I am in the process of having implants done by Dr. Mori. I just completed my bone graft and on my way to having a better quality of EATING!!. Dr. Mori explained the process to me and I am confident that I am in the best hands. His staff is friendly and extremely patient as i have, ”Dentist Phobia”. The bottom line is that if you want a Dentist who puts your needs first and a Dentist you can trust, Dr. Mori is your Dentist.

Dr. Mori and his staff are amazing. I feel like I know everyone and I’ve only been there a few times. They are so easy going but very professional. I’ve had to reschedule a few appts due to my job, but they’re always so good about fitting me in when it’s the most convenient. Aside from that, Dr. Mori and the hygienist are very thorough during my exams and cleanings. I couldn’t have found a better team! Thank you all.

I’ve been to this office for several fillings and cleanings over the past 1.5 years, and could not recommend them more. Dr. Mori is efficient and thorough, with none of the guilt trips that I remember from childhood dentist visits. Everyone in the office is pleasant, and the seats have a great view of the inner East side from the 4th floor. The best part of this office, though, is Saara at the front desk. She goes out of her way to explain fees before each appointment, and is very knowledgeable and accurate about what will be covered by my insurance. I am happy to have a dentist who I know I can trust.

Dr. Mori is the BEST dentist I’ve ever seen! He’s very nice and always interested in how you’re doing while at his office. He takes extra care in ensuring you’re comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort. He always makes me feel at ease when I’m nervous about the procedure…. whether that be a filling, root canal, etc… (unfortunately I’ve had both). Go see him if you’re looking for a great dentist in Portland!

Dr Mori is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He and his staff are super professional, friendly, and caring. Dr Wayne Mori is a new dentist to me and, so far, it has been a great experience. I have a fear of shots but today when I had my shots done by Dr Mori I could barely feel them – it was amazing. He was always checking in to make sure I was ok. And the nice view of downtown, soothing Hawaiian music in the background, all while having my fillings taken care of wasn’t bad either. It’s also great that they are able to figure confusing insurance plans out for me and tell me what to expect expense-wise.

Dr. Mori is very thorough with state of the art equipment. I used to hate getting x-rays, but the computerized x-ray equipment is very comfortable in my mouth. His prices are very reasonable and anyone can receive care with Care Credit if they don’t have dental insurance. Dr. Mori and the staff are very friendly and caring. They educate and don’t push. The office has free valet parking!

Dr. Mori is kind, careful, thoughtful, and genuine. He has not been like any other dentist I’ve been to. He does my cleanings, he hasn’t once tried to sell me something, add on services, or even demand I get X-rays (I’ve asked to skip them). The front desk lady is awesome, and his assistant is kind and caring. I will continue to go here so long as it continues to be like this. What a refreshing experience.

I discovered Dr. Mori under the worst of circumstances – I was experiencing excruciating tooth pain. Having recently moved to the Portland area I didn’t have a dentist yet. Went online to find a dentist close to my office in the Lloyd District. Dr. Mori’s assistant assured me he could see me within the hour. Dr. Mori had to perform an emergency root canal on an abscessed tooth. He and his staff were friendly, thorough and patient. He explained options clearly and answered all of my questions. I found him to be a wonderful combination of kind and competent. He even called me at home later to be sure everything was okay. His staff worked with me on insurance and payments and costs were accurate and clear. Very highly recommend.

Dr. Wayne Mori Professional Education and Experience Born in Gardena, California Dr. Mori moved to Honolulu, Hawaii at a young age. He graduated from Radford High School and then obtained a bachelors degree in Zoology from the University of Hawaii. He moved to Oregon to attend the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1998. After graduation he worked for several outstanding dentists in the Portland area before starting his own practice in 2004. Dr. Mori has been at his current location in the Lloyd District for several years leading a team of talented professionals who go the extra mile to provide excellent care in a comfortable environment. Married since 1989, his practice is a family affair with his wife, Donna, managing office operations. His eldest daughter graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Human Physiology and is currently pursuing a diagnostic ultrasound degree at Seattle University. His younger daughter is attending the University of Oregon majoring in Journalism. He enjoys running, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family and favorite dog Zoey, his West Highland Terrier.
