I first saw Dr. Douglas for a check up before I went to study abroad in Europe. I needed fillings and a crown, requiring several appointments. Dr. Douglas was able to fit me in on very short notice, just weeks before I left–all while she was nearly 8 months pregnant! My experience with Dr. Douglas’ excellence doesn’t end there. I had a filling that would crack and need replacement every couple years (until I finally had to get the crown mentioned above). After years of frustration, Dr. Douglas discovered–and corrected–the problem that all of my previous dentists had missed! I am delighted to say that my “problem tooth” is no more. Now that the Yelp community knows more about my dental history than one could ever want to, I’ll conclude by simply reiterating that Dr. Douglas and her staff are truly fantastic. I will be grateful to Village Family Dental for years to come!

Just had teeth cleaned in the time of Covid. They have a great setup to deal with keeping everyone safe and maintaining separation. Way to go! Awesome! Dr Douglas is the best! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Just had my second crown prepped. She did first crown about 6 months ago and it has not bothered me at all since then. The edge is so smooth it feels like it is part of the tooth. She polished up a couple of rough spots leftover from previous dentist work and now can’t even feel them or see them like before. I could not be happier with the care I’ve received at Village Family Dental. Love them all!!

Dr. Mackenzie Douglas is a fabulous dentist. She does amazing work, is extremely prompt and very friendly.  She did two crowns for me and they turned out wonderful. She really took the time with me to listen to my problems with my teeth and fixed those problems right away. I will never go to anyone else besides her. She is the best and I highly recommend her. Her practice is located in Multnomah village. You should definitely check her out!

“As good as it gets!” Dr. Douglas and Village Family Dental really are as good as it gets. I’ve never had a better dentist or dental team and office. Dr. Douglas proves that leadership counts. I’ve been coming to her office for my dental needs for a decade and so has my wife, and we couldn’t be more happy with this office. They are always, consistently, a pleasure to work with, flexible, kind, gentle, professional, effective and up-to-date. As a fellow health provider I can only aspire to such a high level of care in my own practice.

Convenient location, only a 3 minute drive from my work. Calley is always super friendly and helpful. I even had an issue with my car where I left my lights on and she graciously offered to jump start my car. Its comfortable, has air conditioning for the hot summer months. They offer you a blanket and a show while they work on your smile. Cant beat the service.

Everyone at Village Family Dental is super nice and helpful.. we love coming to see Dr. Douglas and the rest of the team.. my kids (3yrs and 7yrs), myself and my husband all come to the office.. I really appreciate how accessible they are via email, phone or text.. It is super convenient for me..

After years of bad dentists, Dr. Douglas’s practice has been a breath of fresh air. Callie rocks at the front desk, so helpful, very available if I have questions, and always super friendly. The hygienists are a delight, and make mundane cleanings more of a visit than a chore. Trudi, the Dr’s assistant, is clearly exceptional at her job, also a delight to speak with, and seems to be a step ahead at all times leaving the patient feeling confident in the team’s work. Dr. Douglas is a bit of an anomaly: a skilled dentist who is ALSO very friendly, AND constantly aware of her patient’s comfort level (asks regularly for updates), while seamlessly juggling late arrival or dental emergencies with poise, AND still taking time to answer all questions thoroughly. I just had a crown done today and it was painless. On the exceedingly rare instances that I feel any discomfort, Dr. Douglas stops what she’s doing, insisting that I should be comfortable. As a person who has had dentists in the past try to work on me without anesthesia, it is so nice to be able to actually RELAX at the dentist now. I have recommended Dr. Douglas and her stellar team to family members and friends for the years I’ve been seeing them, have switched insurance companies specifically to stay with them, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to you.
