The first time I came to Wilshire Smile Studio was in July of 2017. I had the worst Gingivitis most people had ever seen. Not only were my gums terrible, my teeth were also very crooked and I had cavities. After 3 years of regular visits, Invisalign, gum surgery, cleanings, and whitening, I can now say I am the happiest I have ever been with my smile. The amount of confidence I have gained since fixing my smile is something I thought was impossible. I strongly recommend WSS and all of the amazing people that work there.

Being a patient of Wilshire Smile Studio has been a wonderful experience, and its surprising for me to say this about a dentist! The Doctor and team helped me get settle in and ease my anxiety considering I have never been a fan of visits to any health-related place. They were attentive, fast in responding to questions, and were ahead of the curve in following up and checking on my treatment progress. The location was very clean, inviting, and definitely looks like the professional space that a dentist in Los Angeles should have. I recommend this place to anyone.

My friend who lives in the area of Korea Town recommended me to a dentist located on Wilshire blvd. She told me to check it out because I’m usually not a fan of visiting dentists but this place was different and exceptional compared to the ones that I’ve been to in the past. The other dental clinics that I’ve been to were poorly taken care of, disorganized in setting appointments, and basically did not take care of my teeth the way I wanted them to. Wilshire Smile Studio Dental Group is a great example of professionalism, organization, and superb dental work! Appointments are on point (can be made same day), staffs are initiative and willing to assist, and most importantly they deliver great service on my teeth. My teeth were handled carefully and details concerning my teeth were explained in easy terms. Pleasing experience! Would recommend!

I would not have gone the regular brace route because in my profession I am in front of so many people each day. A mouthful of braces in front of customers and prospects and other executive partners wasn’t an option. Found Wilshire Smile Studio through the good old Google and was impressed by their reviews. I decided to invest and get the Invisalign. This was by far the best investment I have made. I am a busy guy, and using Invisalign fit right into my lifestyle. They gave me a great smile and a complimentary teeth whitening. Walked away from this dental office happy. Not sure how many other people can say that about their dentist.

I don’t like dentists and I never thought I would be talking the time to write a review about one, but Dr. Elyassi is different!  From the moment I arrived, everyone treated me like I mattered.. I have been through the ringer when it comes to doctors and dentists – and too many don’t care about a patient, just the insurance card! I was only getting my teeth cleaned, but I felt that everyone was so focused on me. I didn’t have to sit there waiting like my old dentists.  He took the time to show me where he was looking inside my mouth with a camera – I have to admit, being a tech geek, that was VERY cool!  The Dr. Explained to me what he looks for and what I can do to make sure my teeth and gums stay healthy.  I was lucky, it’s been over a year since i have been to the dentist and I have a clean bill of health, no cavities!!  Thanks!

Emergency Dental help!!  I had recently joined a Volleyball league that meets every other week.  A few of my friends decided to take Friday off and practice at the beach.  Long story short, I caught an elbow while going to the net and nearly had my tooth broken in half.  My friend who hit me by accident was devastated and a little freaked out. I wasn’t that concerned until I looked at my mouth… I don’t want to gross you out so I won’t go into it… let’s just say, It wasn’t pretty.  I didn’t know if I should go to the hospital or to a dentist, I didn’t even have any idea where to start.  We started driving back to Los Angeles and stopped at Cedars, while waiting a lady gave me a number and said that her dentist (Dr. Elyassi) had helped her out of almost the exact situation. (she took a elbow in Basketball) I called the number and spoke to a man named Eric.  I explained the situation and Eric said that Dr. Elayssi was speaking at a seminar.  Eric asked me if I could give him a second to reach Dr. Elyassi on his cell phone. in under a minute Eric had me on a conference call with the Doctor on his cell phone explaining my situation. Dr. Elyassi said he could make it back to the office by the time I got there. Dr. Elyassi actually beat me back to the office by 30 seconds, I actually met him in the elevator!!!  My tooth and gums took a little work, but about an hour later, my mouth was feeling better and my tooth was fixed.   Today I noticed my lip is still a little swollen but my tooth looks perfect… I don’t too many doctors these days who would take a call on a cell phone and come in on a Friday… I think I got very lucky

I just got back from a visit with Dr. Elyassi at Wilshire Smile Studio and I use to hate to going to the dentist but ever since I started going to Dr. Elyassi, I can’t be happier. When going to the dentist, the worst part to me was the Novocaine injection in my mouth. I never trusted the sedation pills and the use of nitrous oxide doesn’t sit well with me, so I have to go with the Novocaine. After injections, with any good dentist you should not feel any pain so it really comes down to the pain caused by the injections that really get to me. This time I went for a deep cleaning and I can’t believe how well the dental hygienist applied the Novocaine. So patiently, so precise, so still, didn’t rush through it at all and I barely felt anything. The deep cleaning was done very well of course, but it was expected, Dr. Elyassi and his staff must adhere to the standards of movie stars, politicians, and top tier executives so I wasn’t expecting anything less. Usually they only do one side so you can eat properly on the other side for the day. So I would have had to come back another day for the other half but I mentioned to Dr. Elyassi that I live an hour away an it is hard for me to come all the way there, I would have still went, but he called another dental hygienist to come in just for me since they were completely book for the day to do the other half.  I really appreciated that. The only thing that bothered me about the visit was the fact that the flat-screen lcd tv wouldn’t come down all the way so I had to point my eyes downward to see the screen due to the way I was laying. Other than that I actually am looking forward to finally fix my teeth and finally making my smile perfect.

I live between Los Angeles and San Francisco and travel almost 4 days a week for a large part of the year. In my line of work I need someone who treats me like a valued patient, not like an insurance card.  I was the victim of several dentists before I met Dr. Elyassi and each time I couldn’t believe the runaround I was put through. Dr. Elyassi recently did an AMAZING job matching a front tooth that I broke playing hockey.  The entire procedure was painless, VERY affordable and the tooth was a perfect match! I have recommended Dr. Elyassi to many satisfied friends and I was reminded how great his work was when I caught an elbow in the mouth today playing basketball, I am happy to say that the tooth held up perfectly and yes, I will remember to wear the mouthgard he made me from now on!!!

Without any exaggeration, Dr Elyassi and his team are the best! I’ve been going to Wilshire Smile Studio for years and they have always made going for a dental appointment kind of a joy. 🙂 They’re all so professional, organized, and friendly. For that reason alone, this office stands out from the rest of the dentists I’ve seen in the past. Most importantly, Dr. Elyassi and his team shines where it matters the most- they’re work in the dental chair is immaculate. Dr. Elyassi is conservative and exceptionally careful. He keeps track of which teeth might need a filling in the future (I have weak teeth and am prone to small fissures), but he won’t extract natural teeth unless it’s necessary. Other dentists I’ve been have always just opted to extract and sometimes did unnecessary work. I love that Dr Elyassi’s approach is conservative and cautious. God forbid, I end up with a bunch of fillings in my mouth! Any how, the dental assistants are also careful and very attentive in order to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Additionally, the hygienists are great at helping to point out trouble spot and give helpful pointers to keep gums and teeth healthy. As mentioned, I’ve been going for years and my teeth and gums have never been healthier! So, though I thoroughly hate the traffic in Miracle Mile area, I’ll brave it at least twice a year because I don’t trust anyone else with my pearly whites. I don’t understand why some have complained about billing and how they weren’t explained about services. I’ve been going to Wilshire Smile Studio for years and have never had an issue with billing or the staff explaining services. If anything, they go way out of their way to explain everything in the clearest way possible and they’ve helped me sort of insurance issues many times. I think the administrative staff is just fantastic. 🙂

What an outstanding job they do at this practice!!!  I’ve never been so well cared for in a dental office.  Considering my most recent experience at a different office (I posted a negative review for that dental practice), I am tickled pink to be treated with respect and consideration for my out-of-pocket costs. I think that the below posts (from which the writing style seems to be the same person, or the same person’s not-so-well-spoken partner) are misguided, and I honestly believe this person’s review is under the wrong dentist. All of my friends and family come to this dentist, and I was the last to join in.  Dr. Elyassi is gentle, patient, and answered all of my questions.  His office support team made sure to verify all of my insurance benefits accurately and quickly.  They got me in on one day’s notice, and performed all of my work in the same appointment, noting that I “drove far” to get there and they didn’t want to make me drive out twice.  How considerate. If you are looking for the best care, you should go here!  I’m so very glad to have found such tremendously good customer service–and in Los Angeles, at that! P.s. The only thing the office “sold” me was excellent dental care.  I didn’t get pitched any information that I didn’t inquire explicitly about.

I was in the process of having an implant finally placed on my missing front tooth that previously had a bridge for many years. I went to another dentist who started the process, and completely botched it. After enduring many, many appointments with this other dentist over the course of a year plus (only to have a tooth that I had to glue back on about once a week), I took my business to Dr. Elyassi. Right off the bat, they remedied my crumbling smile and got me on the path to my implant. I could not be happier with my smile. The care and attention offered by Dr. Elyassi is second to none, to say nothing of the stellar office staff. I was made to feel as if I were his only patient, throughout every one of my visits. Anyone who has had an implant placed knows what a daunting task this can be. Dr. Elyassi made it as simple as could be. I am now kind of a walking billboard and testament to his abilities, as I get a lot of compliments on my revitalized smile. I can say with absolute certainty that anyone can expect the same high level of service and care that I received.

One of my tooth had been hurting for weeks so i finally decided that it’s time for me to get it checked. My first choice was actually to go get treated with one of my friends with her dentist at Beverly Hills – but when she told me how much she was paying, the cost was too high. I knew i had to get a second opinion else where. And i got very lucky because my mom recommended me her dentist that she had been going to for years – Wilshire Smile. I called the office to set up my apt. and it was perfect since my mom was due for her teeth cleaning as well so we ended up going together and made a day out of it. We all know how wilshire/la brea/fairfax area can be full of fun things to do. SO thumbs up for the location already – aside from the traffic and all. If YOU are thinking of the best times to get your dentist apt here, try to avoid rush hour ! so around 10 am – 2 pm. Anyways, back to my throbbing pain. Dr. Elyassi was the one who took care of my problem that day, and this was actually the first time I had met him – since this review is late. I’m referring to my apt about 3 months ago. TURNS OUT ! I had 4 cavities, and possibly 2 more coming if I don’t start taking care of my teeth asap. So we both agreed to get me fillings that day. I also then decided that to set up an apt to get a teeth cleaning with the hygienist. It’s recommended to get it at least twice a year ? WOW. who knew? -__-  So fast forward to this day… No more pain. No more cavities. and I successfully saved myself from further cavities. I am very happy with my new dentist. and i promise to take more care of my teeth ! 🙂

I hate the dentist. I hate the dentist so much I stayed away for 10 years until I couldn’t handle my tooth pain. I searched the internet for a dental practice with great reviews and settled on Wilshire Smile. I’m glad that I did. They will be my dentists from here on out. I appreciate everything about their service and I really appreciate the staff. Today I had my first deep cleaning and I thought I was going to die. It ended up not being that bad thanks to the dental hygienist. I am very impressed and grateful for their understanding of patients who fear needles in their gums and drills in their mouth. Five stars!

My treatment at Wilshire Smile Studio consisted of teeth cleaning & whitening and two implants. The process was quick and painless. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth took enough time to explain the procedures and complete my case to my satisfaction. My teeth are stain free. I also learned how I can take care of my gums better to avoid bleeding gums. I would also like to thank the dental assistants, Cris and Gladys, who helped with the teeth whitening. This office has the nicest staff, they do smile all the time. The specialist called me in the evening, after the procedure, to check on me. They text you as a reminder for appointments which is very cool. The office is very comfortable. They called in my pharmacy for my prescription as well. Wilshire Smile Studio stood out because their practice is very professional, detail-oriented, dependable and reliable. They have a first class customer service. I wish they would validate the parking, it’s not that pricey though.I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

I’m writing this quick review on my old time favorite dental office. I have been going to Wilshire Smile Studio for about 5 years now since I moved to LA. Dr. Elyassi always took care of me and my teeth! no doubt. I’ve known almost all the employees in Wilshire Smile Studio that we call each other by our first names, its pretty cool whenever i go in for my appointment because it feels just like home. This review is really quite overdue. All i have to really say is if you’re looking for a price worthy patient care for your teeth, this is the place to go. Wilshire Smile Studio is prominent for cosmetic dentistry but they offer every service for your teeth that you can name. 100% guarantee that you will not regret their services. Staff, office environment, current technology; they have it all really ! I’m one of those lucky people that doesn’t have to keep going around looking for a trust worth dentist.  P.S. i think i’m going to grow old and bring my future children to this office (;

I’ve had my share of dental issues in my life. Although I’ve had some well-known dentists in the past, nobody has captured my confidence like Wilshire Smile Studio. You simply can’t pay enough for somebody to care, they either do or they don’t. I was originally referred to this dental office by a coworker; nevertheless being a skeptical guy (especially because of horror experiences in the past), I was reluctant in the beginning to fully trust them. I always got a second opinion about their treatment plan from my cousin who is a dentist in NY and he always told me they are to the point. Now, I have been a patient at Wilshire Smile Studio for several years. Whether I was treated by the chief owner, Dr Elyassi, or his associates, over the time I realized more and more that I am really in very good and caring hands. They have all the digital technology as well. Dental issues can’t be always great news, but they are very honest and to the point. Urgent treatment were always addressed first and the rest was always on the watch list. Their office manager put me on an easy payment plan schedule and so far I’ve got my gums in a healthy state and got rid of my old silver fillings that were breaking down as well. I am planning to take my dad for his dental implants to Dr. Elyassi’s office. BTW, they have all the specialties (and several hygienists) on site and I don’t have to wonder around between different offices. Recently they diagnosed me with sleep apnea and they made me an appliance that was custom made for me. It helps me sleep so much better at night. It has also completely stopped my snoring. I had no idea sleep apnea is a life threatening problem, I had no clue. Their insurance coordinator was very knowledgeable to bill my medical insurance for the test, which was done at home, and for the appliance as well. My most recent hygienist is Massy. She is very professional, soft spoken and gentle. I am trying hard to have a good oral hygiene at home and learned my lesson not to miss my periodic checkup and cleaning.

I met my dentist by total accident, literally! I was driving to work the other day when a lady suddenly pulled into my lane. In an instant I turned my car nto the lane to my right and bumped into the back of an SUV.  I looked up and the driver in front of me was getting out of his car and walking toward me asking if I was ok? I couldn’t believe it, I hit HIM and he was asking me asking if I was hurt!  I was ok, just a little freaked out.  It was a dent on the hood of my car and luckily nothing happened to his SUV.  Dr. Elyassi gave me his card just in case I noticed something wrong with me or my dented car.  Ironically, I was going to call our HR Department that day to find a new dentist, and when I looked at his card, I realized that I had hit a dentist with my car!!.  This was my first accident ever, I was so shaken up and he couldn’t have been nicer. I figured if he cared about me after I hit him, he must be a kind doctor.  I went in last week and had a few laughs, a checkup, cleaning and X-rays and had NO cavities!!!!

I  was having severe pain in my ear while I sleep at night.  It was so bad that it would wake me throughout my sleep.  I was telling my co-worker about it and she told me that I definitely have a case of TMJ which apparently is some kind of teeth grinding condition and recommended that I visit her dentist.  I immediately booked an appointment with Dr. Elyassi because I could not go one more night with this pain and one more night without sleep.   When I called the office I spoke to a very sweet receptionist by the name of Charlene and told her whats going on with me.  She scheduled me right away as an emergency patient.  I visited the office after work that day. I did not wait that long for the doctor and when I finally met him I was somewhat relieved because he told me that what I do have is TMJ due to grinding and with the right nightguard I could get rid of the pain.  He assured me that he will customize the nightguard to fit my mouth so that it won’t be uncomfortable for me either.  He also adjusted my bite to avoid the grinding.  Right after, his staff took a molding of my teeth and made me a temporary nightguard for that night and also gave me some motrin. I wore the nightguard that night and it was a little uncomfortable but I am picking up my customized nightguard next week.  I never thought that with one visit, I can get rid of the excrutiating pain I was experiencing in my jaws and ears. I did not even know that my pain comes from subconscious grinding throughout the night. For those of you that don’t grind your teeth, the pain is inexplainable.  I woke up the next couple days fully rested and happy that I didn’t wake up crying.  What a relief! I think Dr. Elyassi is a great dentist especially for emergency case patients, he was really there for me!

Dr. Elyassi and his staff are completely professional, friendly and very interested in your well being. No waiting, not runaround and no selling! It was a little more than a year since I had visited my last dentist and I couldn’t believe how much technology had advanced.  Dr. Elyassi sat with me and explained every piece of equipment and how it would be used.  Dr. Elyassi made me feel comfortable and relaxed; this is certainly a change for me since I have always been afraid of the dentist! Dr. Elyassi is honest, friendly and very caring, I highly recommend him to be anyone’s dentist.

My name is Emma Brown; I am a professional race car driver.  I live in Boston and I met Dr. Elyassi when I was racing in Los Angeles.  Last month I hurt my front tooth and my doctor in Boston wanted to give me a plastic tooth so my mom called Dr. Elyassi.  My mom trusts Dr. Elyassi so we decided to fly to California to have him work on my tooth.   Dr. Elyassi had a porcelain veneer made for my tooth and it looks cool, you can’t even tell what tooth got fixed!  I really like Dr. Elyassi because he didn’t hurt me one bit and he is nice.   Thanks Dr. Elyassi.. and don’t forget, only stop for cops!

About 7 years ago, after many traumatizing experiences with several dentists, I was referred by friends to Wilshire Smile Studio.  Dr. Elyassi is always kind, soft spoken and very honest. The doctors are highly-skilled, sensitive, and astute always devoted to aesthetic outcome, with the willingness to listen as well as do what it takes to get good results. The office staff is congenial and friendly. Overall, as wonderful an experience as one can have in a dental chair. ( I had veneers made for my front teeth, completed beautifully and painlessly, in two visits). Highly recommended!!! Pros: Professional, kind, honest, trustworthy, pain free, amazing work, on time

I can truthfully say that after experiencing a range of their services throughout the course of 6 months, I can comment honestly on the quality of their practice.  Though reviewing a dental practice may not be the most glamorous experience I’d normally want to reveal, I feel it’s worthwhile to put my pride aside in order to launch this practice to the 5 stars on yelp that it truly deserves.  Without further adieu, here goes my list:   As you’ll read in prior reviews, Dr.  Elyassi is friendly and knowledgeable but not mentioned in prior reviews is his amazing team that drives this office like none other I’ve experienced. :  incredibly smart, professional yet down to earth with a truly warm heart.  You can joke and chat with her like she’s a sister but once she has that drill in her hands, she gets right to work with no hesitation and with a steady hand.  No matter how late it was (or early), she spent a great deal of time perfecting her work on me, never failing to admit if she didn’t feel comfortable doing something or if she felt she could improve.  Throughout all my treatments and to the end, she held my hand (literally) and made sure that I was absolutely satisfied with the results.  Never did I feel pressured to accept the services if I did not want them.  Because of my crazy work schedule, my appointments dragged to the cusp of their closing hours and I really appreciated that they all went  out of their way to accommodate my schedule as best as they could.  Let’s be honest, having an anesthetic needle popped in you is not exactly all rainbows but if I had to do it again, I’d put the needle in Dr. Nikou’s hand with no reservations.     It’s called Wilshire Smile Studio because they want your smile to be PERFECT.  I too, like some of the other reviewers, was skeptical of the treatments offered but now I thoroughly regret that I hadn’t taken Barbara’s advice sooner.  This woman (who I think has amazing teeth already) still thinks she has room to improve, so can you imagine the vision she sees for a Joe-Blow like me who neglected her teeth for so many years due to a hectic schedule?  Of course she’s going to recommend treatments that will improve aesthetics.  However, that being said, after I advised her that I didn’t want, nor have the money, to spend on my teeth like some others in this 90210 area code, she was COMPLETELY mindful and took every measure possible to accommodate me without making me feel belittled or second class.  That meant more to me than anything else.  Oh, and personality?  She’s got a ton of that.  Warm heart, funny….gawd.. i’m such a sucker for awesome people  =).   Chris, Calvinique, Angie: Awesome.  Let’s be honest, having an anesthetic needle popped in your mouth is not exactly all rainbows but through it all, they were there to hold my hand (LITERALLY) and made sure that I was in the least amount of pain possible.  They stayed late, side by side with Dr. Nikou, to help assist her.  They were gentle, knowledgeable and made me forget at times that I was even at a dentist office by making me laugh- obviously a plus considering all the ish I had to get done.   I trust them with no reservations. LocationEnvironment:   If it’s anywhere that I want to get my teeth done, it’s while looking out of a huge window with a 270 degree view of LA.  The view alone is absolutely breathtaking.  The facility is clean and sterile; the staff takes pride in their environment and maintains it to the best of their ability.   Quality:   I’m satisfied with the results of everything; my only regret is my skepticism at first and not having done it sooner.  You see, since I was little,  I’ve had a complicated bite.  It takes a lot of expertise to deal with it and surgery to correct the bite is simply not an option for me.  The fact that the team was able to work around this while still achieving comfortable results for me is beyond my comprehension.   Bottom Line:  Give them a shot.  If a service they’re offering is not right for you, just make it clear and I’m sure they’ll respect your wishes until you’re ready.  Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

I had a very serious gum disease problem when I arrived, due to my prior dentist not having taken a x-ray of my mouth for two years–he had treated the symptoms with cleaning and an injected antibiotic. By the time I saw Dr. Elyassi and his periodontist, I needed bone grafts and implants to replace teeth because the disease, which causes no pain, had eaten away part of my jaw. I wouldn’t see any other dentist now–I trust his judgment completely (and I say that as someone who has worked in the dental industry and know many dentists).

I was referred to Wilshire smile studio by a friend and I came in for my appointment just last week. I went to the floor where the office was and I was attended to in a matter of 10 minutes after I finished the paperwork that was given to me. They did x-rays and took pictures of my teeth to put in their records. I haven’t been in a dental clinic in a such a long time and I was amazed with the technology they were using. I could clearly see what was going on with my teeth and was shown what needed to be done. The staff were very friendly and they left no question unanswered. After they took pictures and x-rays for the record I was given a deep cleaning. The dental hygienist did a pretty good job because she took her time to be gentle while performing a thorough cleaning. I really felt refreshed and better about my teeth afterwards. Later on the dentist, Dr. E, took a look at my teeth and found out that I had my wisdom teeth positioned horizontally inside my gums and I had to get a dental surgeon to fix the issue. As of right now I’m still waiting to see if I am able to do the surgery because it will take me out of work for a while. I’m thankful for the staff members and doctors to cooperate as a team to make my smile better and healthier.
