I just think the staff at Wellspring Dental is exceptional.   They are very helpful in prepping you and make every effort to assuage any fears you may have regarding any procedure.   Mitch is a wonderful dentist, whose bedside manner lacks no good thing.  His skillful hand and gentle voice brought great calm to me.  I appreciate his exceptional ability and knowledge.  I am grateful to know the staff at Wellspring.  They have taken all the dear of going to the dentist.

I didn’t know a visit to the dentist could be so enjoyable! As soon as I walked in the staff was nice and offered me drinks while I waited only 5 minutes before being seen. I loved that my dentist explained her process as she was doing it so I knew what everything meant. It was overall a great experience and I definitely recommend them.

Friendly staff, small but nice office, and a great dental treatment overall.  Haven’t been to the dentist in ages and there was no hint of a scolding sort of vibe. The hygenist did an excellent job and my teeth look and feel so much better. Dr. Zientz is really calm, reasonable and clear.  He didn’t push any unneeded services and work on me which I appreciated.  Highly recommend!

What a great Dental office!!  I had an excellent first visit and really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Z and his wonderful team.  Very pleasant, warm environment and all around great experience.  I truly trust Dr. Z and his staff and very happy with my cleaning.  Looking forward to going back in 6 months (have never said that about a Dental visit before!)

I was in a bit of pain so I scheduled an appt for asap. Unfortunately, that was for about 3 weeks out. However, Wellspring put me on a waiting list and they were able to see me less than a week after I called! I’ve only been once so far, but the experience was fantastic. I was seen promptly and my dental hygienist was excellent. She was professional, informative, full of positive energy and she made you feel very well cared for. The doctor was great as well. He was kind and professional and charismatic. My favorite part was that the cleaning was painless. In the past I’ve had cleanings that felt like downright torture. I don’t know how they did it, but my cleaning today was pretty much completely painless. I look forward to going back, which I’ve never been able to say about a dentist before!

I just received an amazing dental service from Dr. Zientz, who is incredibly kind, friendly, capable, professional and funny! I recently chipped my tooth and was able to immediately schedule an appointment the following day. Chipping a tooth can be a traumatic experience, but Dr. Zientz put me at ease and was reassuring during my entire visit. The entire bonding procedure was handled with meticulous and painstakingly detailed care. Starting with the x-rays to the shaping and polishing, the dentist communicated every step of the process. He was also intensely focused yet efficient, and I am thrilled (and incredibly relieved) with the results. The coloring and shape of my tooth is spot on and natural! I should also add that the dental visit was pleasant and comfortable. The space is newly renovated, clean and bright, and the office has the latest technology. We even looked at the computer imaging of my xray together, so I could see what was going on while the dentist explained to me the image results. Dr. Zientz is personable, attentive and extremely competent, who has a love for the profession. He is clearly respected by his patients. Wellspring Dental is a gem, I will certainly be coming back!

Dr. Zientz is great! He’s both professional and relatable — and he’s a great communicator, which is key. I recently saw him for a twice-a-year visit, and I was more than pleased with my cleaning and how well Dr. Z explained, part by part, what was going on with my (mostly cavity-free) teeth. I’ve bounced between a couple hectic dentist’s offices since moving to NY four years ago, but my experience with Wellspring — from scheduling the appointment to climbing into the chair — was by far the best of the bunch. I think I’ve found my Brooklyn dentist!

Brittany is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had, and I truly enjoy every visit that I have with her. Every cleaning that I have with her is an A+ experience. I followed her from another practice to Wellspring, and I’m impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the practice that she has joined. Dr. Zientz took the time to explain his recommendations thoroughly and helped me understand my long-term options for dental care.

I’ve never been someone who’s terrified of the dentist, but every trip makes me a little nervous. Do I have cavities (no)? Have I been flossing enough (no)? What if I have some horrible thing wrong with my teeth (I don’t)?! Wellspring Dental/Dr. Zientz is new to the area and has been in the office for less than two months. He’s also 3 blocks from my apartment, so this was totally a geographically-based decision. Put quite simply, he’s awesome. Insanely nice, did a really good job on my teeth…pretty much a painless process. I also learned that Oral-B has apparently put bluetooth in its newest line of toothbrushes. Overkill? Obviously. It was a great visit. Happy to have such a terrific dentist nearby.

I’m several months into an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Zientz and can’t say enough nice things. I’ll break it down for you in the 4 main areas that have been deal breakers in my past dental experiences: Price: I had 3 other Invisalign consultations with other dentists and Dr. Z was easily the most affordable. His payment plan is wallet friendly and he is very honest about cost and necessity. I’m a patient that occasionally has to say “Is this going to kill me? If not, can I do it/pay for it later?” and Dr. Z is very non-judgemental and honest in advising the best treatment plan for my mouth and my wallet. Experience: Dr. Z is so thorough, friendly and accessible. I initially came in for an Invisalign consultation and he noticed a cavity too. Please note, I called out this cavity to a mediocre Brooklyn dentist (couch cough iSmile) and they told me it didn’t exist! Dr. Z took care of it and got me started on Invisalign as well. My dog ate one of my Invisalign trays and Dr. Z was also quick to return my call and resolve the issue. Appointments/Waiting Room life: Never had an issue getting an appointment or with wait times here. If you need a Saturday appointment, you can schedule one! It’s amazing! Location/Office: The office is clean, modern, very calm and chill. The location also cannot be beat. Go to Dr Z and take care of that dental issue you’ve been putting off forever then reward yourself with a trip to Court Street Grocers.

The best experience I’ve had at a dental practice in years. All the staff are some welcoming and professional, and excellent with my young daughter. The practice is clean, modern, and very much of the neighborhood. Myself, my wife, and 2-year old daughter all had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend to others.

I had a great experience at my first visit! I hadn’t gone to the dentist in a pretty long time and I felt the staff was friendly and really supportive in telling me what was going on with my mouth. My partner was looking for a new dentist and since I was so pleased with my experience, he wanted to make an appointment too.

Everything about Wellspring Dental is pretty terrific. The hygienists are thorough and super-friendly, the general vibe of the place is relaxed and open, and Dr. Zientz just filled half a dozen cavities more smoothly than any dentist I’ve ever had. I was dreading all that work, but he and the rest of the team made it as pleasant as it could be.

After almost 4 years, I followed the “BEST” Dental Hygienist in Brooklyn – “Brittany” to Wellspring Dental. Since my first appointment with her, Brittany’s gentle care and friendly personality put all my dental fears at ease. Now I have discovered the “BEST” Dentist in Brooklyn – Dr. Zientz. His professionalism, knowledge and chair-side manner are incomparable! And not to mention the excellent customer service from the entire team. Highly highly recommend Wellspring Dental. I was completely dreading going to the dentist knowing my teeth needed some work, but Dr. Zientz put me completely at ease right away. He’s very calm and great at explaining everything. His treatment plan was realistic and manageable. Lisa is also so very helpful and nice. A great experience from start to finish. I only wish I had gone much sooner!

The experience that Wellspring Dental provides their client’s is one that all dental offices should aspire to. Never before had I felt such care and attention was paid to me during a dental visit. They truly took the time to get to know me and offer thoughtful solutions to my dental care. Brittany is outstanding. Not only is she an extremely skilled hygienist, but her warm personality will have me coming back just for her!

I’ve had an amazing experiences at Wellspring dental. The front desk staff were a pleasure to work with and by far the most helpful administrators I’ve experienced at a dentist’s office. The dental hygienist, Brittany, gives A+ dental cleanings – seriously. the. best. cleanings. I. have. ever. had – hands down. She’s been cleaning my teeth for 5 years and has been THE reason I look forward to my 6 month cleanings (used to hate going to the dentist). The dentist was laid back, chill, understanding and not pushy qualities I personally need in a dentist.

Dr. Mitch Zientz, has taken over Dr F Shargin Practice. His office is in the Heart of Carrol Gardens.  Since Dr Mitch took over the practice, he has continued to renovate the office, and make lt more Welcoming.  As a young Dentist, he has a plethora of new technology and devices to put the Patient at ease.  Going to the Dentist can be a daunting ordeal for many people.  My Mother dreaded going to the Dentist.  She suffered a massive Abcess before she would agree to going to see a Dentist.  At the Time we had a Wonderful and Caring Dentist, Francis Hedberg.  He was able to win over my mother and diswade her fears.  I feel I have again found a Wonderful and Caring Dentist in Dr Zientz.  He and his staff are attentive and sincerely interested in you and your needs. I now have wireless partials and my smile is restored.  Dr Mitch continues to contact me to ensure I am comfortable.   He has assured me I can return to fine tune the fit as I need. I highly recommend you make it to this Practice if you need a Dentist.  Check with Lisa to see if your insurance is accepted.  They have an active clientele and you will be made Very Welcome.

This is not like any other dentist’s office I’ve ever been to. It is clear that Dr. Zientz loves what he does and has put his heart and soul into making Wellspring what it is. The office is modern yet cozy, a great mix of the old character of a Carroll Gardens building with brand new technology. The star of the show was, of course, Dr. Zientz. He put me at ease more than any other dentist I’ve ever been to. I was actually laughing at times, mostly in my head because let’s face it, it’s hard to laugh with a vacuum in your mouth. He explained what he was about to do at each step, what tools he was using and what their functions were, and then he showed me before and after pictures so I could see exactly what he had done. I went in for an appointment after hearing from another dentist that I had a cavity forming. Dr. Z was able to fix two cavities and deep clean two other teeth to prevent cavities. That is a lot to get done in 30 minutes or so! And so, I have found my guy. I already trust him and feel comfortable there, which is more than I can say for any other dentist I’ve been to in the past:)

I have delayed making an appointment for a couple of years. Wish I hadn’t. Janelle was super gentle but thorough in cleaning. The dentist explained everything that I need to have done – starting with what is most urgent. I recently changed insurance. I’m not sure if this changed the cost, but my quote is about half of what I paid at my last dentist for similar services. I would highly recommend Wellspring.

Great experience. Very nice staff and doctor. I’ve been going to another dentist for years and when I complained of jaw pain the doctor dismissed it. Dr Classsen took his time to look at my jaw and perform tests to get at the root cause. I have no resolution yet, but it is good to have someone listen and take the time to investigate. The hygienist was nice and gentle. They both explained everything and even took photos of my mouth so they could show me what they saw. The office is also very modern and comfortable! The music is great. Overall, welcome modern dentistry to Carroll Gardens!

I really liked my old dentist but I moved and wasn’t willing to make an hour commute for a cleaning. I found Wellspring and so pleased to have a new great dental office. Lisa at the front desk made scheduling an appointment so easy (she actually reached out when an earlier time opened) and she was very pleasant when I arrived! Dr. Zientz was nice, professional and busted out a few dentist jokes. He was great about explaining what he was doing and what he saw. I’ll be back and recommending to friends in BK!
