I don’t usually write reviews, but I just HAVE TO share my awesome experience at the Glamorous Smile. First of all, I messaged the dentist on Yelp that I had a toothache and need to make an appointment asap, and they call me back at once. It was really nice. The building was so beautiful and all stuff were so sweet. I had some cavities, and Dr. G numbed my tooth without a shot, which was really cool. My filling was beautifully done, too. He made sure if was doing okay every second, so it didn’t hurt at all. I just cannot appreciate Dr. G more. Thank you so much

I broke my tooth on Friday. By that afternoon I was able to get an emergency appointment with DR. G. His office is in the middle of everything basically in the middle of Westwood Village.  I found parking right away opting to park across the street in the parking garage.  The front of the office looks kind of like it has a 1920’s high-class office feel to it wood doors with glass on top and etched lettering.  As you enter you are engulfed in serenity. You are immediately greeted.  The receptionist was very nice and struck up a conversation but most importantly put me in front of the Doc within a few minutes of my arrival.   The guy is like a walking mountain probably over 6 foot tall but most impressive was his brain.  He immediately got me into x-ray and while he waited for them had his assistant give me a light cleaning while we waited.  As soon as they came back he explained what probably happened according to what he saw and the x-rays.   He explained everything very expertly and I immediately knew I was with someone who knew his stuff.  He gave me a price and asked me if I would like to proceed. I agreed and not too long later he was able to save the tooth and even strengthen it.   Thank you Doc!  If you are looking for Dental expert that will make you feel comfortable and explain the pros and cons of the work to be performed even under pressure this is your guy. Client for life!

Came in for a checkup and cleaning. was extremely convenient to my office at ucla. was about a block away. after reading the reviews I had to come I to see if this was what it was cracked up to be. well it definitely was. the front desk lady was very nice the hygienist extremely intelligent as the doctor was too. they’ve apparently been here since the 40’s. the building is old as much of Westwood is bit. you come in and it has that old fashioned grandma loving room feeling. you don’t feel like your at a dental office at all. I had a broken front filling from a rugby tournament that had been tried to be fixed but everyone kept telling me i needed veeners. well dr Guillen just did it form me and I can’t even see it! it simply fantastic! I typically don’t write reviews but I had to for this! great place that wants a really honest dentist that’s not out to rip you off. enjoy

Was recommended by one of my best friends and was extremely happy. great new dental equipment ,kind chairside manner and excellent staffing. I waited a total of 30 seconds! which is incredible! I had a broken filling that needed to be taken care of but just had procrastinated as everyone typically does. I didn’t feel the anesthetic at all. he has a cool machine that gently numbs your tooth without feeling a thing! truly amazing! a must come for those seeking a dentist

As a coffee lover, Dr. Guillen is a godsend. He got rid of my coffee stains! (thank goodness I’m not a wino). Dr. Guillen and his staff are amazing! My friend went to see Dr. Guillen and recommended him highly. I was able to book an appointment quickly and they are so welcoming. From the moment you walk in the door, to the moment you leave, you feel taken care of. Sometimes, hygienists just force the x-rays and its uncomfortable, This experience was the opposite of that. Dr. Guillen is very thorough and explains what the issues are on the x-rays and makes you feel comfortable while in the chair. He is very skillful and honest about what you need or don’t need and I really appreciate that (especially after a bad experience where the dentist just kept doing procedures and I ended up leaving with a $1,100 bill). I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome dentist and painless experience. Bonus points for being a dentist who sincerely cares about his patients and their dental health

Dr. Guillen and his staff are fantastic!!! I have had invasalign for about a year and my teeth are looking better than ever. My young daughter has had some dental work done and she honestly looks forward to going to the dentist every time. My husband has also had some work done, and boy, after 10+ of years of not visiting the dentist because of prior bad experiences, he was very pleased on the devoted attention and care they provided. If you are looking for a family friendly dental office that makes you feel comfortable and is particularly careful with your smile, then this is really great place. You can even rock out to your favorite tunes while you get your teeth cleaned!!

We need a 6 star option for places like this. Dr.Guillen and his staff treat you like family. The process is fast and easy but not rushed. Dr.G has a great personality but more importantly, his skills as a dentist are second to none. He loves what he does and does an amazing job at it. I was highly impressed at how state-of-the-art the technology was; Dr.G makes sure the patient is provided with the best possible treatment and care. I first went in for a cavity and he used a new device on me that allowed the removal of the cavity with no pain nor injection (sounds too good to be true I know). They also use an ultrasonic scaler for teeth cleaning which leaves your teeth and gums incredibly clean without the soreness that comes with hand tools. While Dr.G was in there he also fixed a crooked filling for me–I didn’t realize it was a problem until I closed my mouth and realized how much better my bite and more relaxed my mouth became. All those years of “I hate the dentist” will be put to rest on your first visit, I promise

I have to say Dr. Guillen is one of the best Dentist I have seen. I work in the area and was referred by my wife to go and see Dr. Guillen. I was having pain in my mouth so I contacted his office and the Office manager was very friendly and set me up for an appointment at my convenience. After my consultation the Dr. explained my treatment and what I needed to do to help restore my teeth to a better health. I have been to his office 4 times since my initial visit and I thank them for what they did to improve my oral health. My wife has had invisalign and her teeth look great, I am now looking forward to getting invisalign done as well. I would recommend Dr. Guillen to any one who is looking for a good dentist who cares about your oral health

I’ve been extremely satisfied with all my visits. Dr. Guillen and his staff are super friendly and accommodative. Dr. Guillen is amazing at what he does and he always makes sure that you’re as comfortable as possible. I’ve never been to a dentist office with so many state of the art gadgets that really go a long way in making all of my procedures efficient and painless. He embraces technology in a way that I’ve never experienced before with previous dentists. His entire staff makes sure that your problems are taken care of with the quality of care that they deserve. A couple months ago I cracked one of my fillings and I was leaving for vacation overseas two days later. Panicking, I called the office and they were able to book me immediately the following morning. Dr. Guillen performed a quick-fix operation to fix my filling so that I could go on my vacation worry-free and scheduled a follow up visit when I returned. They also give 20% discount to UCLA students! I’ve recommended many of my friends to them already!

Best dentist EVER! I was a dental phobe but no more. They even did my first root canal.
Caring and compassionate paired with outstanding competency. I’ve been using Dr. Guillen for over 4 years and won’t go anywhere else. Hygenist is also excellent. She has mapped my sensitive spots and is careful when cleaning. I go twice a year and my oral health has never been better. I no longer have a fear of the dentist. Thanks Westwood Village Smiles!
