Our family has had entirely positive experiences with Dr Oberferst & staff. Just yesterday the doctor spent an hour salvaging a tooth which ideally would have a crown, but is difficult to access to perform the necessary procedures, so we resolved to try to build the tooth up with filling material. A bit of a gamble at the outset, but we were both willing to try, and when done Doc felt more confident that he had succeeded. Feels great today. He seems quite current and skilled, and offers options / choices whenever possible. The work he has done over the years for me has been quite robust.

I really enjoy being a patient of Dr. Oberferst. I’ve been a patient for many years until I moved to NYC. I have since returned and continued being a patient here. He’s always a delight to see. The staff are great and it’s just a really calm and welcome atmosphere. They stopped taking insurance or my insurance at least but I really do not mind paying out of pocket for them.

I came in today as a new patient and received wonderful service from hygienist Joe and Dr. Oberferst.  This is the first time, I went to the dentist and it didn’t hurt for a mere cleaning!  They did an amazing job with “No pain” and I mean it absolutely “no pain.”

Always on time and so professional, I have been going to Dr Oberferst’s office for probably 10 years now and I have not a single bad thing to say. The hygienists are great and Dr Oberferst is so personable. I love how engaged the practice is with modern technology and that every time I go to the office it looks a little better than it did the last time (ie they are always investing and improving).

I have been seeing Dr. O and his staff for many years and I am 100% satisfied with him and his staff. Just yesterday Dr. O did a Veneer on my front tooth and it came out great can not tell the difference from the rest of my teeth. He takes his time explains everything before he does the work he even follows up with you after the procedure. Would not go anywhere else he is the best, would highly recommend Very Gentle Dental.
