I’ve been a patient of Dr Lopez for over 10 years, and have never, never had a problem whatsoever. I have had several dentists throughout the years and Dr Lopez will be my last dentist. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a caring, compassionate dentist. Dr Lopez and his staff are the best at what they do for their clients/patients. Dr Lopez and his staff treat me like a member of the family, and for anyone to say otherwise, is beyond me. I am always acknowledged and greeted when I enter, always inquiring how I’ve been, etc. I have been to other dental practices where I’ve haven’t been greeted and/or acknowledge that I’ve even entered the waiting room. I have never had to wait, ever, even when I am way early for my appointment. I have always gotten excellent care from Dr Lopez and his staff, and am extremely happy with the care that they’ve given me over the years. I highly recommend Dr Lopez and his staff. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr Lopez’s and his staff’s kindness and care toward me

Dr. Lopez and his staff are truly what make every visit to University Park Family Dental a wonderful and welcoming experience. I’m greeted by name every time I walk in, my time there is never rushed, and every employee is so friendly making for a very comfortable experience. While I can’t speak for this first-hand and only based on my observations, it seems as if Dr. Lopez truly values his employees and their work-life balance, which is a rare consideration for many businesses. For that, I have so much respect for this business and will happily continue going here for all my dental needs. I’m grateful for all the staff and the work they do. Thank you for serving me the last 7 years!

Dr. Avery Lopez and his staff led by the office manager Codie are absolutely spectacular. They have gone above and beyond to take care of me and my family and have always been extremely professional. Codie the office manager was so helpful in working with my insurance to ensure that I received the best treatment at a reasonable cost. My son loves going here because they have Netflix and flat screen TV’s at each station so he never gets bored. I have recommended multiple friends of mine and they have all had good experiences as well. I highly recommend Dr. Lopez to anyone considering a top of the line dentist and friendly staff.

I am glad to have found University Park Family Dental. The office is super convenient to where I live. They are also open until 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on Saturdays as well! I can’t stress enough how amazing this is as someone who works an 8-5 office job with an extremely rigid schedule. I love that I can go in after work or on the weekend for my cleanings without having to stress about making up time at work or using precious PTO/vacation. The staff is all super nice as well. They’re good about avoiding high-pressure sales tactics, which is something I especially appreciate. I have casually asked about a couple of cosmetic dentistry procedures and had specifics & pricing explained to me, but it was only after I asked, and even then, they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. Just come here!

So, I have a huge dental phobia. One of those – you don’t go for a few years because you are so scared of the dentist, the jaw clenching sounds of tools against teeth, and nightmares from past dental work – kind of dental phobias. I blamed not going to the dentist for the last few years because of pregnancy and having twins but as my babies started to teeth and play with toothbrushes, I realized that I needed to start doing better with taking care of my teeth. Oh, yeah, and I might have had a wisdom tooth come in and got an abscess from an infected tooth. It was time to go to the dentist. So, looking around on ZocDoc (cause who wants to chat on the phone nowadays) I needed a few things: +who could get me in relatively quick +who had great reviews for being gentle (and was a family dentist because if you could care for kids, you could care for a freaked out woman, right) +and who offered some kind of help for the extreme anxiety. A minute into my consultation with Dr. Avery and his team, I immediately knew I was in the right place. From a calming environment, friendly team, and treatment plan in place – I felt comfortable moving forward. My dental cleaning went smoothly thanks for the conscious sedation that Dr. Avery offered. As well as the noise canceling headphones that played my favorite Pandora channel and tinted glasses to block out that bright light. AND a fluffy blanket. It might sound silly, but the little things count. And then, a week later, I went back in to get my wisdom tooth taken out, a tooth extracted, and several fillings fixed. About threeish hours of work. And guess what? I remember nothing from the procedures except my family walking me in, being wrapped in a blanket, and feeling like I was at the spa. Seriously, having twins is hard and that was a nice getaway! I can’t recommend Dr. Avery enough. He is friendly, welcoming, and his staff is absolutely magnificent. Each and every one of them made me feel comfortable, calm, and no one made me feel silly for having extreme dental anxiety. If you’re on the fence, avoiding dental care, or just need a cleaning – I highly recommend checking out Dr. Avery and his team. 

I highly recommend University Park Family Dental! Dr. Lopez and his staff are professional, friendly and welcoming. They did a great job with my exam/cleaning, and the office is modern and has a comfortable feel to it. I don’t review services very often, but they definitely deserve 5 stars and I’ll be going back. It was nice to go to a business where they offer top-notch service and genuinely appreciate their patients.

I very seldom write reviews but my experience at this office inspired me to post one. I am usually nervous to go to the dentist having had some bad experiences, but I was put at ease right away. Every staff member is extremely friendly and polite, the office is clean with state of the art equipment, and unlike many offices I did not have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. From the initial X-rays, to the cleaning, to the filling, everything was very thorough, painless, and easy. While I may eventually need more work done down the line, Dr. Avery acknowledged that it was not urgent and did not pressure me to get a bunch of work done immediately, which I have realized many dentists will do. I truly trust that Dr. Avery and his staff will take great care of myself and the rest of their patients!

Every-time I come here the staff is always so welcoming and professional. They always make me feel as comfortable as possible. I get very anxious when it comes to teeth but Dr. Lopez and his staff always make me feel great. I always get a blanket and get to watch a movie which helps distract me. Dr. Lopez is the best! I used to hate going to the dentist but I don’t anymore!

Wow! Love University Park Family Dental. Dr. Avery and Cody and everyone else that has made my experience great! I had my cleaning and fillings done here as well as internal bleaching on my front tooth. I have always been very self conscious about my front tooth being more yellow than the others and Dr. Avery told me he could fix it with internal bleaching. I was so excited but i don’t think i was prepared for the big difference it made! Also, after the root canal and internal bleaching I got a personal call from Dr. Avery to check on how i was doing. I am so pleased with this place!

I have been seeing Dr. Lopez for over 2 years now. I think I have been in the waiting room a total of 5 minutes. The staff always great me warmly. I feel confident in the combined abilities of Dr. Lopez and his staff. The professional atmosphere and painless visits have changed the dread of going to the dentist to a much more pleasant outlook towards getting my teeth cleaned. I wholeheartedly recommend University Park Family Dental for anybody looking for an honest and skilled dentist

DR LOPEZ IS THE BEST DENTIST IN COLORADO HANDS DOWN!!!! Myself and my two sons have been patients of Dr. Lopez since he was in his old office. We live very close to the old office but we loved Dr. Lopez and his staff so much that we followed to the Denver office. Dr. Lopez and his staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The Staff and Dr. Lopez have treated myself and my sons with respect, love and compassion. My 16 year old son has had two set of braces due to my son being 16 and irresponsible so you can only imagine the amount of time I’ve spent at Dr. Lopez’s office. I have recommended my sister and her husband and their 4 kids and they also love Dr. Lopez. I also have recommended a friend who’s 3 year old daughter hated the dentist and now the 3 year loves to go and always asks her mom when are they going back. Children, Adults anyone I would Highly recommend Dr. Lopez and his staff they are awesome and never make you feel uncomfortable. They are always looking for ways to work with you and will make it happen one way or another. They are open on Saturday’s and understand that everyone is on different schedules. Thank you Dr. Lopez and the Staff for all that you have done for me and my family!

Dr Lopez is the best dentist I have ever met! He is the only one that has never caused pain or made me nervous to go to the dentist. There are tons of dentists to choose from, and I absolutely will drive 2 hours (one direction) to have Dr Lopez work on my mouth. I refuse to let any other dentist touch my mouth!

I love Dr. Lopez and staff. I always try to avoid going to the dentist whenever I can. I had one bad experience that left me with fear of ever going back. However when I walked into the office everyone was so friendly and took the time to remember my name (it was my first time there) I had a wonderful experience and I cant wait to come back for my next cleaning

I typically don’t write reviews but this place is one of the best dentist I have ever been too! I have had some very bad (even traumatic) experiences with previous dentists. Dr. Lopez and his team are knowledgeable, caring, and do amazing work. They made me feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.
