After having painfully bad experiences with dentists in the past, the contrast coming here was huge! Dr. Kathy and Dr. Chong alleviated my fears. They were gentle and did everything they could to put me at ease and make me comfortable. I trust their judgment and feel completely confident in their treatment plan for me. Everything about this place is great! It was easy to set up a consultation and schedule my implant surgery around my difficult work schedule. The staff is friendly and caring. The office is elegant and modern, and the exam rooms have floor to ceiling windows which gives a light, open, airy feel. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!

I cannot say enough good things about my favorite dental office EVER!! I’m old enough to have had quite a few, but the staff and Dr. Kathy are absolutely superb!!! They are easy on the mouth (and I’m a life-long “dentalphobe”) and so willing to work with insurance and scheduling issues. Our entire family has been going here for too many years to count, and the somewhat new dentist change (maybe 3 yrs ago?) has proven to be wonderful, including Dr. Kathy’s husband who did an implant for me. In fact, I don’t believe you could find a finer, more caring and personable dental practice anywhere! We drive to Sandy Springs from across town (Snellville) just because they are that good! Ferrita (I bet I spelled it, wrong, pls forgive), Laura, Hannah are all perfect support for the fantastic Dr. Kathy! Don’t even hesitate to choose Vernon Woods Dental Care—-so high tech and I believe they can do everything right there, except maybe some oral surgeon needs, that’s a different specialty. They are the best!

They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They are so thorough and efficient. I have had several dental cleanings and, as of recently, a wisdom tooth extracted from this location, and i truly cannot foresee myself attending any other practice. I have received nothing but the most gentle of dental care, to the point I truly cannot recall any point at which I have felt pain! The staff is filled with knowledgeable, friendly, and caring workers who always make me feel right at home. I was even laughing during my (incredibly quick and painless) wisdom tooth extraction because of how energetic they were! I highly recommend this practice for any and all potential customers, especially those who have a fear of the dentist!

I had a tooth extracted, a upper right molar. Dr. Kathy called in a prescription for an antibiotic prior to the procedure to fight any infection. The extraction was painless. I’m healing well. Dr. Tantuco was very kind and caring to my elderly mother who was in for a couple of issues. Dr. explained age and bite issues vs. cost vs. durability of possible fixes. She also took a look at a molar that seems to have a bone loss issue and could possibly develop an abscess. Dr was able to explain all the alternatives in a manner my 88 year old mother could understand. All the staff did everything they could to keep her calm and relaxed. Having your first molar removed at 88 is pretty traumatic. Dr. Tantuco and staff are pretty darn compassionate. Mom started having an anxiety attack so Dr Tantuco thought it would be best to suspend extraction, send mom home with antibiotics, let her get used to the idea of an extraction and reschedule at a later date. Thanks Dr Kathy and staff for taking such good care of my momma! See you in about six weeks.

I have NEVER liked going to the dentist. When I finally found one I liked, he retired a few months later. I was so sad! About a month ago, a friend recommended I see Dr. Kathy with Vernon Woods Dental. I was a little skeptical, but decided to give it a try. Everyone there is so nice and friendly!
