I highly recommend Dr. Susan Chang. After visiting different dentists in Northern Virginia and DC area , I was blown away by the amount of attention Dr. Chang gave to my teeth on my first visit, and I felt I found the right doctor. I have been coming here for 3 years. Dr Chang has a wonderful bedside manner and chooses the methods that work best for the patient. She is very nice, knowledgeable and humble and explains each and every thing she is doing. I have never received such quality service from a dental office. Moreover, everyone from Wildwood Bethesda Cosmetic & Family Dental is wonderful! The front desk ladies are so polite, helpful, and professional. Specially Mina is amazing. All of the dental assistants make you feel comfortable and properly taken care of.

As an elderly couple, Dr Chang has saved our teeth with crowns, pulled a couple that couldn’t be saved and then had bridges with artificial teeth made. She is very gentle.

The story is way too long to explain, but I was in desperate need of finding a dentist early Sunday morning. I was in excrutiating pain and when I woke up around 3 am Sunday morning, my left cheek was extremely swollen and hard as a rock. My daughter found Dr. Chang on line and as soon as I called, Yasmine picked up the phone and was warm and welcoming immediately. I explained the situation and she put me right in with Dr. Chang. As soon a I arrived, Yasmine’s warm smile and compassion was evident. When Dr. Chang called me back, I explained my situation (which was quite lengthy) and after taking a film (Yasmine was incredibly gentle, considering I could hardly open up my mouth), Dr. Chang told me I had an incredibly deep, serious infection and that had I not gone to her when I did, it could have spread in my bloodstream to other parts of my body. She was very gentle when numbing my tooth, and told me if I felt any discomfort just to raise my hand. The end result was that she was an absolute perfectionist when she extracted my tooth. I was extremely grateful to Dr. Chang, Yasmine and the rest of her staff for their kind, sensitivity, compassion and professionalism during this very difficult time for me. If I can give more than 5 stars I would. My whole family is transferring to Dr. Chang”s office as a result of this unfortunate situation that happened with me. I am so grateful to all of them!

Dr.Susan Chang is fantastic with children and adults alike. My children actually look forward to going to see her! She encourages them regarding brushing & flossing and always has their favorite shows on when they come. She is also very competent and approachable. My best experience with dentistry thus far.

I am so impressed by Dr. Chang’s ability to provide comfort to her patients. I have witnessed it personally and from patients next to me in the waiting room. She makes me feel comfortable and I trust her work. I got a filling done without any problems. She asked if I was feeling okay during the procedure which made me feel good. I also like how she explains the procedure at hand and any questions I have are clarified. I have had bad experiences in the past with dentists that rushed my appointments or did not acknowledge me. Dr. Chang cleared away my bad memories and now I have good memories to share! She is truly wonderful.

I don’t ordinarily write reviews but I thought it would be good for this practice. Dr. Chang and her staff are just fantastic. Very professional, with the highest quality of standards and impeccable service. The office is pretty modern and up to comfortable standards. Dr. Chang and her staff seemed very competent and yet friendly when I went for appointments. She was very attentive to my needs, thorough in explaining the recommended treatment, and gentle when treating me. I highly recommend her and her office for routine exam and other necessary treatment as needed.

I was a first-time patient today and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chang. She was very thorough but gentle and their prices are very reasonable. I have already reccommended her to my partner and would suggest others check her out as well. Love the free parking and ease of getting to their office.

My experience at Wildwood Bethesda Cosmetic and Family Dental Center has been very pleasant. The dental center is very new and modern. The waitrooom is equipped with very comfortable seats, a large flat screen TV and cable, a water dispenser, and a kureig coffee machine; all available to their clients. It’ll keep anyone entertained or happy until their appointment. What’s great about this dental center is the people. The receptionist is very accommodating and friendly, and will help answer any questions you may have. The dentist and the hygienist(s) are very personable, they take their time attending to your teeth, but more importantly they take the time to get to know you, unlike other establishments. They just seem to care about their clients. I know from personal experience. The dentist, Susan, is even willing to accommodate her clients’ busy schedule or personal emergencies. She is willing to set up appointments after-hours and even on weekends. My first appointment was scheduled at 7:30PM on a weeknight, after work, to avoid making up time. Despite the late appointment, Susan and her assistant never rushed with my clean-up. She spent over an hour attending to my teeth, showing me the before/after pictures of the clean-up, and provided some consultant and advice for me based on the condition of my teeth. All at the same time, she joked and asked me questions to get to know me better, and made me feel very comfortable. I’ll certainly becoming back! Thanks

My boyfriend and I are new to the area and both were due for some dental work. We chose Wildwood based on the proximity to our home and the positive Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed at all! The staff was really helpful and friendly. Dr. Chang carefully did my entire cleaning and took my x rays (I’m used to only seeing the dentist for a couple minutes at the end of my appointments and mainly being with a hygienist the whole time). But it was refreshing to have a dentist who devotes so much time and attention to each patient. I would recommend to anyone in the Rockville area looking for an enjoyable and thorough dentist visit  🙂

Since the quality of dental works is so important to me, I visited several dentists in the area to find a high-quality and caring dentist. In general, I didn’t have good experience at my previous dentists. But after visiting Dr.Chang I am so happy that I found the best dentist. Being a new patient they took a set of X-rays and Dr. Chang thoroughly explained what she saw wrong and what steps were needed to correct it. I never had a dentist who sat down with me and talked me through just the Xrays. It would usually be, “everything looks okay” or “you have a cavity we need to fill”. You know how sometimes people tell you that you need work done but then you second guess if they are being honest or not ? I didn’t feel like that at all in their office. She gladly answered all questions and made me feel very comfortable moving forward with my dental work. She is so knowledgeable, smart and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang and her staff are top notch in dentistry, service, and following up. The front desk ladies are very nice, friendly and helpful.
