was looking around for a dentist. from the moment i called it was great. brianna was superrrr nice and helpful. she called me back(which normally doesn’t happen with other doctors) she got me in the next day with such friendliness and kindness. then when i get there, they call me in right away and the hygienist was amazinggg!!! super professional and friendly. the doctor came in a little bit after and went over everything with me which made me feel so good. very informative and caring. i cant wait till my 6th month check up. also bringing in my husband for the first time. its soo satisfying to encounter with great professionals who really are caring and concerned about their patient.

The dental hygienist did an amazing job on my dental cleaning (I wish I remembered her name). She explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, and was gentle yet extremely thorough. Dr. Hogan was kind and concise when explaining my treatment options and working with my insurance. Although this practice is a bit far from my home I’m extremely glad I chose to go here. The service was excellent, the receptionists were helpful and respectful even when rescheduling or calling back for more information. I would recommend this practice to any of my friends and family!

I was searching for a good dentist online and came across Union Family Dental. I read a few reviews regarding Michael Hogan, DDS and was so impressed. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff. I traveled from Bayonne to Union NJ and so happy I did. My dentist did such a wonderful job with my filling as well as the X-ray technician. I have found a great place for dental work!

They saw me right away and they were so nice to me. They were very informal and treated me so nice. I got my teeth cleaned and it didn’t hurt at all. They taught me a lot about oral health and how to maintain good oral health. It was a really good dentist visit. If you are looking for a dentist I would 10/10 recommend.

This was my first visit, but I felt like a long time patient. Dr. Hogan & his staff were very professional & made me feel like I belong. He thoroughly explained step by step what was going on at that time & what to expect next. I’m happy I chose him from Zoc Doc & am happy to share my experience with anyone reading this review!

Taking a chance on Dr.Hogans practice was based solely on the consistent good reviews I had read. Still, until I had my own experience I couldn’t be sure I’d made a good decision. Before meeting Dr. Hogan , I met his assistant Sierra. She really helped to put my mind at ease by understanding that every patient is different and is to be treated with the upmost care according to their specific needs, kind and very professional would be a short description of Sierra. That was a turning point for me. Shortly after my cleaning, I met Dr. Hogan. He was completely professional , very pleasant personable, informative, easy to talk to and understand. He’s also a good listener. I never felt rushed during my entire visit though it was obvious Dr. Hogan was having a busy day. Overall from beginning to end it was a very good visit . Thank you Dr. Hogan and staff for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for your patients.

Decided to go to Dr. Hogan when my primary dentist was know longer practicing at my old dental office after COVID. Hands down the best decision I ever made. Dr. Hogan is the best and his work is excellent. Dr. Hogan and his staff are great, knowledgeable, and very professional. If anyone need any dental work this is the dentist office to go promise you won’t be disappointed. Happy to say I found me a new dentist.

UPDATE: I just finished my Invisalign treatment; I am very satisfied with the results, and that is largely due to Dr. Hogan’s excellent care. During all my check-ups, Dr. Hogan ensured my teeth were moving into place, and made adjustments as necessary that were nearly painless. While sometimes briefly uncomfortable, he frequently checks-in and acts swiftly to minimize unease. I have referred Dr. Hogan to other friends, and I encourage you to see him if you’re interested in a great dentist. =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* I have been Dr. Hogan’s patient for the last few months. His office and exam rooms are clean, organized and have nice background music. The first visit was a cleaning, and he and staff were professional, on time and attentive to my needs. I was able to also discuss Invisalign with him, and we did molds that very same day. Today I just got my first set of trays, and he and his assistant did an excellent job in the prep work, ‘dot’ application and final polishing to make sure the trays are comfortable. I highly recommend his practice, and I’ll be visiting him for all my dental needs.

I went to this place because of the reviews I read . I m one that normally don’t believe in reviews because the workers can put reviews up there to make it seem like it was patients that put it there. Friendly staff and a neat place. Great place and great workers. I m glad I choose this place. I m taking all my family there soon.

Dr. Michael Hogan was very attentive, empathetic, and skilled. I felt like he and is staff were giving me personal attention, and not viewing me as a commodity. He took his time to explain various dental procedures to me, and was very willing to meet the demands of my schedule. I would recommend Union Family Dental, a surprising neighborhood gem.
