I too had Solhaug and Wallace recommended to me. From my first visit, the staff and dentists were professional, yet personable. Most of the assistants and hygienists have been with the practice for many years. I appreciate the phone and email reminders of appointments; the way my insurance coverage is handled. Over the years I’ve been attended to by both dentists and they always keep me informed of what’s going on with my teeth, what my choices are to  correct or fix any situation. I appreciate the openness, the advise given. I know I am in good hands. I would happily recommend this dental practice to anyone who asked.

Dr. wallace and his staff are top notch! I have been a dental assistant for 34 years and very picky about my dental work. Dr. Wallace in not only highly skilled, knowledgeable, and a perfectionist but he’s gentle, kind, patient (I’m not an easy patient) and honest! He is the best at delivering anesthetic – you won’t feel a thing. His long term staff should speak volumes about what kind of person he is. They are ALL friendly and make you feel so welcome. I highly recommend Dr. wallace and his staff!

I started going to Dr. Wallace upon the recommendation of a good friend who spoke very highly of both him and Dr. Solhaug. Since then, i have seen both doctors and they are both equally skilled and have a great bedside manner. Dr. Wallace is especially understanding of my errr…nervousness and has taken extra time to make sure my teeth are good and numb before having to fix a cavity. This made for an absolutely pain free experience that I have never had at ANY other dental clinic. The dental hygienists are also fabulous and highly professional. I appreciate that they allow me to just close my eyes while they’re working and not try to engage me in conversation while they’re cleaning. I would recommend Dr’s Wallace and Solhaug to absolutely anyone who needs a dentist! I keep moving further and further away, but will always make the trip to Eastlake for my dental care.

Have been going here for many years and have always had a wonderful experience. The front desk is always friendly and helpful and the hygienists are gentle and thorough. I have been coming to Wallace and Solhaug for 6 years at least. This is the dental practice I wish I had found the moment I graduated from uni. I’ve moved all over the city but I will not change where I get my dental work done. This practice is just such a good fit. The front of house, Roylene, is so organized and welcoming. Gena, my hygienist, is so great. She sees dozens of patients a week but makes you feel comfortable as if you were old pals. Her work is exceptional! Dr. Wallace has done wonders for my teeth. He’s repaired cracked teeth from basketball injuries and you’d never notice. He’s a pros pro. I’ve recommended friends and coworkers here and all of them have had a wonderful experience. The practice is super clean and conveniently located to I5 and 520. Plus there’s a great French bakery across the street… added bonus for keeping on top of your dental hygiene. I’m a huge fan of these guys, highly recommended.

My family started seeing Dr. Solhaug (Senior) when I was a child. When we moved back to Seattle in 1992, I immediately looked up their office and we’ve been happy to be back with them. We live up in Woodinville but it’s worth it to go to Seattle for our dentistry needs, so we can go to their office. We started seeing Dr. Wallace when Dr. Solhaug (the elder) retired, and have been delighted with his work as well. I haven’t seen Dr. Pamela Solhaug personally but have heard good things about her. As others here have said, it’s fabulous to have a dentist who never upsells, is always straightforward about what my options are and what the tradeoffs will be for different choices, and who does excellent work. Terry has been our regular hygienist and she’s is great. I have to laugh at whoever it was who said she was kooky! She’s delightful and I look forward to our visits twice a year. But the other hygienists there are great too,so it’s easy to find someone who matches well with your needs. Love the friendly and efficient front desk staff too. It’s a well-run outfit that does quality work, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. –Stacia Snapp

To be honest, I want to switch to a dentist closer to my home, or to a female (because I truly like giving professional women my business) but I just do not want to leave this practice. Dr. Wallace is a great dentist. His front desk staff are always friendly. My teeth (and my family’s teeth) are clean and the work he suggests is always reasonable. I do not feel jerked around. At this place I get quality, consistently professional care. I highly recommend this place.

I have seen a lot of dentists in my life, but I have been a patient of Dr. Wallace for more than 20 years because of the knowledge and the care that goes into his practice of dentistry. I feel informed and consulted every step of the way. My only concern is that one day he will retire!

After moving to Seattle in 2008 – I was nervous about going to a new dentist (I had a traumatic experience with dentists as a child).  A friend suggested Dr. Wallace and she was right.  The atmosphere is warm, modern, and friendly.  The office staff and hygenists are very nice and helpful.  I once had an issue with my insurance and they figured it out without a problem.  Dr. Wallace is friendly and professional – he offers suggestions about preventative tooth care for the future but it not pushy.  You get a toothbrush at the end of your visit – which is always a plus!

I have been going to Wallace and Solhaug since my first tooth. They are fantastic and have only gotten better over the years. TV screens over every seat if you want to zone out. Excellent conversation if you like to talk to your hygienist. I did not have insurance for 3 years and I didn’t consider going to someone slightly less expensive even for a minute. They were great at giving me discounts for paying upfront. They recommended only the services I REALLY needed until I got insurance. I can’t say enough!

Gina is my fav hygienist. I screen dental office by hygienist even before dentist cuz my teeth are in good shape so I mainly go for twice annual cleanings. Dr. Wallace is very professional and very very good at what he does. I know I am in good hands and I fully trust the office. Front desk Roylene and Vivian are very efficient and easy to work with. I highly recommend this office

I just had a filling today. Dr. Wallace was very kind when I said I am someone who doesn’t numb very easily. He properly numbed me and my filling went smoothly and it seemed very efficient. They checked in as they worked, making sure I felt comfortable. After dreading this appointment all week, I came home with a lop-sided, but very happy smile because it went so well! Thank you!

Very professional, organized and friendly staff! Dr. Wallace provides top tier service. I have visited Wallace & Solhaug for the past 7 years and could not be happier. Dr. Wallace set up my Invisalign program which made some great corrections without having to have braces as an adult. I highly recommend this office to all my family and friends.

I have been going here for a few years and there are a lot of reasons to like this place. Schedule appointments via email, limited waiting and parking is always available. Dr. Wallace doesn’t try to sell you any procedure that isn’t necessary and takes the time to explain the how and the what without condescension. Tomas Gahan

Dr Wallace is a great dentist, with a super team of hygienists who will tend to your pearly whites.  He’s competent, low-key, no-nonsense, won’t do anything unnecessary and won’t waste your time or money.  A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and you really don’t want to mess around with budget dentistry.  Avoid the auburn curly-haired hygienist (Terry?) –  she’s weird.  All the others are top notch;  Sharon is my favorite.

Three generations of our family are loyal patients of both Drs. Wallace & Solhaug.  Both dentists, and the hygenist and office staff, are top-notch in ability, personality, and professionalism.  I consider myself a patient of both Dr. Charles Wallace and Dr. Pamela Sohaug, and feel equally at ease being seen by Dr. Wallace and Dr. Solhaug.  Our dental hygenist, Terry, is wonderful.  My two children are super excited to visit the dentist, and start clamoring for their appointments about six weeks before they happen.  That is an ultimate credit to this fine dental practice.  The office staff is excellent: friendly and professional.  It is a privilege to recommend Drs. Wallace & Solhaug!

This team is so efficient, so nice, and so responsive to their patients – I have recommended them to friends and collogues alike. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. and I’ve been a part of this practice since 1964, as have my children. Wallace and Solhaug and Terri, and this team is amazing.
