In addition to being one of the most highly skilled dentists in Los Angeles, Dr. Van Osdel is also ethical and kind. I had old metal filings from childhood that were cracking, simply due to age. I consulted with several dentists in the area, some of whom told me I would need crowns on my back molars due to the severity of the cracks. When I finally went to Dr. Van Osdel’s office, she told me I did not need crowns & that I could even hold off on replacing a couple of the old filings if I wanted to because they were still in acceptable condition. In the end, I chose to have all 8 metal filings replaced because I felt so confident in her care & didn’t want to risk more cracking in the future. The procedure went seamlessly and thanks to Dr. Van Osdel, I didn’t have to experience the unnecessary trauma and expense of crowns. She did a beautiful job on my teeth.

Very professional in their work and make us feel at home in a sometimes frightening dental setting. These guys are awesome! My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Virginia Van Osdel.

Have had Dr. Van Osdel as my dentist for years now and would go nowhere else. The best care, the best hygienists and a friendly front desk staff. I finally splurged on Invisalign and straightened my crooked teeth. It went by super fast, was painless and just like it’s name, was truly invisible. I’m in the food business and taking them in and out was super simple. I had trouble flossing prior to this necessitating more frequent cleanings, but now the cleanings are less frequent and flossing is actually enjoyable. Thanks for the support Team Osdel!

For a well traveled, educated, grown adult male of almost 50 years – you would think that going to the dentist would be no big deal. Well, you would be wrong. Throughout my entire life, I’d almost rather do anything than sit in that chair. And no, I’m not going to say that I now look forward to it but Virginia now has me coming every 6 months instead of every 18 months. Ok, maybe 24. Why? It’s simple, they make it painless and easy. Dr. Van Osdel and crew are personable, professional, thorough and attentive of their client’s needs and work schedules 100% of the time. But hey, don’t listen to me, the fewer people who know this – the better for those of us who do. So shhhh, it’s a secret, nothing to see here….

Dr. Van Osdel and her staff are nothing short of fantastic. I have extreme anxiety with regards to going to the dentist. Basically, I was avoiding it at all costs, until a few months ago when I broke a cap/crown on one of my back teeth. I was so scared and nervous I’d had so many bad experiences in the past. A friend had referred me to her office. I was completely blown away by the level of caring and sensitivity that was given to my extreme anxiety and stress. Dr. Van Osdel is the kindest most considerate dentist I’ve ever experienced. Each member of her team helped me feel calm – through breathing, music, and just a general feeling of being safe, I was able to get through what seemed like a terrifying procedure to me. Now, months later for the first time I have gone into her office for routine maintenance and a cleaning, with a bit of anxiety but minimal fear, because I know they will take care of me. I am so happy to call Dr.Van Osdel my dentist and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I love my dentist.
