I have been a patient for about 3 years since my prior dentist retired. I’ve been very pleased with the entire practice. They’re always pleasant and efficient. There’s no waiting and visits are quick with no wasted time. They don’t seem to push unnecessary add-ons like some practices do, and their charges seem reasonable and comparable to other practices. Overall I would highly recommend them.

I was a first time patient looking for a convenient place to get my teeth cleaned and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire on boarding process through their dental app. I was in and out of my cleaning in less than 30 minutes and they have all the state of the art equipment to clean teeth quick and efficient. In the past I’ve had a hard time committing to a dentist’ office, but since I started going to Wando Family Dentistry last year, I have finally found an office that I love! As much as it pains me (yep) to say nice things about a dentist, I really have to recommend Dr. Hund and his entire staff. Finding a new dentist when you move is hard enough, but having to find a new dentist who will deal with your dental fear/paranoia after you’ve finally broken in your old dentist can seem impossible. I have now been through regular check ups, a crown replacement, and dealing with a broken tooth with Dr. Hund. At all times, he (and everyone else in the office) was kind, patient, and understanding. I’ve spent a lot of time in a dentist’s chair and been through a lot of dentists and I can honestly say this has been the best practice I’ve ever been to.

Just took my eldest child to WFD again for 6 month appt. and couldn’t be happier! We have been going since 2014 & the staff is always friendly, & helpful, & knowledgable in every way possible. Dr Hund worked in a pediatric office prior to having his own office & is very good with children SO no need to drive to different offices all over town! just moved here from chicago couple months ago. came in for a teeth cleaning/check up. serena the hygienist was super friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and the teeth cleaning was not uncomfortable at all. dr hund took his time as well in explaining source of sensitivity and gave me options as well. i didnt feel like they were out to get your money but looking out for their patients. i also didnt feel hurried as i did in the chicago dental world b/c they have so many patients to see. i recommend them based on this first experience !!

Is the ‘Wando’ in Wando Family Dentistry a misspell? I think the word is ‘Wonderful’ or at least that was my experience. My daughter lives in the area and was able to arrange an emergency, same day, visit with Dr. Hund, for me. while I was here for a Christmas visit. He identified the issue, gave me some options, and was able to give me a prescription that would help until I got to my regular dentist. Excellent service. The entire staff was friendly. Dr. Hund and his staff have shown me that they truly do care about their patients. I recently had an issue with their off hours answering service that did not do a good job of passing on my call when I was having a dental emergency. However, once I was able to talk to the office directly, Dr. Hund and his staff went out of their way to get my dental problem taken care of. Furthermore, I understand that steps were taken with the answering service to ensure these problems don’t happen again. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Hund and the Wando Family Denistry Practice. From the first phone call to set up the appointment, I had a length and nice conversation with Sam. Which was a great experience for someone who has been historically afraid of the dentist since childhood. Dr. Hund did the first cleaning which was awesome and is a high testament to his quality of care for his patients. The insurance specialist was really invested with explaining my benefits and cost regarding my treatment plan. She took time to really explain my benefits to me and we discussed how I was going to achieve my treatment plan. Overall this dentist and his office is worth the visit.
