We have been patients of Dr. Mike’s for over 23 years. Our children have grown up with this practice. We have children with medical challenges, as well as social/sensory challenges, and the kind, caring, staff at Wanlass Dental are not only appreciated, but an absolute necessity. We love the no wait time at this practice. When you arrive for your appointment, they are ready and usually waiting for you. Our favorite thing about this practice is the top notch care and continuing education. Dr. Mike continues to push himself and his staff to stay educated and informed, not following just the latest trends, but following good science and best practice methods. This practice believes overall health and Oral health go hand in hand.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Mike for over 25 years. Dr. Mike and his staff go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable and respected from the time you walk in until the time you leave. I am impressed at how well everyone collaborates to make mine a positive experience. Debbie not only cleans my teeth with perfection, but is ready to share tips about overall health. It is evident that Dr. Mike and the staff are dedicated and stay apprised of the latest research and dental procedures. Thank you!

Like many others, I am very apprehensive when it comes to going to the dentist. I have bad teeth and gums and I always fear ridicule and pain. This was NOT the case here! Dr. Wanlass is absolutely amazing. From the first time I called and spoke to the front desk I felt welcomed and appreciated. The front desk staff is courteous and caring and everyone knows your name and your story. They greet you when you come in and you aren’t just a patient, you are an extension of the office. All of the dental assistants are patient, encouraging, helpful, and overall great. I had to have a root canal today and Dr. Wanlass made it virtually pain free. He is gentle, funny, caring, knowledgeable, and such a great dentist. I honestly have never had a dentist that I felt truly cared about me and how I felt. My husband is also a patient here and he feels the same way. Thank you to the entire team at Wanlass dental. I tell everyone how great you are and I will recommend you over and over. Don’t ever leave!

Update. 12.16.18 Best Dental team in Vegas! Update 6.5.2018. Regular cleaning and X-ray exam. Digital X-rays are awesome! Quick and painless. Dr Petersen did my tooth exam and taught me something new about my teeth. I’m rough on my root canal and porcelain crown and he explained how it should not be used for biting or tearing into things (like an apple or tearing open a plastic bag) as the feeling and sensation is gone because the nerve is no longer there. So you really don’t know how much pressure your placing on that tooth. Explains why I’ve cracked it once and chipped in another time. I’m not treating it like the jewel it really is. I love this team! Time to change my habits and keep that crown forever! Update 12.18.17. Regular cleaning with Deb. Got the full treatment with gum tecession check and oral cancer screening. These guys have the best tech equipment! Deb spoke to a computer and was able to get my gum check in minutes. A computer personal assistant! Awesome. Also chipped a porcelain crown. Dr Wanlass came in, checked for full fracture and was able to smooth it down and send me on my way! No replacement necessary. Great news! Love this team. Definitely the best dental experience I’ve ever had, time and time again. In for a crown replacement. Painless. 2 hours in and out. Looks great! State of the art technology and up to date training made it possible. The team here is wonderful!

I am terrified of dentist over the weekend I lost her feeling and had to have a tooth removed we call them first thing in the morning and they had an appointment for me ready in 1 hour and I was out within 45 minutes the tooth extraction I couldn’t believe it when he said he was done I felt absolutely no pain wonderful experience for somebody that’s terrified of dentist five stars and that also goes for all the ladies that work up front and help out in other ways and taking X-rays and it was just a great experience.

Just last week Dr. Wanlass diagnosed a problem that required surgery. Even though I trust him and have had a crown and other work done, I was nervous. Dr. determined the laser would be the best instrument to use and he was sure right! Sounds crazy, but I didn’t feel any pain during, after, or even days after the surgery. I was so amazed at his precision and gentle hand and couldn’t believe it didn’t hurt afterward! I definitely recommend him if you need help with your mouth or teeth!

The entire Wanlass Dental team has done an amazing job working on my smile over the last couple if years. The level of care, attention to detail, and drive for customer satisfaction is unbelievable. They are very responsive to any needs or concerns that I have, and are flexible enough to get me in very quickly or within a reasonable time frame. It honestly feels like they move mountains to get stuff done for me, and on a personal level it feels like I have my own personal dentist. Dr. Wanlass is truly an artist in cosmetics. Thank you guys for being so wonderful.

A coworker recommended Wanlass Dental and glad he did – this place is awesome! Every single member of the team is knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely kind. They even send a ‘welcome to the family’ card after your first appointment. My teeth have never looked better and I’m not at all nervous about my next appointment. I fly in from out of town to see Dr. Wanlass and his amazing staff. His expertise, close attention to every detail and state of the art equipment make my trip to the dentist quick and efficient. During my last visit, I came in to have a broken crown replaced and during my exam, we discovered a significant cavity under an old filling. Since I flew in specifically for a cleaning and to have my crown repaired, he and his staff worked diligently through their lunch hour to clean, replace a crown AND remove/ replace an unexpected filling that required attention. AMAZING!!! I’ve been seeing Dr. Wanlass for all my dental needs for 20 years. Living out of state has not stopped me from continuing to have Dr. Wanlass and his staff as my primary dental office. Shout out to Dental Hygienist, Deb, who is seriously the best hygienist I have ever known! She is meticulous in her care/ cleaning as well as informative and always up on the latest and greatest ways to keep your teeth/ mouth healthy. I do and have recommended this dentist to anyone in the area who is in need. Best dentist and staff ever!

I previously worked for Dr. Wanlass, he is a wonderful dentist. He is an exceptional person overall! His patient care and crowns are just THE BEST! His office also has the Cerec machine, which means he makes the crowns in his office, usually no temporaries. He is a perfectionist, which is an awesome thing for a dentist! He has very friendly and kind staff, also not to mention his wonderful hygienists! Debbie and Mary are phenomenal! My grandparents are very long time patients of Dr. Wanlass, over 20 years! I’ve worked for a couple other dental offices and this office is by far the best! Check his office out, you won’t be disappointed!

I love this place!!! Debbie is just the absolute best and Dr Mike is super awesome! Both are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond. They never pressure me into anything and all decisions are left up to me. The whole office staff is very pleasant and everyone looks like they truly enjoy working here. They always make me feel welcome, comfortable and I’m never rushed in or out. They actually treat me like family. I’ve been going here for years and I won’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend!!

I cannot begin to tell you how GREAT the staff at Wanlass dental is. Hands down the greatest! They know me by name and its always a pleasure going in for my check-up. Professional and courteous. I am 24 and have been going here since I was a little girl. Everyone is perfect! Dr. Wanlass and his staff are the best at what they do and Debra has been the best hygienist that anyone could ever have. She is very gentle and informative which makes everything go smoothly. And she makes going to the dentist fun with her great and caring personality, which is always a plus.

I found this place on Google, and it didn’t have many reviews but I really needed a cleaning and went in with an open mind. The staff is very polite and nice and they remember my name and also like that they send a text reminder of my appointments. The Hygienist is a sweetheart and very good, i didnt get to really meet the doctor b/c i dont need any work done. But overall very nice clean office.

Back in September Dr. Wanlass put fast braces on my 12-year-old son, I cannot believe how amazing his teeth look in such a short amount of time ( where were fast braces when I was a teenager? )! Right away my son could feel his pallet expanding and when he smiles you can see more of his teeth. My two younger sons were lucky enough to be candidates for healthy start ( A rubber sleep appliance that they wear at night ), because of healthy start they will likely not even need braces, their teeth already look amazing after only six months of wearing the sleep appliance . I really appreciate Wanlass dentals early business hours, I’m able to take my sons in before school ( so much better than pulling them out during the day ). The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. And you can tell Dr. Wanlass is looking out for your total health, not just shiny white teeth. I highly recommend Wanlass dental!

My experience was as always, fantastic. I have been going to Wanlass Dental for over 20 years. The entire office has the most professional, kind, and caring people I’ve ever encountered in a medical office. The hygienists are stellar!! Dr. Wanlass is the most skilled, talented, progressive dentist you could ever have. He is on top of that, very caring and kind. I never feel pain, and always leave the office happy. I was so impressed with this dentist. I want here for a second opinion from a different dentist that I had a feeling was trying to just get money out of me. He ended up agreeing with me and dismissing my dental needs but the other dentist said that I had to get immediately. The office staff was so kind they all greeted me and even gave me a water and a Chapstick when I left. They also didn’t even charge me for my visit because I was in an out in just a few minutes. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wanlass for over 25 yrs. He is knowledgeable and professional. He and his staff keep up with the most currant dental advancements. In addition to his abilities as a dentist, is the caring and warmth his office has for each patient. You become part of their family. This office was recommended to me by a friend because of my fear of dentists, (since childhood) and the possibility of a painful experience. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience since coming to Wanlass Dental. I was prompted to write this letter after talking with another patient in the waiting room. We had similar dental experiences growing up, and she too felt she same about “Dr. Mike” and his staff. I just felt others should know this is an office where you can be assured of not only the best dental care, but also a place where they care about you as an individual.

Dr. Wanlass is an incredibly talented and caring dentist. My husband and I pay extra out of network just to see him. Where so many other dentists have always taken the easy way out with my dental issues, Dr. Mike makes sure that all avenues are explored and he does what is best for the patient. Sue and staff at the front desk ALWAYS know your name when you walk in, and being a patient there feels like being part of a family. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Wanlass Dental. After living in Vegas for 11 years I have finally found the best of the best.

I and my daughter have been patients of Dr Wanlass for 15+ years. He and his staff are competent and courteous and friendly. I like that I am seen promptly when I have an appointment. I like that procedures and the need for procedures are explained. I like that I get to see Dr Wanlass quickly when I had an emergency. I like that they are constantly updating their procedures and equipment. They are “on the ball.” PS Covid protection procedures are in place and are reasonable.

We’ve been patients since 1993. Dr Wanlass and his office are exceptional. Very clean, caring and well informed. You always have all your questions answered and the dr is very current with all the latest technology. Deb Mitchel is our hygienist/ teeth fairy goddess and has been forever: she’s gentle, knowledgeable and super thorough. Thank you Wanlass dental for providing such an invaluable service to our family.
