I sought out a way to write a review for Dr. Toubian because I was so impressed with my visit today. I am in LA on business for a few days and woke up with extreme tooth pain. After reading the great reviews for Dr. Toubian, I called and explained my situation. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and they had me come in immediately. Everyone I encountered at the office was pleasant. The office itself is very clean and modern, with the latest technology. Dr. Toubian took her time to examine me and clearly is highly skilled as a dentist. But as important, she has a tremendous demeanor that immediately set me at ease. I also witnessed her taking her time with another patient, and she had the same kind, quiet, non-judgmental attitude.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Katherine Toubian yesterday. She may be the best dentist I’ve ever had…! Very gentle, caring and professional. Thank you Doctor!

I’ve been going to Dr. Toubian for the past two years since I moved back to the States after living abroad – and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Besides the consistently great work she’s done on my teeth, she is exceptionally patient, gentle and caring. Finding healthcare professionals that care for your well-being beyond the scope of dental work alone is a rare find, and I could not sing her praises highly enough.

Dr. is caring and thorough in her work.  Her staff is first rate and well trained.  She provides a very warm and comfortable treatment environment in her “state of the art” office. Dr. Toubian (and her staff) regularly pursues continuing education.  This allows her to keep up with latest innovations and treatment procedures, which I personally find very comforting.  It also keeps her at the top of her game!

Dr. Toubian has been my dentist for over a decade! Beautiful, clean, state of the art office with the most friendly and professional staff. I truly look forward to going to the dentist not only because I know I’ll leave with gleaming teeth, but also because of how much care Dr. Toubian has for her patients! Additionally, their hygienists are all fantastic – especially, Pam!

I don’t normally write any reviews unless I am really impressed, but I had to do one for Dr. Toubian because I have never had the amazing experience with any other dentist. Starting with her staff; Maria the receptionist is the best. She is so nice, patient and explains to the T everything that you need to know regarding treatment and payment. The assistant in the back, I believe her name is Aurora; she is also the sweetest and does her best for you to feel comfortable and have a pleasant experience. Dr. Toubian is by far the best dentist I’ve been to.  Let me tell you a little about the experience with my last dentist. The last dentist I had to go to it was because I had to take a wisdom tooth out. She was so rough and left my mouth hurting so bad that I had to take Norcos to try to seize the pain. I did my research and went to Dr. Toubian to take out the rest and she was so gentle. She made sure I was really numbed so I wouldn’t feel any pain. I’m not going to lie, I did feel a little  pulling, but it was nothing compared to the other dentist. I highly recommend anyone to go with Dr. Toubian’s office if you want a pleasant visit to the dentist. Definitely would give her office 10 starts if that was possible.

I have been in care of Dr. Toubian for the past 16 years. She has worked on my teeth on many visits and pretty much has enhanced my smile and the health of my gums from moderate to serve gum disease to a healthy state. She has saved me from having gum surgeries by educating me about oral hygiene and spending lots of time educating me about the overall state of my mouth. She has also performed some fillings, crowns and cosmetic work. Thanks to Dr. Toubian which has taken me from being embarrassed to show my teeth now to being proud to smile very BIG! I am so glad I found someone who has so much passion for her work and cares so much about her patients. I never dreamed of having such beautiful healthy teeth. I can not brag enough about her care and her beautiful office.

I have been to Westwood Family dentist twice. Both experiences were good – the Dr. and employees were all professional and understanding (I had a terrible experience at another dentist office). The place is very clean too! I would recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Toubian. She has and continues to make my dental visits really pleasant. Not only is she a compassionate, concerned Dr., with the best bedside manner you could ever hope for, she is thoroughly professional and detailed. She took as much time as I needed to explain and to teach me about my teeth, gums etc. I am excited to continue my visits and to have healthier, more attractive teeth and gums than I’ve ever had, and I am 53! I highly recommend Dr. Toubian. Oh yes, and the office staff, from my initial phone call through my latest (3rd) appointment, they are the nicest, most patient, considerate and accommodating front office staff you could ever hope for. Highly recommended.

My son and I have been going to Westwood Family dental for many years. Dr. Toubian is a highly qualified and experienced dentist and she is a very kind and nice person. Moreso, she is a perfectionist and an artist in the very high quality of her dentistry. Dr. Toubian’s very well trained staff are all kind, patient and very professional. They care about all their patients and take time to explain and advise on the recommended treatment plan and various options. I highly recommend Katherine Toubian, DDS and Westwood Family Dental. In fact, I have sent several friends and colleagues to her and they have all been very happy.

I was in Los Angeles for work when I had a dental emergency. I called to schedule an emergency appointment and they were able to see me that day just a few hours after I had called. It turns out that one of my molars had a chunk missing and was infected. I was given the choice between a root canal or an extraction and I chose to go with the extraction. The extraction appointment was booked the very next day. The entire process from start to finish was amazing! I forget the name of the surgeon who removed my tooth but he was very professional, honest, and helpful every step of the way. He took extra care and precaution to make sure that I was comfortable and safe before he did anything. The entire staff at this office are extremely kind and friendly. I would 100% recommend this dentistry to anyone with any dental issues. 5/5 stars!

Best dentist around! I’ve been going to see Dr. Toubian for years and I must say I am happy with my dentist.. She is very thorough and makes sure you understand what needs to be done. My whole family is seen and loves her soft touch! Going into a dental office can be stressful, from the moment you walk into this office (that is beautifully remodeled by the way) you feel the friendliness and warmth. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for the best dentist around! Thanks Dr. Toubian for being amazing at what you do!!

I have known Dr Toubian for the past 15 years, She has been an excellent and reliable dentist for our advertising audience, She is extremely professional and conscientious to each patient’ need, I highly recommend her for any dental needs,

I admit that I had previously not taken good care of myself. I went to a few dentists, who all told me that I would need extensive repairs done. But Dr. Toubian went out of her way to make the work as painless and effective as possible, and to take the measures to maintain not just good dental health, but overall health (eating right, getting exercise, lowering stress). She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had and the entire staff really looks out for their patients. Highest recommendation!

Dr. Toubian has been my dentist for over 5 years.  When I first came to her I had fairly severe gum disease and a lot of gum recession. I am happy to say that her treatment and advice have caused a complete recovery of my gums!  I use the electric toothbrush and water pic she recommended daily and my gums are very healthy and I love my smile.  She is super thorough (a perfectionist) and often does the cleanings herself.  Her staff is seasoned and friendly.  For all of the work she has done on my teeth (replaced all of my mercury fillings), I have never had to go back because something was done incorrectly.

Dr. Toubian and her staff are the best dental practice around. I always feel like they are giving me the best care. Dr. Toubian also has a wonderful and caring bedside manner. Trust me, if you are looking for a dentist, this is the practice to go to.

I first went to Dr Toubian for a wisdom tooth referral, but she’s since helped me with crowns and cavities. She and her entire team are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They go out of their way to fight difficult insurance companies on your behalf. Plus, there’s a massive parking lot and early 7 am appointments so you can go before work. So happy I found a go-to dentist whom I can trust.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Toubian and her entire staff!!! I originally came to her a few weeks ago for an emergency root canal that was causing me extreme pain. From the moment i called to see if i could get an appointment the staff was so accommodating and friendly and got me in right away! I have extreme dental anxiety and from the very beginning Dr. Toubian was kind, empathetic and listened to me.  She explained everything and helped to ease my mind.  She has such a gentle, calming bedside manner that even though i still had anxiety i knew i was in great hands!  Im so glad i finally found a dentist and office i love!  I cant say enough great things about her!

I never liked going to the dentist but I always look forward to mine now. The staff is always friendly and show they care about their patients. I have been a patient of Doctor Toubian’s for over fifteen years. Dr Toubin is informative and extremely friendly, I felt as though she was throughough and cared about my general well being and that I understood the information she was giving me about my teeth. Her staff is equally informative and friendly, the office is beautiful. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a new dentist. I hate the dentist but I do not mind seeing this one at all!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years and was so worried about the judgement I’d receive when I finally decided to book an appointment with Dr. Toubian. Up until Dr. Toubian, I had nothing but bad experiences with dentists which is why I had waited so long to finally go again. My teeth and gums have never been in good shape, even as a child, and it comes from a mixture of poor dental hygiene and genetics…Every dentist I’ve seen would just scold me for not brushing or flossing correctly/consistently, and some didn’t even want to deal with the problem at all. Because of this, I always left dentist offices feeling insecure and not knowing what to do – no one gave me clear direction until I met with Dr. Toubian and her wonderful team. Dr. Toubian is extremely kind, caring, and gentle. I’ve now been seeing her for 8 months. I’ve obviously had to get a lot of dental work done since my first visit, as I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 5 years, but each visit was and continues to be an absolute pleasure. I always leave feeling great and confident about my teeth. Also, a quick shout out to my hygienist, Pam! She’s been so wonderful in helping me through my periodontal treatment. My gums were so inflamed and constantly bleeding all the time, and now they’re in the best shape they’ve ever been in – all thanks to her and Dr. Toubian’s expert advice and care. Pam and Dr. Toubian always acknowledge my efforts for at-home care (I really do try!) and it keeps me so motivated to take care of my teeth and gums. Every time I see them for a cleaning, they’re in awe of how much progress I’ve made… and as am I! I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Toubian and her team. They are wonderful and hard working individuals, and I’m very grateful they were able to help me get my oral health back on track.

Dr. Toubian is a very kind, caring & good dentist. She is thorough in her work & proactive with recommending preventive treatments. The same can be said for the hygienist at the office, Pam. The wait time is minimal to nothing & they’re very good about letting you know how long each procedure takes. The office is immaculate & in an easily accessible location, in a prime area of West Los Angeles. Preventative care can get pricey and you can always refuse it but the costs of letting your teeth & gums go could also be much greater in the future (with poorer results). So I’m heeding Dr. Toubian’s advice and at my financial pace getting sealants put on & treating smaller cavities before they get bigger. I highly recommend Dr. Toubian, her hygienist & sweet staff who make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible.

Fantastic and affordable and never keeps you waiting.  And the best part is she extremely gentle with a wonderful aura of kindness and sincerity.  Seriously, I had an entire mouth of veneers put in 13 years ago and my grinding caused about 5 teeth to chip.  I had 2 replaced at another facility and it took months, colors were wrong, temporary kept falling out.  Then I moved to Los Angeles and two more chipped.  I took a chance on one of those direct mail advertisements that she posted and came into her office.  (By the way, parking is free and easy).  Oh, and the office staff is very, very helpful and extroidinarily efficient.  Thank you!!!!!

Looking for a Good dentist is like looking for a good barber; once you get out of the chair, you want to feel good about the end result. I scheduled an appointment for a deep cleaning, once I arrived I felt comfortable immediately because it didn’t feel like your typical dentist office, it felt like I was in the lobby of profound establishment waiting to do business. The receptionist greeted me as I crossed the threshold and she was very courteous and up beat. It wasn’t a long wait at all, I appreciated  that. Dr. Toubian was gentle yet firm with me, she told me I had healthy gums and teeth looked fine, but was a straight shooter, also told me I needed to floss more then what I had been (which wasn’t much) and I was in danger of getting a cavity. What separates her from other dentist (aside from good looks) was she didn’t speak to me like a doctor, more like and oral counselor, she seemed more concern with me keeping my mouth healthy then I did. And that’s the hallmark of a great dentist, someone cares about your oral hygiene and cosmetics then the actual patient. Once I left, I knew I wouldn’t have to go back for a while. She got deep into my pockets (mouth that is) and even showed me a method of how I can floss better and deeper.

Having been a health professional myself for 45 years I know when I see excellence. Dr Toubian is a perfectionist, something very important to a dental professional. Her treatment is the very best I have received in my over 60 years of dentist visits. Very highly recommended and then some!

She is an amazing Doctor so attentive and the staff is so lovely. I am very happy to be with Dr Toubian she actually personally cleans my teeth never upsells and always makes sure that my teeth are in tip top shape. Also she spoils her clients with free drinks and lots of goodies which is a plus.

Dr. Toubian has been my family Dentist for over 15 years. My family’s teeth have been checked by her on a regular basis. My sensitive teeth are not easy to work on, but she has made it a pleasure to have my teeth worked on. Her soft touch, pain free procedures is unique in this industry. I’m a very picky person and extremely detailed, so when it came to working with Dr. Toubian on getting my veneers, I was very specific and maybe a bit demanding with how I wanted them to look. Dr. Toubian, an artist at her trade, was extremely understanding and professional with me. She not only heeded my requests, but she also provided advice on certain aesthetic and dental aspects that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about. From consultation to finalizing her work, I felt comfortable voicing my opinions and she worked with me to answer all my questions and concerns. The experience of working with her on my new veneers was collaborative and as a result, I felt that I could trust her and the decisions she was making in my best interest. When I was unhappy with something, she provided me several options so I could make the decision that I felt most comfortable with and in the end I was left satisfied. Dr. Toubian is a professional and a veneers artist, and she takes her work very seriously. I strongly recommend her as a Dr. because when you’re paying for a procedure that is so personal and visually noticeable, you want someone who’s willing to listen to your requests, work with you transparently, and is personally invested in doing the best and most precise job possible.

Dr Toubian has been my dentist for almost 4 years. She is a complete perfectionist and  is very thorough. I really like the fact she keeps up to date on the newest technology and published clinical data. The dentist I went to before I became a patient of Dr Toubian’s had his dental hygienist clean my teeth almost every time. He missed some cavities and issues I had going on. Dr Toubian does all of her cleanings personally so she catches everything. I know I can trust that she is giving me the best care possible. When I have had emergencies or issues, she will come in on her day off to help you. She is extremely dedicated.
