This was my first time coming to Dr. Harvey’s office and although I’m not always excited to go to the dentist, when you find the right facility, staff and dentist, then you’re on your way.  Danielle and Robert who work at the front desk were so helpful from my first phone call setting up my appointment and even nicer in person.
Dr. Sharde Harvey is so caring and thorough with her work, ably aided by her very kind and gentle assistant, Denise.  I feel so relieved and happy to have found a dentist that I can trust and feel safe with and I can’t recommend her services, her staff and this facility any higher! I’ve already made my next appointment and I know I’ll be smiling brighter than ever working with Dr. Harvey.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Harvey and Upper East Dental Innovations. Dr. Harvey was very thorough when working with me, answering all of my questions and even giving me her cell number in case I wanted to consult with her outside of business hours. She is also extremely warm and supportive – she even went out of her way to refer me to another specialist for another medical issue I was dealing with. Overall, qualify care and results from end to end – highly recommend this practice for any dental work!

I had been looking for a dentist I could trust for a few years. Referred by a friend, heading to Dr. Harvey’s practice on a mild winter morning in the middle of the pandemic, I admittedly walked in with a “healthy” dose of skepticism for good measure; one that quickly faded away. Dr. Harvey’s practice had taken actions to minimize the risk of Covid exposure. There was a questionnaire to fill in ahead of time to disclose exposure, the front desk took my temperature upon arrival, everybody was wearing their masks and I saw a few HEPA air purifiers around the office. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I was a bit early so I sat down. The practice was well equipped with the latest technology. There was a CT-scan device standing tall in one room, various digital imaging and other equipment were visible as well. It seemed promising from a convenience perspective. One would not need to go back and forth to various offices for a CT-scan or wait for weeks to get a crown. Dr. Harvey was punctual. She asked a good number of questions in the beginning to understand my concerns. She was equally thorough in her examination. She then took the time to explain the challenges I was facing, her plan and suggestions to address them. It was easy to follow her on the screen in front of me, ask questions, understand the points and recommendations she was making. Dr. Harvey is a compassionate dentist, very passionate about the quality of her work and patient outcome. I will certainly go back.

I don’t understand why anyone put less than five stars on their reviews…seriously who are these people and what do they do with their lives? Where to begin…I am extremely painfully nervous at dental offices but this place came highly recommended to me by my doctor, and for good reason. First the office itself is very clean, bright and welcoming. (*gorgeous Asian Statuary marble floors from a local family owned NYC company Nemo Tile*)The reception is friendly and over all comfortable. They help walk you through any questions you have about payment issues and are very quick and responsive with email correspondence, which was very helpful for me setting up appointments while busy at work and couldn’t take phone calls. No one was ever ever rude to me once, or pushy or dismissive at all. The whole staff is a pleasure and gives you a calm happy feeling when you walk in. (not to mention the location is perfect, right across from Bloomingdales and a bunch of shopping right there I can run all my errands after getting out). If you wait just a few minutes you’ll notice all the acclaims (and there are many; from newspapers, magazines, various articles and reviews from popular news outlets, famous faces and online recognition) that Dr. Harvey has received over the years on the walls in reception including her dental cred and certificates and scholarly accomplishments/expertise. Well it shows because Dr. Harvey is not only warm, relaxed and friendly, she is a master at making you feel at ease. And most importantly she knows her field so well to the tiniest detail that very large daunting issues are dealt with swiftly and perfectly, but as quick as it was, I never felt rushed. For example my cavity sessions were split into two appointments, the first being the biggest scariest one that was not far off from being a root canal. She let me listen to headphones (one of the gentlemen assistants actually offered that I could..i wouldn’t have thought to do it until he mentioned it, great idea for my anxiety)…i put them on low so I could still hear her voice while she numbed me up (virtually painless with her technique..I cannot stress this enough, she has “the hand” very attentive to the focus point and even surrounding areas) and i just closed my eyes through the whole thing, no problem. She even made sure to coat my lips with a little vaseline with a q-tip during the procedures so they wouldn’t hurt or crack when opening wide, no dentist I had has done that before.. so simple and makes a huge difference. And because she is sensitive to your comfort, it’s not like she’s playing around, her work is precise and swift because she knows we don’t want to sit in that chair. She’s very relaxing and professional to hear while its going on. All the work and caps and extra lab stuff is done right there on site so I had a perfect replica of the top of my tooth put right on top (don’t know the terminology) and before I knew it that big scary thing was completely done and behind me. What a relief I still can’t quite believe it! It looks like my real tooth, even the shade of white is considered and perfectly matches. With that session and the second one with normal matching fillings, the best part is that she doesn’t let you leave the chair until your bite is perfect. My teeth are already a little shifted but after she finished the last filling, she polished/sculpted them ever so slightly so that when I close down, my bite closes evenly and i swear its actually better than when I didn’t have them done. Her team is awesome. Olga is a joy and asset to the team, as well as the guys; they all made this nervous wreck right at home. Thank you guys seriously all of you.

I’ve been seeing Dr Harvey for over a year and am super pleased with all her services. She’s really attentive to detail and answers all my questions with lots of patience and care. Plus – her team can’t be beat! Jonah and Denisa especially were sooo terrific on my last visit. Already booked my follow-up.

Dr. Harvey is an incredible dentist. She and her staff consistently do a thorough, painless job and really get to know me as a patient. Additionally, they take the time to explain procedures to me whenever I ask, and they recommend measures for maintaining my dental health as well. I feel this is a very professional practice that is invested in its patients, and I look forward to future visits!

Trips to the dentist for most people are not easy, but me and my family actually look forward to our dental visits with Dr Harvey!  She is the most gentle, kindest, professional and skilled dentist I know and, after shopping for dental options for two years after my last dentist retired, I chose Dr. Harvey and do not ever plan to change.  Give Dr Harvey a try, you won’t regret it!

Dr. Harvey is a compassionate dentist that really cares about her patients. She is proactive in care, so as to do things now that will reduce future costs, and she goes out of her way to try to get things covered by insurance. I feel like I can really trust Dr. Harvey and that she’ll be straight with me. Her office is immaculate and staff are professional. I highly recommend!

Dr. Harvey is an excellent dentist, outstandingly knowledgeable, with a light touch and big heart – deeply caring about her patients. Along with Danielle and Robert, and Dr. Harvey’s assistant, the team at UES Dental Innovations are highly professional, accommodating, respectful and courteous. These are the reasons why my husband referred them to me when I needed a dentist many years ago, and why we continue to be their clients.

TLDR; good team for scared patients, GREAT prices. Transparent costs. I am terrified of the dentist, and due to some really fun issues with complex PTSD, which can be triggered by feeling like im being held down, as well as a history of some really not-cool dentists when I was a kid who needed A LOT of dental work… usually it’s really scary! Dr. Sharde and her team were a god send and actually made me feel like MY EXPERIENCE of pain or not was what mattered. They stopped whenever I needed and answered all my questions. And I’m talking about getting my teeth cleaned. I They also DO NOT inflate prices. My last dentist slapped me with 200, 300 per filling bills and I didn’t realize this was abnormal. Dr. Sharde charges 50 per filling and was very transparent about cost BEFORE DOING THE SERVICES.

Dr Sharde Harvey and her staff are excellent. They allow the customer to establish the detail and level of the conversation and explanations. I felt very much involved in decisions and fully understood the outcomes, risks, and reasoning. Dr Harvey is very friendly. She is easy to speak with and moves forward only when everyone is in agreement. It is refreshing to have this level of professionalism. The environment is bright, clean and up to date. Dr Harvey has succesfully coupled excellent customer services with innovative technology, and has done it well. I highly recommend her services.

I always enjoy my experience at Upper East Dental Innovations. The office is comfortable and people are friendly. Dr. Harvey and her staff are very knowledgeable and always take time to address my concerns and answer any questions I may have. I am currently going Invisalign and I’m very happy with my progress so far. One of my favorite things about Dr. Harvey is also that she clearly cares about training and educating her staff so that they can be successful in their careers.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harvey’s for 10 years and the quality of her work is excellent! I have had root canals, a veneer, and even a dental implant performed by Dr. Harvey and I have had no problems. She also has a pleasant personality and you can tell that she really cares about her patients. As a matter of fact she and her staff always check up on you after major work is performed. So if you are in need of a first rate dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Harvey!

I am a longtime customer of UEDI. Dentist appointments in this office feel more like catching up with a friend. This office has completely disposed of any previous fears held with dental work. There is never any pain & I am utterly thrilled with the progress I have made with the Dr. Harvey’s expertise. I HIGHLY recommend this office. I promise you will be a loyal customer after your first visit. (Also, she plays THE BEST music in the office.. #winwin)

I wanted to give special thanks to Dr Harvey from the people of Belize whilst on vacation when a helping hand was needed. I would like to thank you for your visit Both the children and staff found it to be very informative and fun. The children went home very excited and enjoyed sharing their experience with their parents. We look forward to seeing you again. Not sure what the rest of folks are saying but I must say that I was alway explain everything about my Dental heath upon leaving.Never any complains, very professional and always on time, as time is very import in NY. I realize when you get excellent service you pay. Dont go to some shady Dentist and get crappy work. I see many people complaining about how much they pay but what would you rather have rotten teeth and bad breath ??? I been going to Dr. Harvey and associates for a while now, and I can say that the whole practice and staff are really professional, nice and understanding.:: When I first came in to get my dental check-up everything was explained to me in detail. The front receptionist gave me a breakdown of what was cover and not cover by my dental insurance. They actually that the extra step and call you insurance to go over and explain how your insurance works. I love how the office is very well kept with state of the art equipment and extremely clean. The Dr. Harvey sat with me and explain her recommendation based on my X-rays and what she saw clinically. Luckily I only had 3 cavities, which had them done the same day. The entire visit was a 5 star rating.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harvey for a few years now.  She runs a very professional practice using all the latest technology (for instance using CEREC CAD-CAM machining to turn custom 3D virtual inlays into perfectly fitting inlays right in the office).  I had gone through many dentists I did not like in the city before finding her via a family referral.  I trust her to make the right decisions to keep my mouth happy.  I’ve had many procedures with her including fillings, root canals, cleanings, inlays, and onlays.  In the rare event an onlay or other procedure has had an issue (for instance a couple days after leaving the office) she has prioritized fixing the issue usually at her own expense.  She is highly trained to perform advanced procedures and yet she still performs even cleanings herself to ensure she knows the ongoing state of your mouth.  Provides reliable pricing upfront.  Some advanced operations can be naturally expensive but only because she does not compromise on quality and she will occasionally waive or lower costs for unexpected procedures.  Takes all insurers.  Beautiful new office and great location next to Lex Ave – 59 St station.  If you want a top-quality, personally attentive and caring dental practice, this is it.

I have just visited Dr. Harvey’s office because one of my teeth hurt badly. I called her around 8 p.m. that day and told her I was in tremendous pain. Upon arrival she took me in immediately and told me that I needed a root canal. She did this procedure as I obliged. A few days afterwards, there was no pain and I was so glad. She is the best dentist I have ever had; very concise and efficient. Thank you Dr. Harvey

I was referred here by my doctor. It had been a while since I’d had a dental check-up and I didn’t know what to expect going in, so I was nicely surprised when had a great experience at Dr. Harvey’s office. Dr. Harvey is so knowledgeable, but she also took the time to carefully explain what she was doing so that I could understand what was going on. It’s worth mentioning that every person in the office is incredibly attentive and kind. I left feeling like my teeth and mouth were very well cared-for and a little bit more knowledgeable about my own dental health.
