Dr Preston and her team always deliver consistent, efficient and high quality care. I’ve been going to her practice for years and I have always been very pleased with my care. Recently, I decided to invest in Invisalign! I needed new retainers, but I had to correct a couple of crooked teeth that shifted over the years before a new set of retainers could be created. In two weeks, I will complete the treatment phase and I could not be more surprised or happy with the outcome. Invisalign was both affordable and a dream compared to the traditional orthodontics I suffered through as a teenager! I’m astonished at the outcome and am so looking forward to receiving my permanent retainers!

Callie is an amazing hygienist! So Gental and effective. She answered all of my questions and was nice and professional. Dr. Valerie Preston is the best! I have been going to her for about 19-20 years and I don’t plan on going anywhere else! She is very professional, honest, explains everything, is honest, & does great work! The staff is great and the ambiance truly calms anxiety. If you have anxiety upon any dental work, she has many things to sooth any your anxiety naturally. A blanket if you are cold, soothing music, diffusing essential oils, and they can also set you up to watch Netflix with earphones during a procedure. I usually bring my own earphones. I know. I’m in good hands at VP Dental!

Dr. Valerie Preston and her staff were outstanding during my initial visit! From the moment I stepped into the office, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I was apprehensive about this office visit, since most dental visits are painful for me, but I was quickly put at ease. The staff cared for me in a delicate, but efficient manner, taking into account the difficulties in my mouth. Dr. Preston took her time and thoroughly assessed my situation as other dentists failed to do. I didn’t feel like I was just another mouth the clean. This office is equipped with the latest in dental care and hygiene. I was also pleasantly surprised to see natural options such as coconut floss! Who does that? VPreston Dental is the best dentist I’ve ever had. When I talk to the dentist and staff, I know that they’re actually listening to what I am saying and really care about finding the best treatment for me. A lot of dentist are just thinking about their bottom line. Dr. Preston listened to me, did an evaluation, and then explained my options. I’ve been going to Valerie Preston for close to 7 years. I would just like to say, that it is seldom heard how much someone LOVES their dentist. But I DO! Dr Preston replaced a crown on one tooth and put a new crown on another tooth (same side of mouth) at the same visit. I am 3 day post visit and I can chew food with those new crowns. I have not been able to do that in 2 years. Cold and heat sensitivity is almost non existent. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Wow. I’m not sure how I could be treated better than the way Dr. Preston and her staff did with me. They were courteous and personable during my whole visit, and they work together as a team very well. There are no words to express what a truly wonderful dentist and awesome human being Dr. Preston is. After some bad experiences with other dentists in the area, I was blessed to find Dr. Preston. She has now been taking care of my teeth for over 10 years and I can’t say enough good things about her. She has done hours of restorative work on teeth that I thought would be lost and replaced by dentures a long time ago. Today those teeth are all still there and looking good! My teeth were very crowded together, brittle, jagged, and worn. The staff gently coaxed me over the course of two years to get them fixed before they started breaking which would entail an implant, something that was recommended I avoid if at all possible. Finally, I concurred and wore Invisilign braces for 6 months, then had my teeth built up with a resin compound. The results were amazing! My teeth look and feel so much better! Stronger, straighter, much more attractive. I am so glad they persisted in encouraging me to go this route. Totally worth it!

Dr. Preston is the best! Her and her staff are always so sweet and make myself as a patient feel so welcome with every visit. I’ve yet to meet a hygienist I didn’t like (shoutout to Leah). I recently moved to a different city but still drive to Dr. Preston for appointments… you will not receive better service than here. A year or two ago I chipped one of my front teeth and was told by my previous dentist that they could not fix it without shaving all of my teeth down. When I moved back to Raleigh and visited Dr. Preston, she was able to fix my tooth within my next visit! Can’t even tell it was ever chipped. If you’re looking for a great dentistry with even better customer service, you’ve found it!
