This really is the best you can find as far as a Dentist goes. Very gentle, patient, and understanding. I had some composite fillings done on my front teeth two years ago by a dentist who was terrible, and the color didn’t match. I had one cavity that needed filling as well, and had need of a cleaning. The cleaning was good. I have a phobia of needles and getting shots, especially in my mouth, and was very nervous the day of the appointment. Dr Allen was very gentle, and I hardly noticed the injection until my teeth and gum started to go numb. He replaced the one off-color filling that was already in place, and did the other one I needed in the front. I am simply amazed at the results. The fillings look amazing, and I have absolutely NO sensitivity! Simply AMAZING!!! I am sooo happy I went to Dr Allen instead of anyone else, and plan to be a regular patient as the need arises.

Dr. Allen’s office is great! From the time I entered the office to the time I was ready to check out, everyone was helpful and friendly. My dental hygienist, Jeanie, was very kind and patient with me. She also helped me out with my dental hygiene by teaching me better ways to floss and brush my teeth. Dr. Allen himself was knowledgeable and took great care of me.

My previous dentist retired a few years ago and my family and I moved to Dr. Allen’s office. It is always very clean and neat, they always seem to be running on time, they are very flexible with our crazy schedule and they are very patient with my little ones and help make sure they are taken care of while I have my appointment. Dr. Allen and his staff are very willing to answer all of my questions and I can tell that they want to make sure that I understand everything we discuss about me and my family’s dental health. (As an added bonus…They also have the best playlist!) I would highly recommend Dr. Allen and his team if you are looking for a new dentist!

If you are like me, you are not a fan of going to the dentist. However, Dr Allen and his staff do an amazing job of providing an excellent patient care experience. Dr. Allen’s practice of his skill is amazing and have never been in discomfort. If you’re looking for a dentist, or haven’t been in a while, this is the place for you.

Dr. Allen and his staff truly are the ideal “Dentist on the Hill”. They have welcomed us to the neighborhood while providing tremendous attentiveness and individualized care. If you don’t find the experience to your liking, I’d wager you wouldn’t know St. Louis from Shinola either. Plus the playlists are EPIC!!

I have been going to Dr. Allen’s office for 3 years and love this office! The staff is friendly and always make me feel welcome. I have never even had to sit in the waiting room before I am taken back. They are always ready and waiting for me. I have had everything from basic cleanings to more thorough procedures. The hygienist does a very thorough cleaning and is gentle, respectful and friendly. Dr. Allen is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and always listens to my concerns. I have never experienced pain in any of the procedures I have had, including fillings and a crown. The office is very state of the art modern and beautiful. I have referred a couple friends to Dr. Allen as well and I highly recommend this warm, caring, professional staff!

I have been going to Dr. Allen’s office for two years now, after switching from a very long time family dentist. I couldn’t be happier! You enter a very hip newly remodeled office(that plays great music for all ages) and then you are greeted with a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. You are then placed into the very capable hands of the dental hygienist. She gives you a very thorough but not painful…at all, cleaning. I used to be a white knuckled patient with no patience, not anymore! She is fabulous! Dr. Allen then comes in and examines your teeth/mouth with great detail. I have only been to 2 dentists in my entire life and I feel very confident and comfortable that I have made the right choice in changing. I highly recommend checking out this dentist office!

My mother-in-law recommended Dr. Allen, so we gave him a try. The office is in a charming early mid-century building on the Hill. Waiting room and receptionist were pleasant and I was taken right back. Dental hygienist Jeanie was great! Kind, gentle, low-key, and full of educational advice. Dr. Allen was somewhat subdued (maybe he’s shy?), but when I asked a question about protecting my kids teeth, he came alive. He gave me a thorough 10-minute explanation about the hows and whys of tooth decay and what a parent can do about it. I really appreciated the time he took to explain everything. Not rushed like other dentists. He didn’t try to push any smile improvements on me–didn’t even mention it–just checked my teeth, answered questions, and then said thanks. We have since brought both our children here (ages 8 and 4) and again Jeanie was great with them. So nice to have a quality, convenient dentist in the City!

My family and I have been a patients of Dr. Jason Allen’s for about 8 years and have nothing but high remarks for both he and his staff. We drive an hour each way to see him because we are so happy with his care and because he and his staff are so friendly. I have never had pain during or after visits either! I would most definitely recommend Dr. Jason Allen to others!

Dr. Allen is the most competent Dentists I have ever been to, and I have been to many with failed situations. He takes each individual into account and does not over book his office rushing anything. Each circumstance is treated with examination to the fullest extent and care, and then he works his best to take care of your teeth while also ensuring him and his team educate you to know how to prepare for further/any issues. Not only did he save a situation last year when another “chop shop” dentist improperly filled and filed a tooth 2 times, but he also then later saved a tooth with a root canal. I will go nowhere else for my dental care. I advise you to do the same
