Dr. Lim and Felicia are awesome! (…) I came here to fix my overbite. I’m so happy I found this office because Dr. Lim exceeded my expectations. Not only did he only fix my overbite, but he improved the shape of my teeth, their alignment, and my overall bite. Like many other yelpers have said, Dr. Lim IS A PERFECTIONIST. He was very detail-oriented and dedicated to giving me the perfect smile, always making sure that every unrefined edge of my teeth was polished. I really appreciate his patience and kindness as well as his clear explanations of my Invisalign treatment process. Felicia, his dental assistant, is also super great! She’s so friendly and cheerful, I feel so welcomed every time! I am going to miss coming to this office monthly now that I have completed the Invisalign process. With that being said, I will definitely come back here to get my teeth cleaned or have any other work done in the future!

His assistant, Felicia, is also very helpful and has gone out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I sometimes have a bit of anxiety with dentists but they make a great team and have worked very well to make me feel taken care of. His pricing is also very reasonable so you can get the most out of it. Defintely recommend.

I have been coming here since 2002, and it takes me about an hour, sometimes an hour and a half depending on traffic and I will continue to make this commute because it is so worth it! Dr.Lim rules! Like most people I used to hate going to the dentist, and would avoid making appointments and going in general but not anymore. Dr.lim is very knowledgeable and will gladly answer any questions or concerns. He always makes sure I’m comfortable, before and even during the procedures. His staff is always! polite, cheerful, and on top of their stuff. Scheduling is a breeze, and the staff always calls to remind you 24 hours in advance, and are understanding if I need to cancel for whatever reason. Book an appointment, and you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Lim is the best dentist I’ve ever had! He is amazing. He is professional, friendly, and great at what he does. My family and I have been going to Dr. Lim for almost 8 years now and plan on staying with him as long as possible. I live an hour away from his office but gladly make the drive to Irvine to go see him because he really is such a great dentist! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! He is by far the best, most thorough dentist I’ve ever been to. He does his own cleaning and scaling. He explained everything that he was about to do and he was gentle and reassuring, always making sure I was comfortable. He is also very honest too. My last dentist said I needed a root canal but Dr. Lim said it wasn’t necessary and just filled the tooth after he looking at my X-rays. I’m so glad I found Dr. Lim. I completely trust him and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have been going to doctor Lim for about 5 years now. I was looking for a dentist who provided Invisalign near my work so appointments would be easy to go to on my lunch breaks. I was very pleased with the outcome and love my straightened teeth! I had a cleaning during my Invisalign treatment and was very impressed with his attention to detail and thoroughness, so I decided to change dentists to him full time. Recently I had veneers put on my two front teeth and they look amazing! I’m upset with myself that I put it off. Had I known the outcome I would have done it much sooner! All of his work is exceptional!

Dr. Lim did three of my crowns. At the time I wasn’t sure if he did a good job or not. The crowns looked just like all the other ones I had before. 6 years later, when my new dentist saw them, he complimented on those three crowns and not any other ones ( I have many crowns…sadly). That is when I realized Dr. Lim did an outstanding job. It has been about 10 years now since I got them. None of them shows the black ugly line (this happens if the crown is made too short or too thick, etc), but my newer ones from other dentists are already showing black lines. I will always go back to him for crowns in the future.

This is my second time here and I’d have to say that I don’t see myself changing dentists anytime in the near future. I got 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted today and I HATE shots but Dr. Lim and his team were very patient with me and everything went extremely smooth. On top of that, the cleaning and extraction only took an hour and 30 minutes. I didn’t feel any pain and appreciated his attention to detail. A pet peeve of mine is when the dentist and technician aren’t aware of when their tools or hands pinch my lips while they’re working but I didn’t experience any discomfort here; other than my mental psyche tripping me out. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for dental work/cleaning.

Dr Lim is got to be the best dentist out there. me and my family just love him he really cares about how you feel and wants the best for you and your teeth 🙂 in fact my son has been going to Dr.Lim since he was 4 and he will not go to any one else … He is great !!! He always get you in . Like most dentist you make a appt and go there and sit for a good hour. well Dr. Lim you don’t wait ….my family drives from Perris, CA just to see him cause he is that good I would drive a few hours if I had to for him he is that good NO JOKE !!!! Dr. Lim and Felicia provided EXCELLENT care for my boyfriend who was in horrible pain and without a personal dentist at the time. We took a chance on him and have zero regrets. Felicia who runs the office is very kind and we really appreciated her having Dr. Lim come in on his day off to help us (which we didn’t know was his day off at the time)…it was also very nice of Dr.Lim to do so. At the time my boyfriend didn’t have insurance so we had to pay out-of-pocket, but the prices were very fair and the dental work provided was good. This will now be the dentist my boyfriend will use moving forward. He was very afraid of the dentist from his past experiences and gave Dr.Lim a little hard time in the beginning but now raves about him to everyone. We highly recommend anyone who is in need of a good dentist that is also affordable.

(…) this review is loong overdue. I have been taking my family here since 2002, so for 15 years, Dr.Lim has been caring for my family. And of those 15 years, I’ve never had any problems. Dr. Lim is the only dentist I will ever trust with my families dental health. Dr.Lim is very knowledgeable in his field, and his work reflects it. His staff is always friendly, and professional. 10/10 I recommend Dr.Lim to everyone I know, even if it’s a bit of a drive it’s well worth it! Don’t waste your time anywhere else!

I went to see Dr. Lim earlier this year because my old crown had chipped off while chewing something hard. After the X-rays, he mentioned that my crowns were all very old and would need to get them replaced. I had a few root canals and crowns done about 20 years ago and had mistakenly thought that crowns were “forever” and that they didn’t need to be replaced. Oh boy, was I wrong and I sure was glad that Dr. Lim was meticulous enough to let me know! When we eventually got around to opening up one of the crowns, most of my real tooth had decayed and were in real bad shape (not to mentioned it smelled bad). He showed me that much of my real tooth had decayed and I was in real danger of losing what was left of my real tooth. Dr. Lim was really concerned about the condition of my teeth and carefully explained to me how I can take care of my teeth one by one and helped me to create a plan to eventually replace all my old crowns. As he worked through my old crowns over several months, each tooth was in a very bad shape, but Dr. Lim cleaned them out and got me set up with new crowns. Dr. Lim is very knowledgable and flexible and his team works really well together. I’m glad I found Dr. Lim and I would recommend him to anyone, especially to people who have bad teeth like me with old crowns. Get them checked by Dr. Lim, people!

I went to them for a second opinion and they got me in immediately for an unbearable pain on the whole left side of my mouth. I was in and out in about 30 minutes even as a new patient and a referral to the endodontist. They were super friendly and during the consult found out my insurance wasn’t covered but still made sure to get me the best care, my prescription, and referral taken care of. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Kevin Lim graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Master's degree in engineering. He, then, received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Lim has been a clinical instructor at Restorative division at USC dental school since 2004. Currently, he maintains his faculty status at USC. Dr. Lim distributes his time between private practice, teaching and voluntary community services. He has been a dental mission coordinator for the past four years and did voluntary dental services for the third world countries. Dr. Kevin Lim is a general dentist who provides implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry and preventive care at his private practice in Irvine, CA since 2002. Dr. Lim is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Orange Country Dental Society.
