I LOVE my dentist! Everyone at Western Trails – from the front office, to all the hygienists, to the dentists themselves – are wonderful. My most recent experience could have been really negative, but they worked me right in my days off and took care of me. They are professional, cheerful, caring and attentive. During my visit last week, I had a total of FIVE people take care of me! When one of them had to step out, someone slid in and took over. It is always a seamless operation there, and I know i am in good hands. Dr. Salinas is terrific – if she weren’t a dentist, she would make a great kindergarten teacher – when you are lying there in that chair, she has a take-charge attitude that is also gentle, and she makes you feel like everything is going to be alright. The expertise of the hygienists I have had- Jaime, Amy, Marisa – is awesome, and Susie and Donna have more than once tended to my anxiety over the phone, and I appreciate them immensely. On a final note – when I arrived today, there was an older woman being treated with such patience and respect by the front office, and when I left one hour later, Dr. Krits was sitting with her and her adult son in the waiting area, talking with them patiently and amiably, despite the fact that it was closing time. I definitely would recommend this dental office. I almost look FORWARD to my next cleaning!

Dr. Kritz is amazing! He has taken care of me from childhood to adulthood and has always had my best interest in mind. I remember one time in college while my parents were out of the country I had a major dental emergency. I was unable to contact my parents and wasn’t sure how my dental insurance worked and Dr. Kritz took care of me for free. He is truly the best! No matter where I move I always find a way to make the drive to him for dental work!

Dr. Krits and his staff are amazing. I’ve been a patient for many years and I’m no longer as anxious about going to the dentist because of how sweet, reassuring and professional Dr. Krits and the entire staff are.

I had such a pleasant experience at Western Traiils Dental that I had to share the joy. The staff are all incredibly friendly at 7:30am and went above and beyond when helping me figure out treatment plans and financial details. What would normally stress me out beyond measure turned into a simple, reassuring process. Also, the aquariums throughout the office are absolutely gorgeous. And while my assumption goes unconfirmed, I would bet that the aquarium in the lobby is a clear nod to Finding Nemo. There’s a big clown fish and a little one, and even a little Dori. I will admit I took about a dozen pictures. Truly a great indicator of a phenominal dentistry practice.

Quick update! I went back in yesterday to have my temporary crown replaced with the permanent. Same great service and even with the adjustments that needed to be made to the crown (and the office was super busy), I was out in just under an hour. No pain or sensitivity, and my teeth are normally really sensitive and achy after dental work. I can’t believe I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!

They rock.  It did take some time to get me in, but I expected as much as a new patient.  The previous DMO clinic was the worst medical experience I’ve ever had, but I was able to get a bunch of teeth pulled off the one visit -before changing the PCD to Dr. Krits.  They picked up where things were left off, and did it fast, friendly, and were very tolerant of a meltdown that I had over thinking my dentures would be delayed b/c yet another tooth broke and had to be pulled.  They have a great sense of humor and I feel very comfortable there.

I love this place. The staff is super nice and attentive the Dental Hygenist Marissa and Dr. Krits are the best hands down in Austin. Very nice answer honest. Definitely recommend to my friends and family.

The covid prevention procedures that were in place when we came for our appointment were excellent and made us feel safe. The service by the X-ray technician, the hygienists and the Dentist, Dr Kris were outstanding. Love the friendliness of the office staff and the efficiency of how the practice is run.

Everyone has a different experience no matter the situation. I would just like to say They have always taken great care of Me. I love Dr Krits! And the Staff has always been so warm and caring, from the front desk to the Dental Assistants. I had some major work done Thursday, it was very traumatic to my system, if You know what I mean, and I don’t know if They will see/read this but Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

I love Dr. Krits. My son and I go here and we just both love his honesty and he actually listens to me. If I am having any sort of discomfort while getting anything done, he stops and makes sure I am ok before moving forward. His team is amazing indeed!! The only reason I did not give a five is because of the amount of times you will get called to confirm an appointment. There must be some major flakey people out there to create this extensive of a process. If I make an appointment, I am there!! But the office does call you then ask you to call back then sometimes call again…. Other than that I love them!!

My most recent past experience having a cavity filled was not good. So when Dr. Krits told me I had one again I was freaked. But there was no need. He and his assistant (I don’t remember your name. Sorry!) were very gentle and professional. They did their best to put me at ease and went slowly which was just what I needed. And I feel certain that my terror of The Chair will be lessened in the future. Learn from my mistake: If you need dental work done go to Dr. Krits.

My wife, 3 adult children and I all go here. Everyone is friendly but even more important Dr Kritz sets up an environment of high integrity and competence where they are not trying to milk everyone for the most expensive treatment or take business that is lucrative if they think someone else could do it better. Once when we were out of the country and our daughter was younger she had a dental emergency and Dr Kritz came in on a Sunday and took care of her and did not even charge us. My wife has extensive dental problems that are inherently expensive and other dentists we have been to have really taken advantage of that to milk her for for maximal $. Kritz on the other hand always offers options at different price points. Some years ago he was learning to do implants and was authorized to do them. My wife needed one and he could have taken the money be he did not feel like his expertise was adequate and was honest enough to refer her to the best implant specialist in the city. This kind of high character is not to be take for granted in dentistry. I have a family friend who is a dentist and he tells me for some reason dentistry attracts some pretty dishonest people. I need a nite guard but have never been able to sleep with one and they have spent lots of time and creativity to help me figure out how to get past that. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that while there might be the occasional minor bump about something superficial, you will be dealing with honest and competent people here.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.  The facilities are clean and new.  My appointment was on time and everything was done very efficiently.  I have had some troubling experiences at other dentists but this was one of the best.  I would highly recommend this dentist to new patients.

Had a really bad toothache all day Sunday all day and all night went there as a walk in Monday morning at 6:15 am and they just took me in took care of me in less than an hour thank God today I’m feeling so much better since they pull my tooth out. Thanks Dr Kritz you Rock men One Love
