I know “pediatric” isn’t in the name of this dental office but WOW, were they wonderful with my 9 year-old! He needed to have a stubborn baby tooth pulled and Dr. J was fantastic with him. They reassured him throughout the quick procedure and the visit ended in laughter and tears of joy & relief from my son and so much support from the staff! We were in & out in 30 minutes. Since when does a kid say he can’t wait to go back to the dentis

My RDH, Erlinda, was so informative and really helped educate me on the current state of my dentition and what I should do to promote healthy teeth in the long run. I was seriously impressed with how much knowledge Erlinda had, but even more impressed that she took the time to educate me-which truly in priceless. Dr Jacobson was also really great and I feel like they really want to help people. I look forward to staying a devoted patient.

Dr. Jacobsen was great. He has a very clean and welcoming office where I felt very comfortable. He went over my options and explained everything well. The actual procedure went very well and I felt relaxed. Dr. Jacobsen and his team did a great job of making me feel comfortable and taking away that feeling of anxiousness that comes with a visit to the dentist! I needed a crown and he has a machine there that mills out the crown so you have the visit completed all at once and don’t have to come back multiple times. I came in needing a crown and left the same day with a nice smile again. I highlyrecommend seeing Dr. Jacobsen, he’s a great dentist!

Staff is always friendly and upbeat. The doctor is always looking for ways to improve his practice, he ensures you are comfortable and continually asks to make sure you can’t feel any pain. He’s good and efficient and never has an issue if you need to come back in for an adjustment. I don’t think many of us enjoy dental visits, but, Dr. Jacobsen and his staff go out of their way to make it pretty enjoyable.

I have receding gums and have dealt with gingivitis for years but ever since going to West Valley I have received the best advice for how to improve my oral health. Erlinda (hygienist) has educated me on how to take care of my teeth and gums like no other dental hygienist has. I finally have nice pink gums instead of sore red gums like in the past! Dr. Jacobsen and Dr. Davis are up-to-date on the latest technology and innovations in this field , while also very attentive to my wimpy self when it comes to dental procedures.

I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Jacobsen and Roxie today. Seriously so informative, gentle, thorough and helpful. I was told i needed a crown by another dentist and today they said he couldn’t in his right mind do a crown and it wasn’t necessary. I have another appointment for a cleaning and a couple fillings next week and honestly all of my anxiety is gone … im actually excited to go back. Super funny, calming staff helps make everything enjoyable!

What a pleasant experience! We loved West Valley Natural Dentistry. Erlinda is already having a profound affect on our family since we left we’ve mentioned things she taught us often. A true gem of dental hygienist who has so much passion for the health of her patients. A fluoride free office and not one where they shove a screen in front of the kids for their visit but instead talk to them as intelligent people as they clean their teeth. I respected the opinions of Dr Jacobsen right away as it was clear he believed in the teeth’s ability to heal.

Erlinda and Dr. Jacobsen provide comprehensive, transparent, and compationate care. Erlinda takes time to explain the “why” behind my periodantal problems using diagrams and all! She is very patient with all my questions, listens, and provides clear, concise descriptions. Dr. Jacobsen also is transparent, calm, and I never feel rushed by him. My husband Ryan and I recently found this place and we love it, very professional and they even have a massage chair in the office. The staff and Dr were great, they were reasonable with prices and fair. Our hygienist Erlinda has so much personality and is very informative, caring and helpful. Erlinda tops the overall experience for me. Never have I ever had a hygienist that was so expressive and helpful, making sure I get the best care and walk away with information to better take care of myself. We are looking forward to returning and the overall experience I would highly reccomend this place.

Dr. Davis and Dr. Luke Jacobsen can give you a beautiful, healthy smile, as well as a pleasant experience. We strive to provide comfortable dentistry when we make your smile the best it can be. Dr. Luke Jacobsen was born and raised in Boise, ID, where he spent many hours focusing on studies, varsity sports, and playing the violin. As a presidential scholarship awardee, he attended California Lutheran University, where he earned his BS in Biology with an emphasis in pre-medicine. He continued with his dental education at the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry, recognized as one of the top cosmetic and dental schools in the nation. Dr. Jacobsen most enjoys the personal interaction with each patient, discussing their wants and needs, educating the patient and delivering the highest standard of treatment with an ethical approach, providing a pleasant experience with each and every patient. Considering that time is valuable and many people have reservations about visiting the dentist, Dr. Jacobsen has become proficiently trained in CEREC technology, providing streamline patient care for crown and onlay delivery in a single appointment visit for the patient. Dr. Jacobsen’s extended training through Lutheran Medical Centers Advanced Education in General Dentistry has allowed him to become proficient in endodontic therapy, as well as routine and surgical extractions, making it easier to complete treatment without the process of referral. Dr. Jacobsen is a member of the American Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, and Arizona Dental Association. The most rewarding aspect for Dr. Jacobsen is watching the transformation of the patient’s attitude and increase in self-esteem when providing a positive experience and exceptional outcome for the patient. Family is a large part of Dr. Jacobsen’s life, so treating each patient as a family member is of utmost importance. Having several years of working for public health and private practice has allowed Dr. Jacobsen to understand the importance of communicating dental education and advocacy for the patient and provide the patient with not only the most esthetic outcome, but also the most functional. Dr. Jacobsen believes that, “in order to achieve harmonious balance in treatment outcomes, you must engage the patient and become more than their doctor, you must be their confidant and advocate.” Dr. Jacobsen enjoys health and fitness training, golfing, traveling, and is an active member of Scottsdale Bible Church. He is very energetic and can usually brighten anyone’s day, whether it is with bleaching trays or simply his infectious smile.
