If you are dreading going to the dentist because you hate the pain or how much time it takes, you HAVE to go to this dentist. Dr. Roper is the BEST dentist I have ever been too…..I have had probably 15 crowns total and I had absolutely no pain with the shot or any of the work, I was in and out with my permanent crown in less than 1 1/2 hours, complete with removing a filling too. I have been to a ton of dentist and this is the VERY BEST!!!

Professional, honest, and a strong passion for being a dentist. I had a tooth that broke and after a few attempts to save it, I had to replace it with an implant. He walked me through the entire process so I understood the procedure and the actual timeline of events. I couldn’t be any happier with the results. Having to select a new dentist and staff after 26 years is scary. My first impression with Angela was so welcoming and helpful. Javier gave me the most thorough cleaning and x-rays as a new patient and his personality and work ethic is second to none. I have not yet seen Dr. Roper for restoration services, but I am a firm believer that a great staff is a sign of a great leader. They offer an affordable in-house dental plan that was extremely helpful for my family.

I had some horrible dental work done in the Navy and I walked in to tell them about it and they fit me in right away for an exam. Everyone in the practice was so nice and friendly! The assistant was aware of my sensitive gag reflex and did her best to quickly and efficiently finish the x-rays. I was referred to a specialist for a root canal and about a month later, the same tooth cracked and became very painful. I walked in to make an appointment and I was seen immediately for a quick complimentary exam. The tooth needed to be extracted so they worked around my work schedule and fit me in 2 days later. The procedure was super fast and painless. Everyone did such an amazing job and the service was great. I will definitely be going back for future dentistry work.

I have been looking for a quality dentist for 6 years and have finally found one in Vista Dorado Dentist. 1st, Melissa the office manager is amazing! Before I was even an official patient she treated me as if I had been one for years. Dr. Roper is phenomenal! I had 2 root canals done and I couldn’t believe how easy and virtually painless they where. Jennifer, the dental hygienist is kind, personable and efficient! She made me laugh my entire visit. The rest of the staff there is amazing too, I cannot say enough about them. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

I have been going to Vista Dorada Dental for the past 3 to 4 years. I went to another provider in Phoenix who did a full oral exam and gave me a treatment plan for several thousands including a couple of implants. I decided to get a second opinion and was referred to Vista Dorada by a colleague. Dr Roper did an oral examine and gave me an treatment plan that was half what the other provider gave me. What impressed me more was, they prioritized it over two years to ensure that we got the maximum coverage from the insurance each year and also make it affordable for me. Since the treatment, I go there for my regular dental cleaning and have not had any dental issues. I highly recommend them.

Javier and Sarah took their time with cleanings for myself and two of my children and Dr. Roper is patient, kind and very thorough! I was referred here by a co-worker and it’s the best decision I have made since moving to AZ. It’s hard to find honest and trustworthy dentists and VDD is just that. They are kind hearted people that want the best for their customers and it shows in the pride they take and the work they deliver. Dr. McClaws and Dr. Roper are stand-up professionals and all around good people. The office staff always has a smile on their face and it’s very friendly. I see Javier and he’s a good dude. They have a Sirona machine that makes crowns in-house. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The office staff is friendly and the dental staff is so kind to our boys. We bring our whole family here. The kids actually do not dread going, which is rare. I never took care of my teeth and are very nervous and filled with fear when going to any dentist (should never watch the movie Marathon Man) but the team there is always helpful, nice and make me feel as much at ease as I ever will at a dentist office. I never write reviews like this but I absolutely feel this place deserves one. I went for the first time recently and loved it! Javier was my dental hygienist and he was fantastic!! He explained everything before he did it and described what the results meant as well. Dr. Roper came in and was so friendly as well! For someone as myself with extreme fears of the dentist I can not recommend Dr. Roper enough. He has truly changed my outlook on dental visits. Sad to say but I went decades without going simply because of anxiety… extreme anxiety!! But now I can easily say that I know Dr. Roper is a great man who understands my anxiety, is very friendly and gentle and is always there for me. Truly an outstanding dentist that I would HIGHLY recommend!!
