There is no medical professional I like seeing the least than the dentist. I’ve been so nervous due to a past traumatic experience that it always ends up being a few years in between visits. After an insurance change, I had to find a new dentist and I was told about this group by a coworker. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze and the lady I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. As the day approached, I was very nervous. From the moment I walked in, the staff was so kind and tried to make my visit comfortable. Although xrays are never fun, the technician made them more tolerable than I ever remember them to be. Meeting Dr. Kansagra was definitely the highlight of my visit (I can’t believe I’m saying that about a dentist!). She had great chairside manner and was so thorough and patient in explaining my dental condition. Being able to see my teeth via high tech xrays and photos was eye opening. Lesson learned….neglecting my teeth only leads to more work being needed. I had several cavities and deep cleaning addressed and still need to return for a root canal. Although going to the dentist will never be an easy thing for me, Dr. K and the staff at Walnut Dental have eased my fear enough that I will be returning for regular visits. Thank you!!!!

So I recently went to Walnut Dental Group and I just have to say how amazing the staff and the Doctor was. I completely felt welcomed as soon as I walked in and can definitely say I was well taken care of throughout my visit. Marisol, the treatment coordinator was simply amazing she got me checked in and I was able to get my X-rays. Cecilia, who took them was quick and definitely knew what she was doing. Dr. Bindu was also amazing, not only did she look at my teeth but she took the time to explain and give me lots of feedback in regards to the health of my teeth (something I did not get my old dentist). Finally the hygienist there, Maritza, deep cleaned my teeth and I cannot believe how fresh, and clean my teeth are and how relaxed my gums feel right now. I experienced pain at times but she was very attentive and was asking often whether I needed her to stop. Thanks to her I know now why visiting the dentist is painful, if you do not take care of your teeth properly you will experience pain and discomfort but if you follow your routine check ups you will not have to worry about enduring pain. And to those who complain , you cannot have best of both worlds. If you do not want to go through pain, keep your teeth and gums nice and clean!!! I sure learned my lesson and will definitely will keep coming back 😀

The doctor I’ve seen for cavities and basic teeth issues, she’s been great and my endo doctor is amazing too. Best, easiest, fastest root canal and fillings, inlays/onlays. And I’ve had plenty. First things first. Most people don’t look forward to going to the dentist and that is something that is truly relate-able. But with walnut dental they treat everyone like they are your friendly neighbors. After dealing with dental anxiety, I finally had to cave after moving from San Diego about a year ago, to find a new dentist. These guys had no problem with me coming in with my miriad of dental issues in short notice and even squeezed me in the same day for 1. an emergency root canal and 2. they watched my two young girls during that procedure. I started going to Walnut dental about a month ago after switching dentist for a 3rd time. I was seen by Dr. Bhindu and just wanted to say Thanks! I had a few dental issues and couldn’t find a long-term solution. Dr. Bhindu gave me not only took care of my current dental needs, but also advice on what she called preventative care. She saw things my other dentists didn’t and went above and beyond to help. Just these small changes in the past month have helped significantly.
When I walked into the office, it was nice to see equipment from this era and not the 1980’s. This gave me comfort knowing I was being treated with latest in technological advancement.

Dr. Bindu came in for a consult in a timely manner. She was detailed and informative about my pocket measurements and my X-ray readings.
I had my cleaning done by the hygienist, Joyce.

I have been coming here since I was a kid with my family. Everyone is really chill and know me well. Dr. Bindu has always been helpful. I have had 2 root canals here and I had braces when I was younger. I get my cleanings here and the hygienist was very gentle and charismatic. Her name was Joyce. Joyce explained what she was doing and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I was numb throughout the process. Definitely come here. The staff is great. Ceci did my whitening trays impressions. She’s awesome and quick. She didn’t make me gag, which was a plus.

I’ve been coming to Walnut Dental Group for several years. The staff is friendly and attentive. They explain insurance, billing, and the procedures in detail. I love that they use up to date equipment and they are paperless.
I had a root canal and crown a few months ago, this first dental work of any kind I’ve had. I was nervous because I’ve heard how terrible root canals are. To my delight, it was a breeze. They made sure I was numb enough and checked with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. I returned to work and did not experience any discomfort the rest of the day.
I highly recommend Walnut Dental Group. I recently moved several hours away but I still come to my visits here because I love it so much. They are open on Saturdays!!!

This is hands down my favorite dentist for the past 6-7 years. Dr. Bindu is very good at what she does compared to other dentist I’ve had in the past. I have had many bad experiences with root canals and their endodontist is the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel a thing and he was done in about 45 minutes. Trust me I’ve had 7-8 root canals done and by far they do the best job. The receptionist there are very friendly especially Marisol and are knowledgeable. And with my circumstance they really want out of the way to help me with a payment plan. Thanks!

My whole life, I have never been fond of going to the dentist. I have been pleasantly surprised by Walnut Dental Group. I left my last dentist because they were unfriendly, rough and treated me more like a number than a person. My initial contact with the office went fairly smooth. They were very helpful in ensuring that my insurance would be accepted and have always been upfront and transparent when it has come to billing. The front office is full of happy ladies who always greet you upon entering with a smile and get you checked in in a very timely manner. Every time I go in, the office is very busy, but the staff seems to work in a very efficient manner and they all seem happy to be there and to see you. The Dr. Bindu is very informative and does not mind explaining and showing you what is going on with your dental health.The exams are always thorough. She uses X-rays, photos and measurements even a mirror. Being able to actually see the problem she is talking about is huge as most dental concerns are not something you feel in the earlier stages. The hygienist, Kylie, is so patient and gentle. I have been getting cleanings all my life and never felt this relaxed during the procedure. Overall, this is a great place. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

I have been going to Walnut Dental Group for almost two years. Dr. Bindu Kansagra is amazing! She is very personable, thorough, explains everything to help improve oral health, and always budget-friendly (even gives oral health gifts with every cleaning). My dental hygienist Kylie is wonderful! I have very sensitive teeth and each cleaning I’ve felt no pain. She also gives me advice with having sensitive teeth and gums, such as toothpaste as well as using the custom trays rather then the whitening strips (used in the past very painful) and the Zoom (always not recommended for sensitive teeth). The front office staff are always welcoming and quick to review/complete the consent forms, itemized payment (emailed or printed for your records), and check your insurance coverage to see how often you’re able to come for cleanings. My favorite is Marisol as she consistently will fit me in at the last minute even on their once a month Saturday appts. As long as I live in Orange County I’ll be driving to this location. You’ll never be disappointed!!
