Painless dentistry by “the best in the field”. Just had a crown repair By DR. Wassell….not a moment of discomfort and an hour after, Still no pain. This group really care about their patients and do Everything possible to make a dental visit a pleasant experience. While you wait in their comfortable waiting room, there’s coffee, tea, Condiments, bottled water, latest mags and papers, beautiful aquarium. But you must come early to enjoy those cause your wait time is always Minimal. They’re equipped with the latest technology and every single Person there will fast seem like a good friend. I highly recommend Them and honestly, look forward to future appointments.

The way we usually find a doctor or dentist is to use our handy-dandy insurance companies recommendation and go to the closest office to our home or work. In the past, this usually makes for us being satisfied with our service. But this time? We hit the dentist jackpot! My husband was the one that went first for his cleaning and to get a crown fixed. A crown that the last dentist had done and then fixed for about 2 months and still never got it right. Guess what? One visit with this office and my husband has no issues with his crown. I slacked on keeping up with my teeth…and I knew this so it was no surprise when I had a handful of cavities and a scaling that needed to be done. The best part? Dr. Wassel is a pro at giving a shot. No kidding, I never felt a thing. Even when he states it will sting for a second, you don’t feel it. I also liked that I never had to wait for hours after my appointment time to be seated. And the fillings were done fast! They do a lot of in house work here, so you won’t have to drag out your appointments which is nice. Time is money and they apparently take that seriously here. So satisfied that we had them see my son. They will definitely be keeping our business! I have a crown that also needs fixing and I am sure to be happy with it wh

This place is great! I had a problem with a filling that another dentist in Charlotte had filled and they worked me in immediately. Not only did they fix my pain but they pointed out additional issues that were missed. Dr. Wassel is thorough and he explains to you what you need to maintain proper oral health care. I drive from downtown Raleigh to see these guys in North Raleigh and I wanted go anywhere else.

I have been a patient at Wainright & Wassel for 19 years. The dentists, hygienists and administrative staff are professional, kind and compassionate. In addition to standard checks and cleanings, I’ve had old fillings replaced, whitening treatment and beautiful porelain veneers placed on my two front teeth. Everything is done with excellence!

Time for my semi-annual checkup and cleaning. Karen, my dental hygienist, does and outstanding job cleaning my teeth with instruments instead of the pressure washer method that feels like you are being drowned. Karen also finds some abnormalities that may need attention and also recommends procedures or products to make my teeth healthier. I have been going to Wainwright since 1985 and will continue to do so.

I did not go to the dentist for a long time due to lack of insurance and financial issues. This not only took a toll on my teeth, but also on my self-esteem. I knew my teeth and gums were unhealthy and I didn’t like my smile, but I still did not go. Fear also kept me from going to the dentist. I have had previous bad experiences and although I wasn’t happy with myself, nothing hurt, so I put off going to the dentist and told myself I’ll go soon. Soon didn’t come soon enough and I had a toothache. I knew I had to be seen. After getting a great recommendation for this practice from Shane Jones, I decided to try them. I was teary-eyed and embarrassed when I called for an appointment. I didn’t want anyone to see how badly I had neglected my teeth. From the time I called in May to make my first appointment until now, I have become a loyal patron of Wainright and Wassel DDS. They are not only very professional, they are also very knowledgeable about new technological advances and have always taken great care of me. I fear pain, but Dr. Wassel always ensures I am comfortably numb (lol) before any procedure. Janise and all of the staff there are wonderful and very supportive, especially with scared patients! From the time I enter for my appointment until I leave I feel like I am a part of a very kind family who is there to support me throughout any procedure I have done. I have never had pain during a procedure and my pain, if I ever have any after a procedure, has been managed as well. I rarely have pain after procedures, but there are some procedures, like today’s tooth extraction, that will inevitably be sore afterwards. I will not stop going until I get as close as I can to how my teeth were before I started neglecting them and then I will keep going to maintain my teeth. If you want professional, knowledgeable people who are also kind, funny, and take the fear out of dentistry, this is the place to go. I would recommend the practice to anyone (and I do all the time). I just can’t say thank you enough for all the genuinely kind people who got me in the door and have kept me coming back. There is no reason to associate anything but positive things with dentistry at this practice. If you’re looking for a new dentist where you will be taken care of like you are family, look no further. I highly recommend Wainright and Wassel DDS and am grateful to everyone who has helped me get my smile and my self-esteem back. I just wish I had found them sooner. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed. I’m feeling better than I ever have and I thank Dr. Wassell, Janise, and all of the staff there for caring about their patients and about what they do. We really love Wainwright and Wassell. They take such good care of us and our kids. They way they deal with the pediatric aspect is amazing. My daughter had to do a tooth extraction today and they took such great care of her and were so encouraging and concerned for her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Wassel and his team have been awesome with our entire family. We’ve been going there for years now and highly recommend the practice. My daughter has numerous issues with her teeth (weak enamel, no space, etc) and she has been cared for so well, since a young age, that she never once complains or worries about going for a checkup because they make it a pleasant, positive, and fast experience. The hygienists are kind and gentle, and Dr. Matt is professional and funny so kids feel at ease. The office is comfortable and tastefully arranged so you might forget you’re at a dentist’s office – you can watch TV while you’re in the chair! They do a lot to make sure your experience is a good one. I definitely recommend this practice to others. I wrote this review all on my own because we had another great checkup today.

My father and I have been patients here for five years.  Far and away, this is the best, friendliest and most comprehensive dental treatment we have ever received.  Dr. Wassel and Janise are fantastic and do a great job of making sure I am comfortable and well-informed as to what procedure they are performing.  They work together as a great team which makes me feel more at ease and relaxed.  Just what I want when sitting in a dentist’s chair!  They are both always observant to ensure that my visit is pain-free – and I totally appreciate that!  The entire staff is very friendly, helpful and caring.  I really like the fact that the practice provides so many services, including getting a new crown placed in just one visit. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for friendly, state-of-the-art dental care.  In fact, my brother recently moved into the area and he is now also a patient there.
