I was recommended to Dr. Wang from mutual friends and since he was nearby to my work, I decided to drop by before my insurance expired. When I walked in, I was immediately struck by his office; very tidy and clean. You can always tell how proud someone is of their place by how clean they keep their place, and so my first impressions were very good. We started up on the x-rays in the chair, and he was very calm and smooth; impressed by his calm demeanor, it instilled confidence in me that he knew what he was doing. This is something that you want when you meet a new doctor, dentists, mechanic, plumber…confidence. You want to be able to trust the person, and at that moment I knew I could trust him… So when I got into the chair and instead of listening to the drill making that terrible “nails on a blackboard” noise drilling into my teeth, he gave me some headphones so that I could watch a movie as he was working on my cavaties! Super cool! I have never seen this before! And during the entire procedure, he would stop to ask if everything was okay, and made sure I was comfortable or if my headphones were working…it was nice to know that he cared about his customers, rather than trying to rush me out like I was just a number in the line… On top of that, he was just very professional and was not pushy at all…he just gave me straight facts and told me the options. This is something I value highly because as a patient, you never know if you’re being taken advantaged of…but I totally trusted him because he didn’t try to sell me all these extra services. Very unique when everyone else is trying to make a quick buck. So thank you, Dr. Wang for your professionalism and your honesty. You have won over a life long customer.

I’ve been coming to this dentist office for a number of years and the doctor and staff are all exceptional. I’m leaving this review not simply because my appointment and procedure went smoothly but also to stress how much I respected the additional Covid protocols the staff have enacted. I felt completely safe and in good hands the whole time during my appointment.

I went in for my consultation on 12/17/19 after almost 3 years of not going to a dentist. I absolutely dread going to the dentist gets my anxiety up but I knew I had to go since of the pain I was going through. I called 1-800-DENTIST and they had me scheduled with this wonderful group. Front desk rep was very sweet and I didn’t have to wait long to get called back. The dental assistant was sweet and made me feel a bit better about being there. The dentist is a wonderful man and he cared about my concerns and getting me out of pain quick. After going over all my issues with my teeth I was taken to another room and met the clinic coordinator whom helped me with the process of getting approved for my treatment and accommodated most of all my treatment for one appointment. She understood my feelings of being in the dentist chair she scheduled me the very next day. I must say even though I was there all day even after the pain of those shots they made me feel like they really cared about how I was feeling and constantly asked if I needed a break or something to drink. Wish I had a before picture of how my teeth were compared to how they look now I feel so much better about smiling. I do have another appointment in 3 weeks and I feel great about. I HIGHLY recommend this office and I am thinking of bringing my kids here too.

I’ve seen Dr. Wang for years now and he’s always super friendly, honest, and gentle. The office staff is very professional and informative. The location is tucked away near the Galleria, and everything is new and modern inside. Dr. Wang seems to really care about my teeth and what needs to be done. I had a pain free experience and it goes by real fast with the TV’s on the ceiling. He really made sure all my questions were answered and that I felt comfortable the whole time. It is a big customer service difference from those large chain dentals like Monarch. I’ve been to those other places before and got tired of seeing a different dentist every time and no one knew my name. This office is open all week, even some appointments on Saturdays! I had to call once with a question and they got Dr. Wang to answer it right away even though it sounded real busy in the background. I now look forward to every cleaning appointment and know I’ll be getting great care!

Although I’ve been a client for a about a year I’ve decided to write a review now because during these trying times Dr Wang and his team have gone above and beyond to ensure patients have a safe environment. The office is full of air purifiers and particle vacuums. The dental staff wear respirators and face shields. What’s more despite the times the friendliness and professionalism of the team hasn’t waned one bit. Well done! I am a proud patient. Thank you.

This place is so good. Having to visit the dentist is one of the most mind-bending decision one has to make. It’s a luxury to afford the service yet here you are pinned down, mouth open while a stranger goes to town on your tender mouth with sharp objects. W Dental shined here. They made the whole process very smooth and painless. It is special to have that kind of work done while mitigating as much discomfort as possible. The woman who worked on me was very intuitive of adapting to any discomforts I had. If you’re sensitive with teeth and gum poking, you need to let them know. They’re more than happy to assist you, but you need to speak up if you’re fearing any part of the process. A++ Great job guys!

W Dental is top notch. For most of us, going to the dentist is more like a chore, but nonetheless it’s very important so we have to do it. W Dental and Dr. Wang made my experience as painless and pleasant as possible. The office is new, very clean, and accommodating. The wait area is clean and the patient rooms are very comfortable and patient friendly with magazines stocked and lcd screens raised above you as you lie down and face the ceiling. On my visit, Dr. Wang set the above lcd to a netflix movie and I just watched the movie while he cleaned my teeth. He was also able to project my x-rays on the screen and explain to me clearly what he was seeing. He was very thorough and that is probably the most important factor I look for in any health professional. We have all had the doctor visit where we waited an hour for a visit of 5 minutes. Dr. Wang is not that kind of doctor. Dr. Wang was very thorough and took his time. Moreover, based upon my experiences, I think the office equipment he has at his disposal allows him to be more thorough in his service and communication in a way that other dentists may not be able to. Lastly, his staff was very friendly and the customer service was great. My experience was very professional, pleasant, friendly, thorough, and fast. And that’s all I really look for in a dentist visit. I’ll definitely keep going and I’d easily recommend W Dental.

I chose Dr. Wang when I moved to Dallas in 2018 based on reviews and location. I have not been disappointed. Dr. Wang and staff are friendly and professional. Previous appointments for cleaning and checkups were great. I recently broke a tooth. They were able to fit me in fast and got me fixed up with a temporary crown right away. It was a bit of work, but they made sure I was OK and not in pain. Dr. Wang followed up personally the next day. I am in good shape now. Covid protocols are good. You wait in your car until they are ready for you. There was no one in the waiting room and everybody was masked.

I have been searching for a Dentist that I’m comfortable with for years here in DFW. I could tell you a bunch of stories about the awful experiences that I’ve had. Mostly I have found that many Dentists will try to get me to do $1,000s of dollars of work before they would even get me on an annual maintenance plan, and I have never even had a cavity in my whole life. Dr. Wang is super professional, his office is very nice (don’t let the old strip mall outside discourage you), and the staff couldn’t be any nicer or more educated! Dr. Wang has gotten me on track with a plan to get me to annual maintenance with very little out of pocket expense (after insurance). He also personally calls me the day after to make sure that everything is as expected and to see if I have any follow-up questions. I can’t say enough how great they all are – gentle, kind and very personable. I almost didn’t want to write this review because I want W Dental to be my little secret so that I can easily get an appointment.

Very happy to have found W Dental and Dr Wang on my iPhone!!  The staff is friendly and the office is nice. Dr Wang is friendly. Made me feel total comfortable and answered all my questions before I started.  The wait time was short and the waiting room is nice.  I found him using Zocdoc app on my iPhone.  Great free app- its like open table for doctors.  Its so cool you can book a appointment on your phone for Dr Wang. His staff looked up insurance and had everything presented to me so there were no surprise bill.  Tv on the tv was so cool too… Made my appointment comfortable and before you know it, treatment was completed.  Shot wasn’t bad at all and everything went smoothly.  Great dentist and staff, will recommend to my co workers, family and friends.

I was recommended to W Dental by my long term dentist (who moved to Houston) for my next scheduled appointment. It took me some time to trust my dentist after past horrible experiences from other dental offices…so I was guarded and hesitant to go to W Dental. But after meeting with Dr. Wang, he instantly gained my trust because of his professionalism and dedication. Very seldom do you meet a health professional who doesn’t just provide excellent service but truly cares about their patient. Dr. Wang not only took his time to explain what dental work I need but he addressed all my concerns. He is truly dedicated in providing excellent care for his patients. I was glad to have gone to W Dental as recommended by my long term dentist – that just tells me how Dr. Wang is also respected and trusted by his colleagues! I feel like I found a new dentist! It’s been about a year since I started having work done by W Dental. It’s been a pleasant experience every time I drop by for my routine check-up. The staff is very thorough with explaining everything from procedure and planning to insurance. Maybe it’s just me, but I have never had a dentist make follow-up calls after more intricate work, like deep cleaning and fillings, to make sure I was not having any complications post-operation. I’d rate this higher for going above and beyond!

I have been a patient for several years. Dr. Wang and the staff always treat me like family and its like a reunion every time I’m seen. Very professional and friendly staff. My dental cleaning and exam were thorough. I feel that Dr. Wang and his staff practiced enhanced safety procedures designed to keep me safe during my visit. I feel confident in choosing W Dental for my dental needs.

I went to W Dental for 4 fillings and a cleaning this morning. I’m a new patient and found them on Yelp. I’ve been to 7 different dentists throughout my life (I’ve moved around a lot) and received many fillings over the years. This is the best dental office I’ve visited, hands down. Here’s why…. 1. I felt welcome before I even set foot in the door. When I called to schedule my appointments last month, Sharon assisted me and was very patient with all of my questions. In addition, she made every effort to accommodate my weird schedule. 2. I’m a baby when it comes to dental work. It freaks me out. The staff didn’t make me feel bad about this at all. They gave me the option to use laughing gas, watch TV and/or listen to music during my appointment so I wouldn’t be as stressed out by the sound of the drill. 3. Dr. Wang was very attentive and didn’t rush through the appointment. He listened to my concerns before he started and patiently explained everything that he would be doing. He was very gentle with his drilling and checked in with me frequently to see how I was feeling. My teeth are pretty sensitive so he took short breaks from drilling. That helped significantly! He also didn’t try to sell unnecessary products/services, which I greatly appreciated. 4. These guys are organized! There were no surprises with my billing/coverage because they had all my insurance stuff figured out beforehand. Furthermore, I liked receiving a text message confirming my appointment two days prior. 5. Their office is clean, quiet and relaxing. The atmosphere is soothing and peaceful. I’m actually relocating to Houston in a few months and will not be in Dallas anymore. I had such a positive experience with Dr. Wang and his staff that I would consider making the drive to Dallas to have them do my dental work in the future. Overall, Dr. Wang and his staff are very patient focused and strive to deliver the best experience possible. I highly recommend them!

First time I have been a to dentist for a real check up in over 20 YEARS!!! I know…I am horrible. I have always taken care of my teeth…and dont eat a ton of sweets. I did go to the dentist about 10 years ago…just to get my wisdom teeth pulled. SO I am scared to see what maybe wrong with my teeth!! I walk in the office…and its super nice consider the strip mall outward appearance. Its a small office and felt welcomed there. Dr Wang has a setup where you can listen to Pandora or watch a movie while he does his work. I got my xrays done and found out I have a baby tooth still and the adult tooth is incased. I ended up with no cavities and a deep deep cleaning!! Not bad. Dr Wang himself followed up to see how I was doing after my deep cleaning. I didnt call him back since I was doing great. Def recommend this dentist to all my friends that live in the area or beyond.

I’ve been going to W Dental since I moved to Texas nearly three years ago and I’ve recommended them to everyone who asks. Easy to schedule (and they’re very understanding of when Dallas traffic makes you a little late lol), thorough but gentle cleaning, no pressure to get services you don’t need or want. I love that they email you your treatment plan after the appointment so you are always in control, no surprises! Dr. Wang is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and never judgmental. He is good at explaining what’s going on and what you need to do, but never pressures you to do anything you aren’t ready for. For example, he suggested two or three visits in a row that I have a space closed to avoid food getting stuck there, but didn’t push it when I procrastinated it. When I finally got it closed he did an awesome job and even texted and called over the next few days to make sure I was doing ok. Great patient care all around. If you need a new dentist, GO TO W DENTAL!

I found W dental here on yelp 2 years ago through reading all the great patient reviews. I had a very bad filling done on my front tooth from another dental clinic chain in Dallas and I was hoping to find a better dentist to fix that front tooth. I decided to take my chances at getting it fixed here at W Dental and Dr. Wang happily accommodated me. Dr. Wang is very friendly, gentle, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He explains everything thoroughly and does an amazing job on all the services he offers at his dental clinic. Dr. Wang fixed my problematic front tooth and it turned out looking beautiful! Ever since that first visit, my family of five have been going to Dr. Wang for all our dental needs. The staff is always very friendly and appointments are always on time. After every visit, Dr. Wang always calls to follow up on you. I am always excited to recommend Dr. Wang to all my family and friends and YOU should go to W Dental too!!!

Great experience at W Dental! Great staff and Dr. Wang was very accommodating and thoughtful. I had an emergency with my crowning over a weekend, but Dr. Wang was willing to see me when the office was closed and made follow up calls to check up on me afterward. Very grateful for his dedication.

I recently got referred to Dr Wang from a friend and could not be happier. The office is close to the Galleria in a strip mall. The strip mall versus the interior of the office is almost completely night and day. The area is a bit older but the office itself is very modern and nicely decorated. First thing I noticed upon entering is that it smelled very pleasant and is super clean and homey. The staff is friendly and Dr Wang is very amiable and approachable. He answered all my questions and alleviated all my concerns. Like most, I was apprehensive about trying out a new doctor but he is calm and made me feel at ease about the switch. The staff really takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable. I like that they remind me about my appointment through text message and I can book my appointment with the zocdoc app on my phone. So convenient! I would definitely recommend W Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I will admit, when it comes to the self maintenance of my teeth, I’m not exactly on the Tooth Fairy’s honor roll… …that said, like anyone, I am apprehensive and nervous about going to see the dentist. My previous dental work had been free due to my active service in the Air Force, since I have been retired, I have not had regular checkups. After 10 years of chewing ice and gorging myself on sugary foods, it was time for a visit… My fiancee finally twisted my arm and got me to go… (she also threatened me with cutting me off ____ for a week), so I eagerly googled the nearest dental practitioner. Throwing the google dart randomly in the city made me feel a little uneasy, but we went anyways. I was pleasantly surprised, the receptionists were ridiculously good looking and polite, they filed my paperwork and kept eye contact with me with a sense of purpose… needless to say, I was overcome with a sense of manliness. *the plot thickens* The dentist’s last name is actually “Wang”… which I expected because asians excel in the medical and dental careers… what I didn’t realize was Wang D.D.S. was actually a personal friend of mine… when we saw each other, we were both caught off guard. Knowing it was a person that I already trusted put me at ease in the face of the bloody drill/scrape-fest that was to come. And that my friends, is the point of my review… he is simply a nice guy that you can not only talk to, but he is a master of his craft. It was the smoothest, pain free procedure, he was friendly, and kept me informed of everything that was happening as he worked his magic. You don’t have to know him personally to be at ease in his office, he has a professional demeanor about him that makes you feel comfortable, and a steady gentle hand that will bring a soothing experience do both your mouth and soul. As the drill was doing it’s work, I was actually zoned out watching the HDTV he provides on the ceiling… and it’s quite a selection of all the major paid streaming services, so whatever you want to watch, he can provide, including top-of-the-line bluetooth headphones to distract you from the sound of the oral excavations. I have another appointment in the works… and I am not worried a bit, it’s going to be just like hanging out with a friend while I catch up on my favorite shows. Pain free, stress free, dental bliss and my teeth feel great! *If you go to youtube and listen to Nelly’s song “Let me see your Grille”, and reread this review, it is waaaay more entertaining. I was sober when I wrote this.

I wasn’t expecting a response when I dropped my update a couple weeks ago. Heck it had been two years and I had quietly left and given up… However, the same night on my way home from work, Dr. Wang called my cell from his personal cell. He was adamant that he would do “whatever it takes to make it right” and he meant it. I couldn’t really talk then as I was driving so he asked when we could talk again and like clock work he called me himself and again reaffirmed his commitment to making me a happy patient and fixing everything. When’s the last time you got a personal call from your actual doctor or dentist? I rest my case. As he said, he’s not a conglomerate or a chain. It’s his business and his name and his reputation that make or break the whole deal. He’s committed to long term relationships and gives his personal cell phone to his patients with a 24/7 attitude to availability. I don’t see that anywhere else in today’s society except maybe a couple very high end establishments like a St. Regis or The Ritz. It was impressive and humbling. I am so used to the transactional bargain basement world of mega companies who hide behind websites and walls with no way to talk with a real person that I almost forgot what it could and should be like to deal with a business. It was refreshing. Dr. Wang truly cares and gives 100% of himself to his patients. He went way above and beyond my expectation and for that I’m grateful and once again a loyal and happy patient.

I love W Dental. You heard me. I love the DENTIST. I came to Dr. Wang’s office after a terrible experience with another dental office (money hungry, procedure pushing … but that’s for a different review! *cough* ideal dental *cough*) and I have been going to him ever since, for about almost 3 years now. The office is very clean and orderly, and the staff always professional. The hygienist is very kind and upbeat, even for my first in the morning appointments! Dr. Wang is very personable and friendly – rare in my experience! I’m used to the dentist coming in the office and rummaging around in my mouth for a few minutes, speaking only to the hygienist and then leaving unless something needed to be done. Dr. Wang answers any and all questions I have, looks into concerns, and doesn’t find the need to fix it if it ain’t broke! (Again, I’ve had experiences at offices where they told me I needed fillings and they were just drilling and filling stains! I only want to pay toward my dang deductible if I absolutely have to, thankyouverymuch!) They have a TV on the ceiling and glasses to put on since you’re facing the light while they work. It’s very comfortable and makes the cleaning and checkup go by quickly, which isn’t even necessary since the visit is so pleasant. I’ve only had one instance where they needed to reschedule my appointment due to an office emergency, and they apologized and gave me a Starbucks gift card, which was unnecessary but very appreciated! Thank you to Dr. Wang and his staff!!

Very clean and safe environment. They’ve checked my temperature both times that I went in. They are very polite, good customer service, they ask for questions and explain what they’re doing. They are also clear about prices. They also have TVs in the ceiling and let you request something to watch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.
