I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Bremnes’s patient for the better part of a decade. I am somewhat of a dentalphobe and have always had anxiety when it comes to the dentist. That all changed when I became her patient. Her gentle kind and competent manner of treating me always sets me at ease. The dental hygienist and assistants are always pleasant as well as the front desk. Even though I moved down south I make it a point to visit the office when I’m back for my check ups!

Recently moved to GC and was looking to switch dentists since it was time for me and hubs’ cleaning. Thank you Yelp for leading me to Dr. Jaime B!. From the reminder emails (note that if you make an appt through ZocDoc, you will get twice as many notifications. I think I got about 10 reminders in total LoL), checking in with Jon (who is super friendly and personable), Rayna prepping me, the hygienist and finally meeting Dr. Jaime, the whole experience was truly exceptional! The hygienist really took her time going through every nook and cranny. I have to say, I think that was the best and most enjoyable cleaning I’ve ever gotten! Plus you get a cute reusable goodie bag with toothpaste, toothbrush, 2 min hourglass and floss. Actually can’t wait to go back for my next cleaning. Woo hoo!

Dr. Bremnes is wonderful! She had very big shoes to fill when my husband and I started seeing her. Sadly our old dentist, who my husband had been going to for over 34 years along with the rest of his family, retired. It took us awhile to settle on Dr. Bremnes after much research. Before visiting Whitehall Dental Arts for the first time, I was with my previous Dentist for over 25 years while living in the Bronx. Once I moved and settled in my new home on Long Island, it was time to find a Dentist closer to home so I would no longer have to travel back and forth to the Bronx. My wife spoke with a friend who had recommended Dr. Bremnes and after hearing nothing but good things, proceeded to make my first appointment for me. When I walked through the front door of Whitehall Dental Arts, my initial reaction was that I went to the wrong address. I felt as though I had just walked into a beautiful “Day Spa,” there was no possible way I went to Whitehall Dental Arts. From the look of the waiting area, to the wonderful aroma that filled the office air, along with the welcoming staff at the front desk, this place was absolutely incredible. I could not believe my eyes, what a gorgeous Dental office!! Dr. Bremnes’s office is filled with “State of the Art” equipment, excellent and caring staff, and this is a new one for me, television monitors in every room that are mounted on the ceiling which allows you to relax and watch tv while being fully reclined in the dental chair. Okay, now let me say a few words about Dr. Jaime Bremnes. Where do I begin, to say that Dr. Bremnes is a great Dentist would just not be enough. Dr. Bremnes is such a warm and caring person, she is very personable, and has a wealth of knowledge in the field of Dentistry. It’s very rare today to find such a human being like Dr. Bremnes, she goes that extra mile, gives 110% of herself, and probably hand picked each and every person that is employed at Whitehall Dental Arts. Without a doubt, TOP SHELF STAFF. I cannot say enough about how wonderful I was treated during my visit to Whitehall Dental Arts. I truly love Dr. Bremnes, she is so giving of her time, she genuinely cares about you, and it is very obvious to see that Dr. Bremnes loves what she does. I will never go to any other Dentist ever again. I am happy to say that Dr. Bremnes has myself, along with my wife and two children as patients for life. I must also make mention in this review that I am “NOT RELATED” in any way to Dr. Bremnes, or any of her staff members. Just came here for a second opinion consultation after another dentist told me I had to fill all my cavities at once. She informed me that opposed to doing all the dental work at once and paying an insane amount like the other practice said, I could do it gradually and as needed. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Bremnes had a deep passion for dentistry starting from a young age. Unfortunate dental cavities led to a rather fortunate situation. Regular visits to the dentist fostered a strong bond between Dr. Bremnes and her own dentist. This bond led to a summer job dental assisting and a long-time mentorship. After graduating early with honors from Hofstra University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology and minor in Fine Art, Dr. Bremnes embarked upon a Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. During her last year, Dr. Bremnes was accepted into the elite honors clinic at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) and worked at a highly independent level, a privilege not generally given to students. After graduating in 2007, Dr. Bremnes decided to pursue a General Practice Residency program at St. Charles Hospital. It is at St. Charles Hospital where she became proficient at management of dental emergencies and working with the developmentally disabled as well as the geriatric population. After completing residency, Dr. Bremnes worked in private practice in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. As the Frank Sinatra song goes, “New York, New York, If I can make it there I can make it anywhere..”, Dr. Bremnes decided to take the skills and experience she honed throughout her vast training and practice in Manhattan to Garden City. Dr. Bremnes looks forward to using her gentle touch and wealth of knowledge to bring you that perfect smile you have always wanted.
