Hello fellow Yelpers, I would like to share my experience at Woodland Hills Family Dentistry. I had an 10:00am appointment today, to have 4 cavities filled. I would just like to say the the whole experience was GREAT. Dr. Youseffi and her assist Mariam were very pleasant and professional. And did a great job checking with my comfort level while they were working on my cavities. I didn’t feel a thing. (And I’m afraid of dental work)(FYI) This was my first experience at Dr. Yosseffi’s office, and I give this Dental Office 2 Thumbs Up . All the staff are very polite and courteous. The receptions Dawn is also a Gem at this office. I would 1000% recommend my family and friends to Dr. Youseffi’s office, Thank You Woodland Hills Family Dentistry, And looks like I found a dentist, that I would trust and like to go to.

Not going to lie – I hate going to the dentists but everyone over here is super nice that you actually look forward to your regular 6 month cleaning appointments. Such a positive experience. It can be little confusing to find if you type in “Woodland Hills Family Dentistry” directly on the google maps but if you physically type in the address then it takes you right to the location. It is location on the second floor of the complex. There is ample amount of parking available – have a private parking lot in the back of the building. Everyone at this office are always smiling, professional and nice. Dawn is very helpful in regards to explaining the finances and she is not pushy at all in regards to treatment acceptance. Dr Yousefi is extremely thorough at explaining any of the dental questions. I would highly recommend everyone to go to this office.

Was referred by a co-worker to this office and was not disappointed. The office is very professional and I was impressed with the friendly atmosphere. The examination and work was done by Dr. Yousefi. She provided me with the best options and made me feel at ease by explaining the procedure. I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist, however, Dr. Yousefi made me feel very comfortable and made the procedure as painless and quick as possible. I have been coming to this office for 20-25 years now. . Janice has always been my hygienist and she does an amazing job!! She is very detailed oriented. Dawn has always been fantastic in the front helping me with my account and reminding me when it’s time for me to come in. This is very helpful with my schedule. The personal attention she gives is why I’ve been here so long. Dr. Yousefi is newer to the team but she is a great addition. She has helped me with a new crown and even fixed an old one that had problems.

After intro to Dawn, having Brenda take my X-Rays and getting to know her better during the X-Ray process – I felt very comfortable in the hands of my new Dental professionals. Dr. Yousefi is amazing! She discovered cracks in one of my teeth, I feel strongly that had my former dentist not been so involved “personally” with patients and staff, that perhaps had he actually seen me on my past 3 visits he’d have detected it himself. I woke up several times throughout the night with excruciating pain, so I started looking for dentists near by praying one would be open today. I called the main number and on voicemail it said to call another number for emergencies. I texted instead and almost immediately I received response from Dawn who was so nice and helpful. She told me to come in this morning, which I did. When I got there, she was so nice and friendly. I’ve had some bad experiences recently at other dental offices so I really appreciated how kind she was. After doing my extra for the infected tooth, it was determined that I needed to get on antibiotics right away and schedule to see an oral surgeon ASAP! I asked Dawn for schedule of costs, which she provided. It was so detailed and affordable since other practices were quoting me double what she quoted me. Customer service is big for me and I appreciate good customer service because it’s so rare these days. I’m definitely making this practice my dental home. I have no dental insurance and came across groupon deal for a regular check up with x-ray and cleaning. Oh my, this place was exactly how i want my dentist office to be like! The office is super clean with seems to be up to date equipments. Friendly, very professional and knowledgeable staffs. The front desk lady “Dawn” was wonderful. I’ve been coming to see Dr. Yousefi for years. She is always kind and professional. Last week I had a crown detach and they were able to get me in the very same day to quickly cement it back in. I was in and out in 20 mins. I also had my first root canal the same week (banner week!). I was anxious, but Dr. Shant who performed the procedure, took the time to explain everything he was doing and the entire thing went smoothly without a tinge of pain. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable and on top of things. I highly recommend this office!

I have a history of some really negative dental experiences that cost me not just in dental function and appearance, but repeat root canals and an extensive surgery. I was referred to Drs. Yousefi (and Shant) by two now former bosses. I can’t say enough about the talent and caring of Dr. Yousefi, who thankfully also has a gentle manner with patients like me who are skittish with any dental procedure. I literally cried when I saw the beautiful replacement of large front fillings and the smoothing out and polishing of some very poorly done work by a previous dentist that made me self-conscious. I haven’t smiled in public in several years because of how my teeth looked. I no longer have that problem thanks to Dr. Yousefi. All the office staff is professional, polite, good humored and very friendly too. It’s no wonder to me why this office has such a sterling reputation.

I have been coming to this office for close to 15 years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. As a self-professed dentaphobe, who went 10 years without treatment, I finally reached a point where I couldn’t put it off any longer. I had a true dental emergency. Dawn and Janice were wonderful and made sure I was properly medicated for procedures, which other dentists refused to do, hence the 10 year lapse. They rebuilt my entire mouth and did it beautifully. When Dr. Shant announced his retirement, I cried. However, Dr. Yousefi has become a very gentle, trustworthy and caring member of my care team. I wouldn’t trade this practice for a million bucks!

Both Dr. Yousefi are amazing dentist. The whole office takes great care of the patients starting with the front office Dawn and Julie. It’s like going to your friends. The story I have to tell is the story of a guy who does not really like to go to dentist. I am sure I am not the only one. I am truly afraid. I needed an extraction and bone graft (and need an implant later). In short, I was in and out very easily and my experience was very positive so far, even without an IV sedation. Dr. Yousefi and Dr. Shant made me be very relaxed and before I knew it, it was over. Looking forward to go back and get my implant. (the receptionist) are honestly some of the best and easy going people that also happen to be great at their job! Twice I’ve had to come in for teeth that have chipped due to normal life circumstances and they’ve always been quick to see me, give me a very good price estimate and have them bonded to look 100%! I even requested for her to make the teeth a little longer as I felt it was short compared to my original teeth and she made them look amazing. PS. I smoke weed and have had to ask them about when it is safe to smoke after the procedure and they have always been kind and easy going about it PPS. for a normal bonding on a chipped tooth you can smoke right away lol much love and thanks again yall

Very sweet, professional, and patient associates! It was a pleasure going here for a full cleaning and Xrays! Used an online Groupon and got a great price as a first time customer! They were able to notice that my wisdom teeth needed to be extracted and a small cavity. They gave me a complete payment breakdown and explained everything very thoroughly for me! I asked a ton of questions and they very patiently answered them all! Unfortunately, I had to use my company provided dentist to do the procedure as we have an HMO dental plan and the cost for tooth extraction is high. But I genuinely wished my insurance would cover the procedure with Woodland Hills Family as they really were a great experience!

I added to my experience by receiving my Advances Standing Program of International Dentists, ASPID/DDS from USC in 2012, where I was at the top of the dean’s list. I worked with companies like Western Dental Services and Pacific Dental Services for three years and added to my knowledge about advanced technology like the CAD/CAM same-day crown. As a general and cosmetic dentist, I provide care to all ages.
