Great Dr. Have been with them for over 2 years. When my daughter was about 8 years old a dentist from cool smiles in Laredo Texas did a horrible job putting her crown. (She switched sizes about 4 times making) by the 4th time I asked her to stop! She said she had going the right one. As I just looked at my daughter crying and bleeding I just was stunned! My disgusted was traumatized with that experience! So it has been very hard to take her to a dentist without her feeling very scared.. But when I arrived to San Antonio I found Dr. Estrella’s office and we love it. My daughter is no longer scared, I explained everything that she went through and he made sure she was not going to be terrified. She even made him cookies for Christmas! Great staff!!!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Estrella for many years. He is very caring and professional. We have had some bad experiences in the past with other dentists and dental clinics and feel blessed to have found a dentist who really cares about his patients. He is also a perfectionist and goes takes tremendous pride in his work. The staff is very friendly and the wait is usually very short.

I and my whole family have been seeing Dr. Estrella for approximately 18 months now – we moved to the area and received a recommendation from a coworker. I cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr. Estrella, Jennifer, and all of the support staff work extremely hard to make sure patients are given the highest quality treatment for whatever dental needs they have. The facility is inviting, clean, and modern. They make every effort to ensure that patients are educated about dental care and are very welcoming of questions. I leave the facility with a smile not just because I had my teeth cleaned, but because of how taken care of I feel. On a more superficial note: I’ve never waited more than a minute or two before Jennifer is ready for me. That’s pretty cool. Also, this isn’t some cell phone plan contract – if you go once, twice, or a hundred times, there’s never any obligation to go back or stay with them if for some reason you don’t want to (i.e. you’re populating Mars, and the flight to see Dr. Estrella would kill your budget). I encourage anyone and everyone to go to Wilderness Oak Family Dentistry. You won’t regret it

I was a little bit concerned with going to a new dentist. I really don’t like going to the dentist as it is. Once I sat down in the chair, the oral hygienist helped relax me some with small talk. When Dr. Estrella came in and talked with me, that was the rest of what I needed to relax. My experiences here have been very fast (I never have to wait when I arrive). They are always very friendly and professional. I’ll keep coming here because of the hometown feel they provide.

I started seeing Dr. Estrella when he was with another dentistry office in town. In fact, I was sent to Dr. Estrella because their first dentist had done 4 crowns incorrectly. Dr. Estrella fixed them all and other than one that came from the manufacturer with a flaw, everything has gone great. In fact, one of the crowns that he did at the other office came off when I bit into a piece of hard candy. He was under no obligation to fix it, but he did it for free. No cost – ever. I’ve sent multiple friends and family members to Dr. Estrella and they all love him. Nobody has ever been over-charged and the work he has done has been of the highest quality. I would definitely recommend using Dr. Estrella to anyone who needs or wants a great dentist

I thought I was doing the logical thing by switching to a dentist closer to our newer home (we used to live pretty close to Dr. Estrella’s office) and that was a huge mistake. Being military moves our family around every few years and we’re forced to see different providers constantly. I’ve seen and taken my family to so many different dental offices and I’d have to say this office is one of the best I’ve been to. Good dental offices usually don’t take military dental insurance and forces us to see some really questionable providers sometimes but I was impressed with their procedures and how smoothly things go. I recently moved to the area and am very choosey about my dentist. I’ve had wonderful dentists in the past as well as dentists willing and recommending to redo my entire mouth at a premium. Dr. Estrella took his time to meet me, was very calming and did not try to sell me additional products nor did he recommend treatments that aren’t necessary at this time. My hygienist did a thorough, yet gentle job cleaning my teeth and was very attentive to my needs. I am recommending my husband schedule ASAP and would recommend Dr. Estrella to my friends. I think it’s cool that my kids will see his sister, a pediatric dentist next door to his practice (Kids World Dentistry), in just a couple weeks! This office and Dr.Estrella were very caring and addressed all of my dental need. They were made aware of my medical condition and reactions to meds in the past, and worked with them. My experience with Dr. Estrella’s office has been great. Prior to Dr. Estrella I saw multiple dentists in SA and a lot of them charged me for procedures that would be covered by my insurance (such as lab fees) and they also suggested treatments that I didn’t need (veneers, porcelain inlays). Dr. Estrella is conservative and will provide you multiple options for treatment. He is professional and very caring. Everyone I’ve referred has been very happy with him as a doctor.

When we first moved to San Antonio my 12 year old daughter had a cap on her front tooth break. Knowing how traumatic this can be for a teenager at a new school we frantically called all the dentists around us to find one that could take her right away.
