I have had an incredible fear of the dentist all my life.  It started as a young child and as I aged the anxiety of pain, shots, drilling, pulling, scraping, and ect…has just intensified. I hold out on going to the dentist as long can until something happens that needs an emergency trip.  You name it and I have had it done.  I’m not proud, as a health care professional, I know how important it is for regular visits.  With many horrible experiences I have stayed away!!!! That was until yesterday and today.  I researched West Hills Smiles and Dr. Mike Salekian.  I felt they had the approach I desperately needed. I have had two treatments (a few to go) and I am here to tell you what a great experience it was and that I have found my dental home!!!! My boys are going in next as well as friends and family. I’m sooooo serious if I am writing this and feel this way I’m telling you to run to make an appointment. I am so blessed & fortunate to have found myself here!!!!!!!! I have the greatest fear of going to the dentist. I have had problems from a very young age of dentists trying to numb my mouth to no avail. It had been over five years since I stepped foot in a dental office. I found great reviews of Dr. Mike and his staff. I made an appointment and walked in the office to smiling faces. They made me feel really comfortable and have helped me conquer my fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Mike and his staff have been incredible and I am so happy to have found this office. Amazing staff, always on time. The appointment booker Christy ( the pretty blonde) goes out of her way to make sure everyone is happy! they really and I mean really focus on detail which is really important to me!

This is by far the best dental office I have ever experienced.  Dr. Mike is meticulous and you can tell that he takes his job and your dental health very seriously. He gave me the most comprehensive exam. Nicole is the best hygienist. She did the best cleaning of I have ever had.  The office is gorgeous and is equipped with the most advanced technology.  His team is amazing and it is always a treat visiting the office. I would highly recommend west hills smiles.

They are so professional with high technology which you cant find anywhere else. Dr Salekian is very knowledge & always makes me feel comfortable. You will not regret going here for all of your dental needs!

Painfree – great offfice hours – extra clean – gorgeous office – excellent staff – no sales pitches – no wait time – payment plans! I manage a medical office which makes me extra critical of offices. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Broke a front tooth, called this office and got a 7AM appointment. The tooth needed a root canal. I was scared but it was a painless visit, everyone was nice, the office was gorgeous and clean. I’ve seen a lot of dentists and hated them all except this one. This office was the best and offered a great payment option. I will never go anywhere else and will refer all my friends and coworkers. The temporary crown they put on looks amazing and better than my original tooth

For several reasons I was always terrified of dentists. On a scale from 1-10 I was a solid 15! I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Mike and a second tooth. It was an absolutely amazing experience!!! I am absolutely blown away how he listens to you and how careful he is. Thank you so much for relieving me from my fear of dentistry!!!

I was referred to the office by a friend. I am always scared of dentist. It was by the best dental office I have ever been to. The office is so beautiful and relaxing and the staff are so friendly. I am thankful to Dr. Salekian to enhance my smile. I received so many compliments about my new smile. Christy was super helpful with the arranging the finances. I am so glad I found this place. After some terrible dental experiences, I took a referral from the optometrist that I work for who had to have extensive dental work done. I’m so glad I did! I trust my troublesome teeth to the staff at this office, love all the samples I get after each visit, and they’ve always been willing to work with me on payment plans. The fact that I decided to stick with them even without dental insurance, and I drive from the Hollywood area just go to show how much I like them.

This was a great experience.  The procedure was thoroughly explained to met & my comfort during it was always the utmost concern.  I was very pleased with the results.  Highly recommend!

I was on vacation and my crown came off. I contacted the office and they got me in same day. Dr Mike was the doctor who treated me and he did a fabulous job! He was able to make a new crown for me and got it back in a rush . The office manager , Christy , is lovely and made sure I was taken care of . Carole,  the dental asst , made me feel very comfortable. They offered me a blanket and pillow while having my treatment , which I’ve never had that done before at my other dentist office. I recommend West Hills Smiles to everyone !

Bleeding gums and bad breath took over my life for the last few months, and I had no idea how to deal with it. I got to know about West Hills Smiles, and a consultation with them revealed that I had periodontal disease. After completing the treatment, all of the symptoms disappeared! I feel like I’ve got my confidence back.

My dental implants were not fitted properly and it was causing me immense pain. My friend told me about Dr. Mike who had worked on her dental implants and how it was almost pain free for her. I just knew I had to give him a try and I am so glad that I did. I’d definitely recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Sturgeon did an AMAZING job on my veneers. I could not be happier. I’m not the easiest patient in the dentist chair and he had total patience, made sure I was comfortable, and walked me through the entire process. The results exceeding all my expectations!!

I deliberately waited to review this place until after my second visit and I have to say, this has been the best dentist office I’ve visited in my whole life. Past experiences have given me a fair amount of anxiety when it comes to dentist appointments and while other places have been pretty good at listening to my concerns, the people at West Hills Smiles go above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable throughout the whole visit. On my very first appointment, Dr. Mike conducted an interview to find out how I feel about going to the dentist, what my concerns are, whether I have any questions, and what my overall goals are for my smile/teeth. He addressed all my concerns and made sure to remember what we discussed during the follow visit. Nicole did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I was so comfortable during cleaning that I fell asleep. They also offer cool features that really made me feel comfortable like giving you sunglasses and a neck pillow, etc so that you actually end up really enjoying your appointment. I’m very glad to have finally found a place I feel comfortable going to and look forward to continuing to be a patient here.

Yet another amazing experience! So happy with my new smile. We’ve got more work to do, but everyone out there should know how professional and caring these folks are. Please give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

I just had the most wonderful Root Canal! Dr Mike Salekian and his amazing team at West Hills Smiles gave me flawless and nearly pain free care and treatment. I had an abscessed tooth that had swollen up overnight and looked like a golf ball in my mouth. They took me in right away Monday morning and put me on antibiotics. We had the procedure Wednesday. I was dreading the operation, as I had a similar situation years ago that was horrible. This was the opposite! Dr Mike explained everything as we went and made me absolutely comfortable. I kept waiting for pain that never came. Even after the Novocaine wore off! Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Christy was especially kind and helpful regarding billing options (which can be half the anxiety of dental care) The office is tasteful and set up for maximum comfort. The swelling is gone and I feel great! Thank you West Hills Smiles. I’m smiling!

I had an awful toothache, but there were no visible signs of cavities. The dentists at West Hills Smiles used a laser-assisted machine to spot the hidden dental carries in my mouth. My affected tooth was then treated and my toothache subsided! Thank you, West Hills Smiles!

I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist. I had been with a bigger practice and felt that the customer service was severely lacking.West Hill Smiles made me feel very welcome and my root canal went very well. I am an anxious patient and their manner was superb, they made me feel at ease.

I just had work done by Dr. Mike Salekian today and was so impressed with how smoothly everything went!!!! I am usually terrified of the dentist (especially the numbing shots) but Dr. Mike was so gentle I honestly didn’t even feel him numbing me. He was very thorough at explaining everything so I felt comfortable the entire time. He is a very compassionate guy and truly cares about his patients

Great service! I have never been so relaxed at a dentist’s office. Dr. Mike did a great job with my filling and Nicole (hygienist) did a great cleaning with my teeth and i was so relaxed, i almost fell asleep. The rest of the staff were great and really friendly (s/o to Julian, best dental assistant ever) I will definitely recommend this clinic to everyone I know.

Just got back from my third visit at West Hills Smiles. I was referred to them by my friend who has been going to them for years. Great work, good prices, and very knowledgeable staff. The doctor wasn’t pushy at all, like some other dentists I’ve been to. He was very honest with what I had to get done and what could wait. Such a great experience that I’ve already sent my brothers there too

Perfectionist!! I couldn’t say enough about the professionalism of the entire staff. They aren’t one of those wheel em deal em places that offer extremely cheap deals on teeth. You get what you pay for. More than one time have I gone in and the doctor hasn’t been happy with a crown and I had to come back. Like I said perfectionist!! They will take that extra time to make sure what they put in your mouth is perfect! Considering I live in Westlake Village and drive to West Hills to get my dental work done should say something about their work. If you care about the quality of work that’s going into your mouth then look no further.
