My name is Boris Zlochevsky, and I am a patient of Doctor Nadia Tabachnik and Doctor Tomas Anderkvist. I came to their Westwood Dental Smiles office, because I have had many dental problems and needed prosthodontic treatment in order to restore my teeth, which were damaged by grinding and acid reflux. Also, I had one missing tooth, my dentition was very worn and most of my dental restorations were failing. I would like to thank Dr. Tabachnik and Dr. Anderkvist for doing such a great and impeccable job of restoring all of my teeth using porcelain crowns. My teeth all look very beautiful and feel fantastic now and I am very happy with the wonderful results that the Doctors achieved on my crown restorations. I cannot find the words to express all of my gratitude and appreciation for everything that Dr. Tabachnik and Dr. Anderkvist were able to do for me in treating my teeth.

Unbelievable… Absolutely no pain at all. As a travel, well your body breaks down you rely on recommendations, this one was spot on. Dr. “Andervkist was on time, gentle, an excellent dentist. Going to Westwood Dental Smiles for over 27 years. They treat you like family.Like a celebrity. The staff is soooo sweet and amazing… The Dr.Anderkvist: is so sweet and very professional and is arguably one the best Dr’s anywhere.

I have been with Dr Aderkvist for over 3-yrs now.  Dr Anderkvist is an exceptional dental professional.  Meticulous about his work and cares deeply for his patients.  He and his warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home in the office.  I know almost enjoy going to the dentist. And his hygienist Sarah DeHater is a wonder.  She also pays great attention to detail in cleaning and surveying any possible issues with my teeth. My mouth is much healthier and that gives me great self confidence in my smile.  I recommend them highly.

Both my wife and I have been patients of Dr. Anderkvist for over twenty years.  He is the most proficient, cutting-edge, gentle and pain-free dentist whom we have ever experienced.  Not only is he at the top of his field, but also his entire staff are professional, warm and friendly, from Cathy the office administrator to Terri the top-notch dental assistant to Sarah, the hygienist extraordinaire!

Top notch office! I would say one of the best dental offices in LA. Dr Anderkvist and everyone in the office, Kathy, Helena, Patricia, goes out of their way to make you comfortable and the experience enjoyable, they truly care about their patients needs.Great experience! Highly recommend them.

One will never find a more professional operation than Dr. Anderkvist’s office. The staff are extremely warm and efficient, the office is impeccable clean and soothing (beautiful sculptures adorn the tables and lovely music fills the air), and Dr. A looks after each patient with much dedication and care. Our family has been going to him for nearly 20 years and will continue for another 20. We are VERY fortunate to have Dr. A as our dentist.

My experience at Westwood dental smiles has been top notch.   I’m very sensitive when it comes to dentists and especially getting my teeth cleaned.  Sarah DeHater has been an exceptional hygienist and I always make sure to schedule her.   She listens and understands how to handle sensitive teeth like mine.  Dr. Anderkvist has been very detailed in his care for my teeth and always makes me feel comfortable.  From the staff to the doctors I’m a big fan of this practice

Absolutely pleased with Dr. Anderkvist and his staff. My girlfriend let her teeth go over the past few years and they needed extensive work. His team put a lot of time in to it and now my baby’s smile is absolutely beautiful again and we couldn’t be happier. I was so pleased that now he’s MY dentist. The equipment is all digital and top of the line. One of the first things he did was to show me an x-ray of a broken file that was left in my tooth during a botched root canal done by my previous dentist. After that, I knew Dr. A is the only way! I highly recommend him and his staff.

Finding a good dentist isn’t easy, finding one this good is downright difficult. You won’t find a more knowledgeable and caring dentist. Absolutely the best. He has a great staff as well. They make the responsibility of taking care or your oral health painless.

Over the years, I have moved from places to places, including Chicago, New York, and LA and have to say that, my experience with Westwood Dental Smiles is the best so far. Their front office assistant Kathy is very friendly and hygienist Sarah very professional. Moreover, I just had all three of my wisdom teeth extracted today by Dr. Anderkvist. The doctor was so skilled and smooth in this process that I couldn’t even believe it when he told me that the job was done. I really didn’t feel a thing and my wisdom teeth were just gone. I also just booked my Invisalign treatment with both Dr. Anderkvist and Dr. Tabachnik. They suggested that I should get Interproximal Reduction (IPR), instead of extracting any of my normal teeth, to get enough space for teeth alignment correction. I so look forward to that. I will come back to update my review after my Invisalign treatment.

I met Dr Anderkvist a few years ago when my teeth were a mess.  I needed multiple implants (9 upper and 1 lower) and met him for a consultation. My experiences with him were amazing. He recommended an oral surgeon to do the implants and when they had healed he completely rebuilt my upper mouth with crowns. It was a long process and over the next 10 months I came to know Tomas both personally and professionally. As a technician his work is excellent and as a person, he is warm, concerned and lovely to be around. The results of his work was that I have a full mouth of teeth, perfectly aligned and have not had any issues with them for the past 5 years. I am proud to say that he is my dentist.

I have been Tomas Anderkvst’s patient for over 20 years.When he said he would open up as the COVID-19 pandemic quiets down a bit, I trusted him to provide me with extremely careful service. His staff is very confident and skilled.It is a very happy practice which tells me that people are treated well. His dentistry is the best.

The staff and doctors are very professional and are very careful during COVID-19. Their office is equipped with equipment to keep the office and exam rooms sterile, and the staff is very diligent on disinfecting every room after each patient.

Just came here for a cleaning and it was as easy as could be! The only dentist ive left not fearing the next visit. Thanks again! And i would have disagree with these negative reviews. Ive been coming here for many years and have only had positive experiences.

WOW!!!!!!! Can I give 10 stars??? I took my mom, Gigi, to see Dr. Anderkvist and his team recently; that was the BEST decision I ever made! She was in such pain – her entire mouth was a mess. Dr. Anderkvist and everyone at Westwood Dental Smiles were so kind, thoughtful, supportive, warm and most of all, talented! Thank you Dr. Anderkvist for taking such great care of my mother, almost as if she was your OWN mother! Gigi looks like a million bucks, younger than before and is now ready to paint the town red with her pearly whites. We are so appreciative of your work, Dr. Anderkvist! Now, she can smile and eat, like a normal person, all while looking like a celebrity!

Dr. Anderkvist has been my Dentist for over 20 years. He is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and considerate in his dentistry, and what more could one want in their Dentist. Tomas Anderkvist, DDS, has been available in dental emergencies (which sometimes occur after the work week) and most patient and gracious to accommodate. His Office Staff and Hygienists have always been more than pleasant and efficient. As you can see above, Dr. Anderkvist and his Staff do deserve the five stars.

First, I’ve got to point out, Sarah the hygienist is a Godsend! Never in my life have I had a hygienist that is so personable, gentle and yet totally effective cleaning my teeth. She’s made it so I don’t dread going to the dentist like everybody else I know & I drive an hour each way simply because I don’t trust anybody else with cleaning my teeth. But also, I’ve been going to Dr. Anderkvist for over a decade and he’s always done top-notch work to keep my teeth going strong. My bad habits in years past led to a fair amount of work needing to be done over the years and he and his team have always done excellent work in a very comfortable environment. I have total confidence in all of them.

Favorite dentist ever! I’ve been coming to doctor Anderkvist for years now and for good reason. He is educated, patient, and kind, which helps make going to the dentist as relaxing as possible. Love the office atmosphere and have recommended him to many of my friends. 10/10 doctor.

We have been seeing Dr. Anderkvist for many years and he is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is a caring person and he only does what is necessary for our well being. His work is exceptional and pain free. All of us are lucky to have him taking care of us.

After an exhaustive search online for dentists that treat people afraid of the dentist…..I FINALLY found someone that is wonderful and that I trust. Dr. Anderkvist and his entire staff are AMAZING. They listened to all of my concerns and treated me with so much compassion and respect. I have severe phobias about the dentist and they were able to treat me AND make me look forward to coming back and following up. I am so grateful to have found a dentist I can work with that I trust. They treat you like you are the only patient they have and I look forward to a long relationship with Dr. Anderkvist and his team.
