URBN Dental and their staff were great! I had some catching up to do on my dental work but they made everything they were going to do very clear from the very beginning. They answered all of my questions, whether it was about my teeth or my insurance, making sure I was 100% comfortable before moving forward. They scheduled me while I was there for my next couple of appts also so I don’t have to worry about taking care of it later, or forgetting. No excuses on my upkeep anymore lol!

I’ve been coming here for the last year or so and have been extremely pleased with the treatment I’ve gotten — both from the front office staff (like Ms. Julia) and from the dentists themselves. What I noticed immediately upon my first visit—aside from how sleek and clean and modern the office itself was—was that everyone staffing this office is female, which translates to an experience of somewhat “maternal” care; I am someone who needs a mother-figure to stay on me to ensure this or that is done, and I had been slacking in certain areas that were shown to me here. Further, it is important for me to highlight the fact that the staff here caught certain issues that previous dental offices either did not catch, or did not care to bring to my attention — more interested in signing me up for this or that service. The staff at URBN offer services you can sign up for, but they’re also clearly interested in doing what’s right for you, and ensuring you do it too. I came here initially because of the strong online reviews, and have seen myself that they are entirely accurate and justified.

I Stopped by the office for a cleaning and some xrays. Dr. David was very personable and competent. He explained to me exactly what was going on in my mouth and fixed a high filling that I had done a few months ago in minutes. Looks like a found my new Dentist!

Dr David Nguyen is a great dentist. He does a great job and explain very well every steps he is performing. I learned something new about how to properly brush my teeth and I can see new results. All the services he provides are under high standards performance. His staff is amazing, they make you feel welcome and they are very knowledgeable. Come to see him, I promise you will be very happy after your first appointment with Dr. Nguyen.

Today was my first visit at this location, and I will definitely be back here. The office is clean, modern, and beautiful! I felt safe coming here even with COVID. My hygienist Angela was amazing. I learned a few new things from her that I’ve never been told by any other office. She was very thorough with my cleaning, but I never had any discomfort and she was great with explaining everything she was doing. I really appreciate that I was in and out within an hour, and never had to wait. Highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

I was immediately greeted by friendly faces when i came in! Online scheduling and patient paperwork made it so easy to get an appointment with no waiting to go back to the room. Every person of staff from front desk, hygienist to dentist introduced themselves to me and took the time to explain everything they were doing. I’ve never had a dentist actually sit down and explain the biology behind flossing, bone health, nerve health etc. it was great to feel like I was being taken care of by true professionals. They were also very explanatory of exactly what my insurance covered and the cost breakout of all of my services. I would recommend this office to any of my friends and family.

Great first time experience. Office is really nice and I appreciated all of the preventative measures they took in response to Covid-19. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone including the dentist took the time to explain. They also made sure to give me the opportunity to ask questions. I left feeling great with very clean teeth! This place is top notch!

Urban Dental is amazing! Every staff member from the front desk to the dentist, dentist assistant and hygienist are so professional and outstanding at their job. I had neglected my teeth for quite sometime and after a deep cleaning, they put me on a maintenance program that I feel confident will keep my dental health in excellent condition. As other reviews have mentioned, you look forward to your next dental appointment. My dentist, Bridget Espanol was very thorough and did an excellent evaluation. My hygienist, Angela explained every step she was doing during the deep cleaning of my teeth. All costs were explained by Maria before any procedure began. The office has the latest dental technology and the most compassionate concern for their clients. If you are looking for a great dental office, this is the one for you!! I have already recommended them to a few people!!

Very professional and kind staff. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a competent and kind group of professionals. Their dental assistants and their dental hygienist are top notch as well as the dentist. Julie who works at the desk and handles the financial issues is also professional and kind. You feel safe in their hands.

OMG! Wow! I am soooo impressed by my whole experience at URBN Dental. The upbeat vibe and modern feel when you enter the office will immediately calm any nerves you have about seeing a dentist. Dr. David Nguyen and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable and were so gentle, careful, and efficient with my teeth, I didn’t even feel ANY discomfort and the procedure was over before I even knew it! Amazing! After a few tests and a cleaning, Dr. Nguyen suggested Invisalign treatment and Kor Whitening. I had been wanting to do Invisalign for awhile now, and after seeing how affordable these treatments were, I excitedly went through the process. Now, I just finished with my last tray of Invisalign and did the Kor Whitening. Dr. Nguyen also fixed a chipped tooth and softly lasered some unwanted gum tissue to perfect my teeth and smile (see uploaded pics). WOW! I can’t believe how much I love to show off my smile now and I even get several compliments!! The whole process was so easy, I just scheduled an appointment online and Julia, the office manager handled all my insurance questions. I was surprised by the 1 star review I had read prior because everything that reviewer said is completely false!! Dr. Nguyen does an amazing job, gives out toothbrushes/floss and whatever you need. You even get a yummy smelling creamsicle chapstick after checking in! Dr. Nguyen also has his credentials hung in his office, and I learned that he did specialized training at a residency in New York that most dentists don’t get to receive. On top of that, he was voted Best Dentist in Houston for the past 3 years. Dr. David Nguyen and his URBN Dental staff makes this place the best dental office in River Oaks Houston. You will honestly regret not coming here!

Very Friendly staff! I have never liked going to the dentist but they made it so comfortable and explained everything! I learned some interesting things on the gums and everything is explained to a t regarding this. They also went through the payments with you after explaining what you were needing. No surprise payments when checking out! I’m definitely excited about my next cleaning 🙂

This was my first time at Urban dental, and I will definitely be making this my primary dental office! The hygienist, dentist, assistant, and receptionist were all very helpful in answering all my questions and very hands on with their explanations. Nothing ever felt rushed, and they made sure I understood everything as they went through different processes. And another pro, they gave me a free electric toothbrush for my first visit! No other dentist office has ever gotten my teeth this clean or educated me so well on dental hygiene. Highly recommended. By the way, the office is super cute and modern! The music was also awesome as well! Best overall dentist experience I’ve ever had!

All the staff at URBN Dental are genuinely AMAZING! My husband and I have been very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. We both started with an exam and URBN Dental gives you a print out of your whole dental plan. They work with you to get the most important things taken care of first and explain EVERYTHING!!! I have never had such a great dental experience, these ladies set the bar high. I would recommend starting with the deep cleaning ‘gum therapy’ treatment. Betty did the cleaning and was quite proficient. She took her time in places that needed a bit more attention, but over all worked at an experienced pace and is highly skilled. My teeth have never felt better and I am now more confident now that I have had many years of plaque and bacteria removed from my teeth and gums. Rebecca,you are always so friendly over the phone and in person and I appreciate your sweet, yet professional demeanor. To all the other staff, thank you for making my visit an enjoyable one. I have always dreaded going to the dentist but now, I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment!

You can tell the staff like to work there which makes a HUGE difference in customer service. Also, I’ve never seen high quality photos of my teeth before. It puts the importance of oral care into perspective, and the hygienist took the time to give realistic (not redundant) tips for improvement. I’m excited about going back and showing off the results of what I learned!

I rarely post reviews but this place honestly deserves it. I had recently moved from League City and I wanted to find a new dentist in Houston. I went to a dentist in Houston a month before I visited them and them had my first visit with them today and what a completely different experience it was. First off the facility is beautiful and super clean. Second the staff was very friendly from the moment I walked it till the moment I left. The most professional and most friendly was the dental hygienist Angela, she was genuine and at times had funny conversations and she made the whole experience enjoyable and informative.

I’ve never had such amazing dental work and such amazing dentists like I have here at URBN Dental! The place itself gives off a very homey and comfortable vibe as well as just looking very aesthetically pleasing. I used to dread going to the dentist because I have sensitive teeth and usually the dentist didn’t seem to care much. Here they put in the extra time just to make me feel more comfortable. I never feel rushed and I always feel they are looking out for my best interest! I 100/10 recommend this place for the best dentistry service and results! (p.s. Marie has been amazing with communication and always makes sure I understand what’s going on! Thank you all so much!)

Highly Recommended! Great Dentist! I had my Invisalign treatment with him and have to say his level of training and how meticulous he is.. is pretty impressive. I am a technology guy and am interested in all things technology. It was the first time I have ever seen xrays of my own teeth on a big screen, this office impressed me with the level of detail and transparency that was given to me about my dental health. I was educated about my teeth, and as skeptism is in my personality trait, I double checked and researched at home what was told to me. Dr. David Nguyen was spot on! He diagnosed my problems, showed me proof and evidence of my cavities and bone levels, and then offered solutions for those problems. I stumbled upon his office by trying to find a dentist office in the 77027 area and am very glad I made the appontment here. From the front desk to the assistants and ultimately to the Doctor, I have to say I am very impressed. My previous Dentist never showed me xrays and never took the time to explain my treatment the way Dr. Nguyen did. I will be a patient for life.

Amazing dentist’s office! Very kind, caring and transparent. They really want you to know exactly what they need to do and why, and provide cost breakdowns before doing anything so you’re not surprised at the counter. Every member of the staff was wonderful to work with every step of the way. No shaming or lecturing like you get with other dentists, just friendly people who want you to be healthy. I couldn’t recommend this dental office enough.

Today was my first visit to URBAN Dental. I recently moved back to Houston and was due for a cleaning. I contacted their office after having a questionable experience at another practice. The level of care and professionalism at this office was excellent. Both the hygienist and doctor spent ample time with me going over x-rays and a treatment plan. I finally had a dentist address an ongoing issue that had been left undiagnosed. My cleaning was very thorough and Angela, the hygienist, was wonderful. So much information was provided to me today. I found my new dental office 🙂

The folks at Urbn Dental are so thorough and helpful! Julia did a great job explaining my insurance benefits and how much my out out of pocket costs would be. I had Angela as my hygienist and she gave me more education then I have even gotten before on take the best care of my teeth. She provided a really thorough cleaning and explained the reasoning behind what she was doing. I haven’t had to have any fillings done with them yet. Figures crossed I can avoid it!
