I don’t like going to the denitist but I don’t mind going to see Dr Rexan & her staff.  They are very pleasant & helpful and always nice & professional too.  Dr Rexan is a very skilled dentist and has performed several procedures on me such as cavity fillings, crown replacement & tooth bonding with no complications and virtually pain free.  She has improved my smile with the tooth bonding & I am very happy with the results.  The office is easy to get to & I can always find parking in the neighborhood within a few blocks.  I know that oral health is important to overall health & I feel lucky to have found such a great dental practice that has my complete confidence!

BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!! Dr. Marianna Rexan is not only one of the nicest people I’ve met, she over all ROCKS! The staff was unbelievably friendly. In fact, the receptionists were so nice, one of them (Nancy) gave me recommendations to places to go to here in San Francisco since I just moved to town. Good service is so hard to find these days and walking into Dr. Marianna Rexan’s office was a breath of fresh air and a reminder that there are people that care and quality about the services they provide. Thank you guy’s for making my experience more than formidable.

I have lived in the Bay Area for over 3 years now, and since moving from NYC had to find all new doctors as one does when they move. General practitioner, dentist, gynecologist, dermatologist, etc. Dr. Rexan is the only doctor in the past few years that I instantly gravitated towards and knew I would stick with. She’s very gentle, communicates every step of every process and really, really makes her patients feel comfortable. Also, I never ever feel rushed. She always makes you feel like you’re the only patient in the room and she really cares about the work she’s doing. Her dental assistant and receptionist (Samantha) are equally as great!!

If you are looking for a great service, that is the place.  it was recommended to me by a co-worker, when I started to feel a toothache. Didn’t have much expectations, just wanted to get it fixed.  Everything was very easy:got on the website, scheduled my appointment online, filled paperwork at home, emailed it back.  Was wormly greeted by the receptionist and met the doctor.  Dr. Rexan was very nice, attentive and thorough.  It turned out to be just a gum infection, also i got the full check-up: gums, teeth, jaw-joint, oral cancer test.  During this one hour exam I learned more about my mouth, than I ever new. They use latest equipment : intra-oral camera, laser gum treatment and a different one for cavities detection.  A bit pleasantly surprising that with all the new dental stuff, office is located in an Victorian building in the center of the Marina.
And an the anesthesia shot, I didn’t feel it at all.  I was told doctor is using a special pediatric technique..

I has been a longtime patient of Dr Rexan and Ruth. Sometimes we forget about how good thing are good, because they just there. Today i just got a reminder about it: scheduling, reminders, atmosphere, attention, gentlest teeth cleaning, thoughtful instruction and suggestions on improving hygiene techniques, no-hassle insurance dealing. All is done just right. Thank you.

I have now had two appointments with Dr. Rexan and the staff at Union Fillmore Dental, the first a regular ol’ checkup and then the biggie, a trifecta of fillings all on the same day. While three fillings might not be how I’d like to spend every Friday afternoon, this was about as painless – literally – as it could be. The staff applying the tooth numbing stuff (I assume that’s the technical term) was very patient with me as I waited to make sure everything was as numb as could be before the action began. Dr. Rexan was very thorough in her explanations of what was about to happen, how long each part would take, and what I was going to feel (basically, I wouldn’t feel a darn thing). Dr. Rexan also called that Friday night, several hours after the fillings, to check-up on me, which was nice. Oh, and while you’re in the dentist chair there is some great Marina people watching from the Union/Fillmore intersection!

I was about to travel overseas when a toothache hit. They won’t let me change my travel plans at work, but I was able to get an appointment at Union Fillmore Dental within hours from the time I called. The appointment itself went great! First, they really take time and effort to make sure you feel no pain and is absolutely comfortable during the treatment. All people are different and I have sensitivities to certain medications, Dr. Rexan took plenty of time to find anesthetics that worked great for me. She took plenty of time to investigate the cause of my problem and explained things to me in a “normal” plain terms that I can understand.  All of them worked long hours that day because of my drop-in emergency and Dr. Rexan made sure that everything was done and complete, before I left. I am happy to found this dental office where people know what they are doing and have great attitude, both compassionate and professional. Will definitely go there again.

I hate going to the dentist. I hate it so much that I have not been in over three years. Finally I knew I needed to schedule an appointment and my friend recommend Dr. Rexan. She made me feel extremely welcomed and so comfortable I didn’t even feel like I was at the dentist, it felt as if I was visiting a friend. The best part of the trip though was meeting Samantha. She greeted me right away and I must say she is drop dead gorgeous. I didn’t want to leave her presence! (I hope Samantha is single) Anyway I am going to schedule a check up soon and I highly recommend this dental office to everyone!!

After I moved to San Francisco I ignored my teeth for over a year because I didn’t have a dentist in the area. One morning I woke up with a horrible pain. I called my friends and one of them recommended Dr. Rexan. I called the office to make an appointment and I was seen two hours later. Dr. Rexan quickly diagnosed the problem and started treatment. She went over different options with me and discussed not only dental but also financial implications of every option. I had a root canal done that went well. Since the first appointment I had a few more to complete the treatment. Dr. Rexan is very approachable. I am very satisfied with my treatment. Now I have “my dentist” in San Francisco. Next time I won’t wait for pain to be seen.

Dr. Rexan and her team made me feel so welcomed from scheduling to walking in and getting seen right away. I called in that day due to horrible pain on the right side of my mouth and Samantha (who is absolutely awesome) listened to me and offered to get me in the same day. When I got there Dr. Rexan brought me to her chair and took X-Rays, she was very gentle and informative of what she was looking for. Of course she found the source of my pain and prescribed me antibiotics. The office is clean and has a beautiful view of SF while sitting in her chair. Overall, I give them 5 stars for working together and trying their best to make make sure all their patients leave satisfied. Yes, I am coming back again for my cleaning in 6 months.
