If beauty is skin deep, West Hartford Dental will please your aesthetics.  But beauty of Dr. Yin’s dental office is more than the visible.  It is rooted in the generous spirit of service and heart-warming compassion.  Chelsea at the front desk, for example, has always managed to find my family appointment slots that are convenient.  Dr. Yin routinely takes time to discuss concerns and answer questions about treatments and procedures.  And of course, her eight-year professional experience at one of China’s dental hospitals as well as her training at the B.U. dental school bless her with competency that goes beyond medicine.  In Dr. Yin’s office, while receiving dental care, you see big smiles, engage in pleasant conversation, and soak in comfortable atmosphere.  No wonder my family has been driving to her office–40 miles away–for over 15 years

I had to go to different dental practice because West Hartford Family Dentistry was out-of-network for my present insurance coverage. However, after I was no longer a patient, I experienced a problem with a crown that WHFD had installed over my dental implant. The problem was caused by me — too much jaw pressure during sleep had loosened the crown. Even though I was no longer a patient, WHFD fixed the problem — without charge! And they were able to squeeze me in right away, as I had informed them that I was leaving the country within a few days. I was both surprised and impressed. If it weren’t for the insurance coverage issue, I would still be with WHFD.

Dr. Jane Yin is a very nice, friendly, professional dentist. She always clearly explains the treatment plans, and never applies unnecessary treatments to you (unlike some other clinics, who might have such practices in order to maximize profits). She takes her time when working on your teeth and does her job very carefully. She is very flexible with the timings of the treatments when needed, because of insurance coverage or other reasons.
