Amazing dentist. I’ve been coming to Doctor Vic since i was seven years old, and started working with him when I was 18. He was always a good Dentist through my eyes even before I started studying dentistry, administering painless shots and taking great care while working on patients, but it was after I started working with him when i realized what a truly amazing dentist he is. After developing a considerable understanding of what dentistry is and should be, I’ve come to understand that Doctor Vic is one of the best Dentists i know along side few others. He treats patients properly, honestly, and treats all of them like family. After visiting other offices, shadowing other dentists and seeing how low the average standard of care is, Doctor Vic is at the pinnacle of Dentistry. One of his most admirable qualities is that he isn’t after money. If he knows of a dentist who is better equipped to do a specific procedure (for example a complicated root canal.) he won’t just settle for a “sufficient” job. he will send you to the best of the best. You’ll never want to see a different dentist after going under his hand

I’m not even sure where to start… after years of avoiding going to the dentist (purely out of laziness), I was recommended to go to Dr. Derbalian. Right from the moment I met him, he made me feel like family. His smile and positive attitude makes the atmosphere that much better. I went to get a check up and needed a cleaning and removal of my wisdom teeth. It was so quick and pain free. I was so happy with the results, I also got Invisalign and my teeth whitened with him. I’m back to feeling 100% confident with my smile, and that is what I was striving for. His entire staff is amazing. All of his assistants are well informed on all of the services he provides. They were able to answer all of my random and sometimes silly questions I had. Kristina is also one of the biggest sweethearts I’ve ever met. She will go out of her way to make the appointment work for your schedule. The entire team is great and helps make going to the dentist a fun experience as apposed to a dreadful one. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

Doctor Derbalian is so willing to help you with any dental problem you have . The best part is they take my PPO insurance and don’t charge and arm and a leg. His staff are also great. I had 22 cavities a couple years back and thanks to Dr. Derbalian I did not feel a thing! He’s seriously the BEST dentist with the sweetest personality and biggest heart for all his patients. My dad is a dentist – and although i may be biased i’m inclined to say a pretty great one at that (no one likes getting shots in their mouth, by family member or not- but i have never had any problems). Needless to say I kind of thought I was set in the dentist department. But when i smashed in my front teeth and dad is 400 miles away, i needed to find someone good to help me ASAP. I was recommended him by a friend – and i am one lucky girl. Dr, Derbalian is very kind, understanding, and showed me the empathy i needed to what was a HUGE ordeal for me. He was very gentle, and does great work. I trust him immensely, and will continue to return to him when i can’t get my dental work done in sacramento with my dad. if you’re looking for a dentist in the area, you won’t go astray here.

Words can’t explain how great this Doctors office is, both the staff and the amazing Doctor himself. Dr. Vic Derbalian is such a caring dentist you can feel the positive energy in the office, he puts his patients first and this is why I trust only him. I’ve gone for multiple procedures and have always came out of his office both satisfied by the work he does and happy from the friendliness. You will never feel like a stranger at his office. A few months ago I went to visit him for a broken tooth that was hitting my nerve and causing excruciating pain throughout my whole jaw, two other dentist said I’m going to need an implant because the nerve roots were very damaged, when I went to Dr. Vic he said he can try his best to save my tooth and only perform a root canal and he succeeded!! He actually saved my whole tooth and saved me from getting an implant which would cost me so much money, time and pain. The pain immediately went away when he cleaned out my nerve root and out the temporary crown. In about less than two weeks they already had my permanent crown ready(which is quite fast) and I was able to go and get it out in. The whole procedure was fast and painless. Just yesterday I had an emergency bone spur where a piece of my wisdom tooth bone was sticking out of my gum,I was in horrible pain. Christina the amazing receptionist/technician/everything was able to give me an appointment the same day and Dr. Vic wasted no time and made sure he took care of my bone spur and I walked out with no pain. He did an amazing job that I would not be able to trust any other doctor with. I highly recommend going here for any dental needs they do everything from A to Z and they actually care about you which is hard to find now a days. They very flexible with their appointments and send you reminders. It’s just an overall great experience there and you are guaranteed to leave healthy and happy!!

“As good as it gets” is the perfect way to describe this very real,very caring,and extremely qualified DDS. He is professional but very different from any other person I have met in the medical field in the way he cares about his patients. He makes you feel comfortable from the start, explains everything, and gives you options. Pain management is a main priority, He was my husband’s oral surgeon and did an extensive amount of work on him on Saturday’s because my husband owns his own buss. and could not come in during the week. (Talk about working with his patients!) He also removed our twin daughters wisdom teeth, again on a weekend and did so back to back so both my husband and I could be there for them. I was so impressed by this man and his genuine caring nature, along with his skilled hands that I switched from my Dentist (of many years) to become his patient. He will follow through with your care, call you himself to make sure all is well and you’re healing as expected. He is a wonderful, warm and outstanding doctor. A rare find these days!

I am a certified dental phobe. Dr. Derbalian knows my sorry saga and I feel sorry for what I put him through. When I first went to him many years ago, he had to fully sedate me. Hands down the BEST Dentist Ever!! Doctor Vic is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and caring dentist I have ever met. He was referred to me by a family member. I kept delaying to see a dentist then I cracked my tooth at the movies while eating popcorn. I was in severe pain for 3 days. Then I decided to contact Doctor Vic’s office, Christina (front office receptionist) gave me same day appointment. She was very helpful and assured me that they will take good care of me. I arrived to the office and the team provided great service. Hrach, Dental Assistant, performed my xrays. He was knowledgeable and professional. Then I was seen by Dr. Vic who reviewed my xrays then examined all my teeth while explaining all the dental work I needed. He was so compassionate, knowledgeable and patiently listened to all my needs. His approach made me feel at ease and I felt so comfortable even though I had only met with him for less than 10 minutes. He explained all the procedures I needed and even though they were completely booked, he made sure I was seen the next day. They knew the urgency and the pain I was going through. The next day, Dr. Vic extracted my wisdom tooth with no pain and filled my cracked tooth. I couldn’t believe it and was extremely impressed with Dr. Vic’s skills. He has a very gentle touch. Dr. Vic and Hrach worked so well together during my procedure. I couldn’t believe what an amazing Dentist Dr. Vic really is. Thanks to him and his team I am pain free.

Most dental offices these days are for-profit BUSINESSES whose only intention is to milk you and your insurance policy out of every penny that’s legally possible. They actually have sales and revenue goals for every procedure from x-rays to Crowns. That’s not the case here. Dr Derbalian is a highly experienced dentist and performs dentistry so you maintain your oral health. It’s that simple. I would highly recommend this office.

The most trustworthy, caring, and gentle dentist I have EVER had!! I currently live in Michigan but keep Dr. Derbalian as my dentist and see him when I come to LA a couple of times a year. Almost 13 years ago my former dentist put in 4 fillings at once and never filed them down properly causing there to be tons of pressure on those fillings whenever I bit down. When I told that dentist my teeth really hurt when I eat chips or crunchy foods he recommended root canals–I immediately stopped seeing that dentist. After that I saw 2 other dentists who told me I needed root canals because I told them my teeth hurt whenever I would eat crunchy foods. I was so frustrated and was having major trust issues with dentists because I knew I didn’t need root canals and thought I was going to have to live with the pain forever. No more chips, apples, protein bars 🙁 Then, like a miracle my fiancée recommended Dr. Derbalian! He fixed my problem fillings and told me that root canals were not necessary. For the first time in 13 years I am PAIN FREE when I eat crunchy foods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the most gentle and compassionate dentist as well as human being I have ever met. I wish there were more ways for me to let people know how wonderful he truly is. Christina, who sits at the front desk is so sweet and very knowledgeable. I am moving to Boston in August but will continue to only see Dr. Derbalian. Please don’t ever retire! He is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about Dr. Vic Derbalian and his staff. Professionalism at it’s best. I have been a patient at this office for about 5 years now. Everytime I walk into the office, I am greeted by the nicest receptionist who always lets me know what my copay will be beforehand and answers any questions I may have about my dental insurance. Not once have I gotten an unexpected bill from this office. Dr. Vic is the best dentist I have ever been to. His positive and uplifting enthusiasm and energy always brings a smile to my face.
